Chapter 25: The much needed talk

Taehyun's POV

I was still making still making sure, whether I was seeing it right or maybe not. Since, I may mistake that person, for somebody I know and be embarrassed in front of so many people.

But, since it was getting darker and darker by the minute. It was also getting hard to identify people, with that kind of lighting. I went near the person, just to see it was really her. I ran towards the bench, and back hugged her. I felt her flinch a bit.

'Seems like I forgot, that she's a scaredy cat...' I thought, and made a really quick not to self.

She was trying to get out of my hug, so I let her. Since, she might be a bit uncomfortable with it. She quickly turned her head around and saw me. And once, she did, stood up from the bench, and was about to leave.

When, I quickly took action, and stopped her from doing it. "Yah! Don't you dare try to leave me here?" I said, and it was so super obvious that she was taken aback by it.

She quickly regained posture, and raised an eyebrow at me. "And why is that?" She asked me, while having her arms crossed.

"Because, I still need to ask you some questions." I said, answering her question earlier.

"I just want to know what actually happened to us. I mean we were okay, back then. But then, after you disappeared for a week, we went back to square one." I said, while being so soft just for her.

But, instead of answering me, she just avoided me and was about leave once again. And for some reason, that made me a bit mad. Cause, she keeps on blocking me out of her world.

I know, I should've gotten used to it by now, but it's just we've gotten close last two weeks ago, and now. We're back to square one.

"Yah! Chaeryeong!" I shouted at her, which made her flinch so badly.

After, a while I heard little sniffles as if somebody was crying. Since, her back facing me I don't know whether it was her or not. Since, I was so curious with it, I looked over at Chaeryeong and was deciding whether I should or not.

In which, the curiosity in me won, so I walked near her and saw that she was the one who's been crying. And I do admit, it hurts to see somebody you love, cry. I quickly went to her side, and tried to touch her, but she keeps on shoving my hands away.

"Don't touch me!" She keeps on exclaiming again and again. While, she was still crying.

"Look, I'm sorry okay? I didn't actually mean to shout at you... I was just frustrated with you trying to leave me all alone... After, I thought that we were actually finally friends..." I said to her, while still trying to touch her.

She was still crying her eyes out. So, I just decided to just comfort her. In ways, that I know she may or may not like. And that is via hugging her.

After a few minutes, she finally stopped crying. But, you can still tell that she still has more tears. That, she hadn't let out just yet.

We were quiet for some time already. Nobody spoke due to all the awkwardness between us. I wanted to break the silence, but I couldn't since, I don't know how to.

Usually, in our group, when we have awkward silences, Beomgyu hyung's the one who breaks them. Since, he is quite the talkative one.

"Well, since you want an explanation... I'll just give it to you, then..." She said which made me look at her, in surprised that is.
