Chapter 03: Meet The Bullies

Chaeryeong's POV

I woke up very early or maybe it's because, that's just a habit, of mine. That's I developed way back, either way, I'm fine with it.

Well, whatever It is, it will never change anything, instead it's just starting the day. Instead of just staying on my bed I quickly got up from lying down on my Bed, and went to my bathroom, to take a shower and got ready for school.

I was finally done getting ready, and it was only 3:32 AM. But, the earlier I go, the better I guess, and that also means that I will have less contact as them. I was fixing my things, not minding them, well, that is after I get home later.

After fixing my stuff, I wore my bag and went down, knowing they'll all be asleep, I went down and went over to my shoes and wore them, I went outside and closed the door as I left. And then I took a really deep breath and walked to school, as it wasn't really that far to be honest.

I was busy walking to school, when my phone suddenly vibrated, thinking it would be the girls; I smiled at the thought that they were worried for me. I quickly took my phone out of my pocket and looked at it a bit, but when I saw caller, I quickly dropped my smile into a frown.

I was confused because I don't really give my phone number that easily, I was fighting myself, if I should even answer the call or not. But, in the end, I answered the call and the caller was looking for my sister, but I said that I wasn't her and he got the wrong number, I ended the phone call and blocked the number, and continued to walk towards to school.

I reached the school, in no time and walked towards the guard house, and knocked on his door. Him knowing it would be me opened the gate and let me inside the school, since it was pretty much like this every single day, so there was nothing new about it.

Since there was still nobody in school I decided I should go to my classroom and put my bag there and wait for the others.

The school was getting more and more populated due to the fact school was about to start. And with that, I haven't seen the girls yet, though. So without thinking twice, I went to look for them, but not without calling one of them.

I called Lia eonni knowing she'll be somebody who'll probably answer my question fast and probably has a good answer. I looked for her contact and when I saw it, I tapped it. After a few seconds she suddenly texted me.

Chaeryeong?

Chaeryeong:
Where are you guys? You guys do know that school will be starting soon right?

Lia:
Yeah... about that, we'll be there later, since something happened at the office, we already called the faculty and said if they can excuse us for the morning classes, well, that's for me and Yeji.

Chaeryeong:
How about Ryujin-ah, then?

Lia:
Oh! That's right! Ryujin will be there the whole day to monitor you because she doesn't trust your sister's group.

Chaeryeong:
Oh... okay, then. Where should I wait for her then?

Lia:
Maybe at the school gate or your classroom?

Chaeryeong:
Okay, bye eonni.

Lia:
Bye, Chae! Take care of yourself!

After that, I ended the call, and went straight to the school gate, just to be met by my sister's group. IZ*ONE. I was going to walk away from them, when one of them suddenly grabbed my hair, and guessing by the way the person, it's Minju.

"Oh. Look girls, we have a Rat." She said, and the others started laughing, even my sister.

I literally had tears, but I was holding them back, because I don't want to let them to know that I'm weak. They were bullying me, alongside with my older sister, Chaeyeon eonni. They were all laughing and having fun, until we heard a voice.

"Hey! Stop that!" Somebody shouted, and from the sound of his voice, it's a boy.

We immediately looked at the person, and I was shocked to see an angry looking seatmate of mine, named Kang Taehyun. I looked to see at the reaction of the girls and when I saw it, they looked pissed off.

"Pssh... Party pooper. Come on, girls." I heard Minju say, and left the place, I looked at my sister, and she had a apologetic look on her face, then quickly left following her so called 'Friends'.

Knowing, nobody will help me, I stood up and dusted my uniform. I suddenly see a shadow over my body; I looked up to see, a worried looking, Kang Taehyun. I didn't mind his presence since, some of my bullies are his fan girls, and since they bully me because of him, I thought that the only way to get away with it was just to avoid him at all costs.

"Hey, are you okay?" I heard him ask, But, I didn't reply, to him, due to any gossipers in this school.

I can feel his stares that can cut through a soul of somebody. But, instead of looking at him, I left him, to go to the classroom and went to my seat, knowing I'll still be seeing his face, because he is my seatmate.

I looked outside the window, and waited for our teacher to arrive.

Taehyun's POV

I'm currently standing at the entrance of our school gate, because Chaeryeong once again left me shocked.

'She didn't even say "Thank you".' I thought and sighed. And messed up with my hair, but I suddenly smiled, because knowing that; I will be successful and be her friend.

Although, they say, that she's a person who doesn't even know how to smile, I want to at least try my best to become friends with her.

I looked at the last place where I saw her, and I suddenly thought that, she was the only one...

'She really is different; she's the only one who makes me feel as if I'm normal, and not perfect.' I thought, and stared into the distance.
