In the previous chapter-

The final showdown is about to happen between two teams, and once it's over another legendary fight will take place somewhere.

Dark and Light. Vanguards that will choose side..

Which side are you on?

Hime looked outside.

Aichi and Koutei are about to play.

"Aichi, you know I won against a strong opponent not using that power."

The nervous that was there disappeared immediately. "Really! I see."

"It's your turn now. you have to win."

"Yah."  

"It's my turn now to promise you something."

"Goodluck out there."

"I know you can do it ni-san!"

"Thanks guys."

Tetsu looked down. "The winner of this match will determine who will fight us."

"It doesn't really matter who fights us. I'm sure we will crush them for good."

"Master, apparently PQ4 is in the lead."

"I can see that."

"And if you want nothing but power, then i guess you'll lose something precious to you. I'm going to stick with a vanguard fight that's different than yours. And then I'm gonna fight you and win." 

"Show me this different fight of yours Aichi." Ren smiled, as he made fun of the boy who rejected him in his mind.

"Stand up! Vanguard!"

"Wingal Brave!"

"Enigman Flow!"

Koutei was up first. "Draw, ride enigman ripple." he then activated the skill of the 2 enigman. "turn end."

"Draw, i ride Marron. Wingal moves, next I call barcgal. And i superior call flogal! Flogal and wingal attacks!!"

Koutei recieved the damage.

"Next Marron attacks!...Then I end my turn."

"Draw I ride Enigman Wave. Skill, it gains 1000 power. I call Masked Police Grander. "

The two attacked Marron.

Everyone is so nervous at the fight. They couldn't help but show it unconsciously.

"Ei, both of them have 2 damage."

" D2 yo."

"They kept on returning the effect to each other."

"Draw. Barcgal call llew! Counterblast! Llew, Flogal and Barcgal move to the soul. Stand up my avatar!! I superior ride Blaster Blade!"

Everyone was happy. Aichi calling Blaster Blade his avatar again. It's been so long.

"That Blaster Blade combo. Yah it's very Aichi like. "Misaki couldn't help but smile at the sight.

"Yes, since Aichi has been using Shadow Paladin for a while."

"It feels like ni-san has come home!!"

"Yah it does."

Aichi had ever felt happy before. To be with his teammates, his allies and comrades, and most of all. He can be with the 2 most important person in his life.

"Call!!" in no time Aichi's field was full. 

Koutei analyzed each card. 

"Pongal's skill, counterblast. I add soul saver in my hand. I'm ready, Koutei I'm gonna give all my strength to you."

But koutei was busy analyzing Aichi's moves. "....so that's what you're going for.."

"As expected Mitsusada saw through Aichi's trick." Ren said, amused of Aichi's doing.

"Naturally, that man is one of the best cardfighters in the world. "

"But ofcourse he's no much for our Ren."

Ren laughed a little at Asaka's comment. "...But I haven't sensed him activate Psyqualia.  If he doesn't use it on this match he won't be able to win. Maybe this path of your involves you losing Aichi. "

"Kay attacks your enigman wave. Skill he gets +3000 power."

"I guard with Enigman Ripple."

"My vanguard attacks."

"No guard."

"Drive check."

"Bedivire attacks!"

"I guard with guide dolphin."

"Turn end."

"Stand and draw. Summon your courage my invincible superman! I ride Enigman Storm! And call."

Three rear guard circles were filled.

Koutei carefully and tactically attacked each of Aichi's rearguards. 

"I see...Koutei-san is trying to destroy my soul saver strategy."

"If soul saver's skill is activated you get to give 3 rearguard 5000 power. That would mean big trouble for me. But if I decrease the number of your rearguards then it might tell a different story."

"The fight is  going to Koutei's direction." Tetsu said, not losing his poker face.

"Hmm, it'll be pretty hard for that Aichi boy to win."

"There's one way to tell a different tale."

"What is that master?"

"He has to use his power. C'mon Aichi use that power. You have to get addicted to it and then humiliate Mitsusada."

"Enigman storm attacks your vanguard Twin drive, stand trigger. Enigman shine stands."

Once those 2 attack hit 4 cards were already on Aichi's damage zone.

"Koutei is really amazing. He already figured out that I was gonna use Soul Saver dragon so he retired my rear guards. This a top level fighter. Am I any match for him?"

And then suddenly that moment that feeling returned again. Ren and Hime felt it.

Card rushed to Aichi's mind. "T-the power of psyqualia?! Wait!!" aichi somehow landed on cray because of that power.  "Guys, I know you want to help me by showing the future of the cards. But if I don't rely on my own strength I won't be able to get stronger. So I want to fight Koutei with my own strength."

All of the royal paladins understood his feelings and dissappeared. 

ren was shocked. "What...!?

while Hime sighed with relief. "I knew you could do it."

"Sacred Dragon!Appear and  muster your great power ! I ride Soul Saver Dragon! Holy Charging Roar.Normally I would be able to power 3 units...but even so! Call! Palamedes! Attack the vanguard! "

"Intercept."

"Soul Saver! Go and attack!!"

Koutei smiled. "No guard."

"Twin drive." no trigger appeared. "gordon attacks!! "

"Guard with cosmo fang!"

