~Aphmau's POV~

I looked out the window of my dorm. I looked at them. Having a picnic on the campus grounds. Oh how I envied her. Zoey. I didn't know her that well, but in the short moments we've shared she has shown pure kindness.

I've known Garroth since we were children. I've had the biggest crush since I've known him, but he is dating Zoey.

I hold no grudge against her. I have no reason to, but it still hurts to know he picked her. However I'm not surprised. She is perfect. Her appearance. Her smile. Her personality. No wonder he loves her.

I grabbed my old journal out from my desk. I poured all of my feelings on to the paper. I grabbed my ukulele from under my bed. After playing a few chords on the ukulele I wrote them down and skimmed through the page.

Suddenly I heard a ding. I checked my phone to see Katlelyn had texted me.

Katie;)- Hey:) you ready for your gig at the cafe?

You- OMI! Almost forgot! BTW thanks for persuading your boss to let me preform there.

Katie;)- No prob! But u owe me.

You- lol;) anyway gtg! By girly!

I chuckled to myself. Oh Katelyn. I grabbed my ukulele and my journal and opened the door.

" Bye Kawaii~Chan!" I screamed at my roommate.

" Goodbye Aphmau~Chan!" She replied as I left the dorm.

I put my journal under my arm as I walked to the campus cafe. When I walked up to it, I looked up and saw the cute little sign. Luna Peony it read.

I walked into the little cafe. The place was pretty packed. It wasn't too crouded, but almost all of the seats were filled.

I scurried up to the little stage in the corner and pulled up a chair. I adjusted the microphone and sat down.

"H-Hello" the costumers all looked at me with curiosity " H-Hi...umm... Today I am going to be singing a piece that I have written myself. I hope you enjoy." The crowd went silent as I gathered my ukulele and adjusted the microphone once more.

I suddenly heard the sound of a piano. I turned around to see Garroth playing the piano, and Zoey helping out. I smiled and they smiled back. I turned back around and continued to sing.

There was a silence. Then the whole crowd broke into applause and cheers. I turned around to Zoey and Garroth. They gave me encouraging looks and thumbs ups.

As I was packing up my things I glanced up at the couple. Garroth was facing Zoey and he gave her a questioning look. She nodded her head and he gave her a big hug.

I stood up with all my things and Garroth walked up to me.

" Hey umm Aph. I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date?" I was shocked. I gave him a puzzling look.

"What about-" he cut me off.

"Don't worry. Trust me." I looked over his shoulder and Zoey was smiling. She gave me a quick wink that Indicated that she was alright.

I looked back at Garroth and nodded. He smiled brightly and said "So it's a date."
