Prologue
"No, no, no, no, no, no, no!!!" I wailed, frustrated. I watch Percy and Annabeth stand awkwardly next to one another, their movements hesitant and totally NOT coupley!
The spark that they had was gone. Gone! Poof, like it never even existed! I felt nothing but awkwardness, uncomfortability, and sadness emitting from the former lovers. The next thing I knew, I was crying.
Their love used to be so passionate! What in Hades name changed?!? Why were they no longer interested in each other?!!
My crying evolved into full blown sobs, mascara running in streaks down my face. Great! Now I had to redo my makeup, which was perfect as it was!!!
My sobs got louder. Percabeth was over, and then this!?! MY LIFE IS RUINED!!!!
"What happened, Love?" Ares gruffed, placing a huge hand on my shoulder, playing with my hair with his other hand. I look straight up at his cruelly handsome face, which was twisted in anger.
I start hiccuping, my tears slowing. Ares would kill anyone for me in a snap of a finger if I asked.
How romantic.
"M-my shi-ip c-cr-crashed!!" I wailed out, my hiccups making me stutter. I bust my head to his chest, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Huh?"
I roll my eyes, slowly putting myself back together. He was a bit dense sometimes.
"Percy and Annabeth don't-" I stop, taking a deep breath before continuing, "don't love each other anymore."
Ares clenched his jaw at the mention of Percy Jackson. "Those punks will love each other once they meet my fist!" He growled, smirking evilly.
I tore myself away from Ares, glaring with more heat than the Fields of Punishment. How dumb was the god of war?
"That's not how it works, Ares!" I snap, summoning my love-glass. I zoomed in on Percy and Annabeth, pursing my lips. Something moved behind them. Nico and Will passed by the former couple, holding hands as they chatted over something.
Percy and Nico threw each other a smile and a smile wave, Nico's cheeks tinting a light pink. Looks like someone hasn't fully gotten over his old crush.
I grin as I inspected the two boys. As cute as Nico and Will were, imaging the drama, what a scandal they'll create! I promised Percy a love life worthy of my name! I would keep my promise.
I push myself off of the floor of my palace, determined to fulfill my job of spreading love.
After I fix my hair and makeup, I take a walk through one of the Rose Gardens, the silence helping me think.
How could I possibly make this work? Nico and Percy would need to be away from Camp Half-Blood to bond, to go deeper than the surface without worrying about monsters and ex-girlfriends, and charmspeak can only go so far. The only thing that I could do was plant a physical attraction to Nico inside of Percy, much like a lust potion Hermes once was influenced by. That was a disaster. . .
I freeze, hearing mumbling a little ways down the path of the Garden. I crept closer, clinging to the shadows. Hecate and Nemesis were together, arguing over something.
"Give. Them. Back!" Hecate hissed, her face flushed with anger.
"I told you that I'd give them back once you've helped me," Nemesis replied calmly, starring Hecate down. After a few moments, Hecate sighed.
"Fine, what do you want?"
Nemesis grinned in victory. "I already told you what I want. I want your help."
Hecate rolled her eyes in exasperation. "What do you need me to do?"
"I need you to open a portal to the wizarding world for Percy to go through."
My eyes widen in excitement. This was my opportunity! I would plant the attraction to Nico in Percy, place my blessing on Nico, and transport them into the wizarding world. It would be perfect!
"Nemesis! We need our hero now more than ever! With the upcoming war-"
"I will only let you do this on one condition," I intervene, cutting Hecate off. I step into the sunlight, the shadows lurking behind me. Nemesis sighed.
"What do you want, Aphrodite?"
I smile sweetly at her, despite her tone. "Watch how you speak to me, minor. When Hecate opens the portal, I want Nico Di' Angelo to be transferred along with Percy."
Nemesis crossed her arms defiantly. "And why would we do that?"
I narrow my eyes at her. If honey doesn't work, bring out the lemons. She should know better than to talk to one of the 12 Olympians like that!