Kamui was so mad right now. "Dang it! If only Aichi had another unit there, he could have dealt 1 more damage to him!"

"Well then Aichi, because I acknowledge you as my rival I'm going to challenge you by giving all out! I put guide dolphin to the soul then my vanguard gains 2000 power. I call cosmo beak, counterblast and then plus 4000 power to enigman storm! Call!!! My vanguard's skill! If he is reaches more than 15000 power he gets plus one critical!"

"Plus one critical!?"

"Glory maker boosts, my enigman storm attacks!" koutei looked at a certain card. "Gordon. Skill activated,plus power to my vanguard again."

Ok that made everyone surprised.

"That's a total of 28000 power!" but Izaki was confused. "But isn't  that kinda a waste. If he's got a critical why waste on a rearguard."

"yah! Rearguards should fight rearguards!"

"I don't think that's the case here."

Azami looked at the one who spoke. "What do you mean Miwa?"

"Well, you'll see."

"Twin drive.first...second...heh it couldn't appear a better time. Stand trigger power to my vanguard and then glory maker stands."

Aichi watch as gordon's card fly to the drop zone.

"Now I'll show my real strength."

"Huh?"

"Four of my rearguards rest because of commander Laurel's skill.And then stand! Enigman storm!!"

Izaki could see it clearly now. "I see with commander laurel's skill activate he can stand up storm again." 

"And since the cost for standing up the vanguard is no problem he could activate it any time. In this case he can retire an intercept for example. "

Ayumi remembered something. "His critical.."

Everyone soon was shocked. "oh yah!! He has two criticals!!"

"And Aichi has 2 damage!"

Everyone inside realized it too. "And he also stand with Glory Maker."

"Yes, he's attacking with full strength now."

Everyone is nervous right now...but-

"Why?" ren took a good look on Aichi's face. "Even if he's on a losing side right now, he's on a brink of losing, why does he look so calm?"

Even Kai is smiling right now

(a/n: ok hell must  be freezing right now)

"This is  Aichi's true strength!"

Everyon present it that fight remembered it clearly.

"He kinda reminds me off.."

"..Yah when they fought back then."

"That just means this match wont be over yet!" Hime's mind is about to explode with all of these events.

"Glory Maker Boosts, Enigman storm attacks!"

"Guard!!!"

Aichi used up all of his 4 cards to defend himself.

"Twin drive..." no trigger appeared.

Both fighters smiled at each other like reading their minds. "I'm enjoying this fight."

"This is amazing!! They're both using their full strength at each other!" Misaki beammed.

"A fight with 2 hearts in tune. That is much more valuable than bringing your opponent into his knees."

Ren was annoyed as the turn of Koutei came to an end.

But things are looking grim for Aichi.

"Aichi used up all of his cards in his hand just to defend himself."

"And he also has a spare rearguard circle. Man! he's losing allies."

Shin is also worried. "And what's worse he has 2 diamond ace in his hands, and a cosmo beak to intercept."

Hime didn't speak. Instead she believe in the boy fighting out there for the team. "You believed in me, it's my turn now to believe in you."

Aichi started his turn as he drew the card. "I know it's my turn now but I'm one a bad position..But still, i'm gonna give everything i've got!" He drew the card.."Y-you came for me?"

Koutei was somehow nervous right now.

"See the King as he once was!I ride! Alred Early!! I activate his skill! I superior call Blaster Blade from the soul!! Stand up once again my avatar!! I retire your cosmo beak from the field!"

"Tch!!"

"Now we can get an attack through!"

Yuri crossed her arms. "That kinda almost happens sometimes."

"Huh?"

"I know you haven't experienced it ."

Guy sighed. Kiniro looked up. "Yah, when your allies won't leave you hanging when you're giving it all."

"Attack!"

That makes 5 damage...

"Marron boosts. Alfred attack!"

"I guard with Diamond ace!"

It all comes down to...

"Twin drive!!" a glowing card made it's way to Aichi's reach. "Sharron!! Thanks for coming!"

"Gah!"

"I stand palamedes! And power to my avatar! Blaster Blade go!!"

"....NO GUARD!"

...

...

...

Everyone cheered

"THAT'S IT FOLKS THE TEAM ADVANCING TO THE NEXT ROUND IS TEAM PQ4 !"

Ayia clapped. "bravooooo. Won't you say?"  she smiled at Kourin.

"Yah! He won by not using psyqualia.."

But suiko had other ideas. "but tomorrow...That wont be possible.... Not if suzugamori ren is his opponent."

"Wow! A  fight between 2 users!"

"Yeah... And then once that happens, psyqualia. We will finally know it's true meaning."

Aichi and Koutei are already in the middle shaking hands.

"Ni-san!! I'm kinda moved!!" Kamui is so excited right now. He's smiling from ear to ear.

Guy, Yuri and Kiniro were there too. "I know we could trust the job of defeating Asteriod to you."

"Beat them for us will you?"

Everyone smiled at each other, celebrating the win.

"I know you can do it!"

"Emperor's right. Do your best ok?"

Kai and Shin remained in the backround... Everyone is now thankful now that PQ4 can advance to the finals..