"I have my reasons. If you don't comply, I will consult the council of your activities. You both will be kicked off of Olympus for attempting to kidnap our 2-time hero, and for interfering with mortal affairs. Do we really have to go down that road, ladies?" I coo, my sweet smile never leaving my face. Both goddesses bristled and shared a look before bowing their heads to me.
The next day, I watch boredom as the 11 Olympians argued over the 7's (and Reyna and Nico's) reward after the defeat of Gaea. Zeus and Athena wanted to make Percy a minor god and have him monitored, but Poseidon would hear none of it. All the other gods were teaming up, arguing over whether or not to make Perseus a god.
A "light bulb" went off in my head (that's what mortals say when they have an idea), and I smile brightly.
"Ladies and gentlemen," I purr, wanting everyone's attention. My words were lost in all the shouting, Athena in a heated debate with Poseidon.
"Gods and goddesses," I say louder, slightly annoyed at the prospect of having to raise my voice. I was only spared a glance from a few gods, who immediately went back to fighting. How rude! That does it!
"Listen to me!"
Everyone's head turned to me, their eyes glazed over and expressions slack. Oh, the wonders of charmspeak.
"We will summon the children here, reward them, then vote on Perseus' fate instead of causing further delay."
They all nodded along, although Poseidon's eyebrows furrowed unhappily. Zeus flashed the 9 demigods into the throne room, who looked queasy and startled upon their sudden teleportation.
"We have have decided your rewards, young heroes!" Zeus boomed, making lightning flash in the clouds above us. I roll my eyes; and people say I'm a drama queen!
The demigods all bow down to Zeus, then bowed to their respective parent. I run my eyes over Piper's attire as she bows to me, my lip curling up in disgust. Her outfit was bland and baggy, her hair was choppy and uneven, and she was wearing sneakers. Sneakers! If she didn't charmspeak, I wouldn't have ever thought that we were related in the slightest.
Why couldn't she be more like Drew?
Meanwhile, the other Olympians droned on and on about the gifts the heroes would receive.
Nico was now the immortal Ghost King. He had to return all ghosts in the mortal world to the underworld, where they belong. It sounded more like a job to me, but Nico looked happy with the "gift".
Leo was given a choice. He could become immortal, or have his cursed fire ability relinquished. He chose the latter, obviously thinking about Calypso and her now mortal form.
My mother Rhea, you should have seen the chaos he caused at Camp Half-Blood when he returned with Festus and Calypso! But that was a story for another time.
Jason and Piper were given immortality, but they had to complete the promise that Jason had made to all the minor gods. Jason had to build shrines for every single Greek and Roman God. Piper would help, of course, but the job would take a good few decades to complete.
Reyna was given a choice, like Leo. She could have the full blessing of Mars and Bellona, so she could never die in battle (she can only die of natural causes), or she could live forever, without the blessings. Reyna rejected both gifts respectfully (the ungreatful brat) and stood next to Nico.
Frank's life no longer depended on a piece of firewood, Hazle's curse of jewels and gold was lifted, Annabeth was given a spider repellent charm, and all were given immortality.
Then, Perseus was finally called to receive his gift.
The council voted on whether or not to make Percy a minor god, and 8/14 Olympians votes yes, including me. I mean, almost all of his friend were immortal, so why not?
Zeus smirked and summoned the fates, who circled Percy like vultures. They sure do look like them anyway.
The fates began to chant in Ancient Greek, power stirring in the air. Being a god was very different from being immortal. A god had domains and additional power while an immortal didn't get either.
Percy, the poor boy, was so shocked that he never moved an inch while this was happening.
As one, the fates blasted Percy with golden, raw power. Percy fell on his knees, a pained groan escaping from his lips. The minor gods say that the transition from mortal to god, from blood to icor, was so painful, they couldn't even scream. By the time the fates were done, Percy was flat on his back, looking up at the clouds and his face screwed up in pain.
"Perseus, the conqueror of monsters, time, and the earth itself, you are the minor god of the sea. You are the steady and peaceful calm before a storm. You are the patron of all heroes. You are the patron of all who are loyal. Welcome, Perseus, to godhood," the fates chant together, creeping everyone out. They did this every time, unfortunately.
When the golden light died down, my jaw dropped at the sight of Percy. His face was more angular, his jawline sharp and begging to be bit, and his cheek bones were set high and proud. His skin held a golden tan, his muscles sculpted from ice and stone. From here, I could smell a deliciously tropical scent. Percy took one look at his toga before snapping his fingers. He covered his delicious muscles with a simple hoody and jeans, making me scowl at the loss of the eye candy.
"Welcome home, Perseus Olympas," Zeus said, smirking down at Percy. The new god just threw the king a vicious glare, turning back to his friends. Nico looked absolutely star-struck, practecly drooling at the sight of Percy. I giggle, not missing the confused glance Percy threw at me for laughing.
So oblivious.

"The plan just got easier! Now that Perseus is a minor god and Nico is immortal, we wouldn't be violating the ancient laws," Nemesis said smugly, smirking triumphantly.
"That was only one problem out of others. I will be using an immense amount of magic to portal Perseus and Nico to the wizarding world, all the while making it seem like a year over there, but only a few seconds here. Then, I need to implant 17 years of magical knowledge into their brains!" Hectare ranted, pacing back and forth in the Rose Gardens.
"Don't give them knowledge, then," Nemesis retorted, rolling her eyes.
"I don't trust them to learn about the Wizarding world and not reveal our world at the same time!" Hecate snapped, glaring at Nemesis.
"Just give me a week to-"
"No," Nemesis cut Hecate off, "we are doing this today. Not tomorrow, not in a week. Now. Aphrodite and I will lend you some of our power to assist you. I'll even bring your pets to provide some motivation."
Hecate pressed her lips together and nodded, her eyes blazing with fire at Nemesis' clipped tone.
I observed the whole conversation in silence, applying a light pink lipstick.
"Hecate, implant the information into the boy's minds after I sedate them. The sedative lasts up to 11 hours," I say, pursing my lips and looking into my compact mirror, making sure that my lipstick application was perfect. I am just so gorgeous!
Nemesis and Hecate turn to me, eyes wide with surprise. I scowl, they probably forgot that I was here. Hecate nodded, summoning her staff and drawing some wacky shapes on the ground, runes, I think they're called.
I snap my fingers, teleporting Nico and Perseus' to me (as an Olympian, I could teleport minor gods to me, but I couldn't teleport another Olympian) and knocked them out. It took quite a lot of power to knock Perseus out, but I did it. I could hear Hecate mumbling to herself as she channeled her power into activating the portal.
". . . Need to make new bloodlines for the boys. . . wands. . . necromancy as an excuse for. . . new school? Yes, and. . ."
Nemesis summoned Hecate's empousai and her familiar, a dog. The portal was now swirling colors of green, blue, and purple now that Hecate's little pets were here and Nemesis and I were lending our power at the same time. Personally, I would have preferred the portal to be a lovely shade of pink.
I glance down at Nico, scowling at his unhealthy appearance. Someone as gorgeous as Percy did not get with someone as disgustingly unhealthy as Nico, so I placed my perminate blessing on the boy, watching in pleasure as the boy's appearance changed. His sickly pale skin was now glowing like moonlight, the bags under his eyes fading away, his dry lips pink. What completed the look was his hair. It had tamed itself, his curls untangled and styled to the side.
The sight of the now pretty boy made my eyes water. This experience would change my little birds!
Percy will eventually give in to the lust I planted in him (it was keyed to Nico, of course) and Nico will eventually admit his feelings to Percy.
Then, they'll get together.
What could possibly go wrong?
