Kamui caught Nagisa's eyes were wet.

"They're strong. Don't you dare be careless."

Aichi, holding his deck said to gouki "We'll win! We'll win definitely win!

The boy from team Avenger revealed his face.

Pq4 was shocked. "You are-"

"Yah! It's me! Kyou Yahagi! It's been a long time PQ4. And, Kai Toshiki!" he glared with all his might as he met eyes with that guy.

"Why is he here?" Hime doesn't like this one bit. The thought of the power is slowly drifting away.

"I'm sure Asteriod is participating in a different tournament." MIsaki said.

As she said those words, hate filled their opponent's heart.

"This is revenge." he said with much hate.

Aichi was shocked.

Insanity filled Kyou's eyes. "That's right! I've come back for revenge!" he laughed like a bully who just got what he wanted.

The team looked at him with different emotions.

Kamui shrugged. "Something about him, changed."

"You don't say" Hime smiled sarcastically.

Aichi racked his brains."Maybe something happened?"

Kyou could hear their conversations even though he's that far. His expression changed. " 'Something?' Yeah." he clenched his fists. Something happened, in fact PLENTY happened!"

He remembered what happened in these past few weeks.

"I lost everything when I lost to you."

It way back in the Asteriod headquarters.

Kyou was pleading all his might to Tetsu-

"Please!  Let me do one more time!" 

- while Hinagiku was doing her checklist. " So this week- woah!" she bawled her eyes out. "We have to dispose many people huh?" she scratched her head. "  I hate doing this kind of job."

Asaka sighed. "Ren-sama gave that important job to you Hinagiku. So you better do it properly."

"Hai hai. Ok first on this list is Kyou Yahagi." she looked at the chart once more. "That's funny, Kyou you have a guy what the exact same name! Good thing he's not you or else, you'll be out of this team."

Hearing this only made Kyou panicked more. "P-please! Just  one more! Give me one more chance!"

Tetsu gave no mercy to his used to be teammate. "Foo fighter has no need for losers." he started to look down at Kyou's presence. "Give me back your I.D card."

Kyou knew he has no choice, it's either his vanguard life of life.He gave his I.D and so his vanguard life.

Tetsu crushed it with his two fingers. " Kyou had nothing to do but watch as his precious life was taken away from him.

Hinagiku immediatly realize it as she saw Tetsu destroy Kyou's card. She decided to play along. "I knew you weren't gonna last long in our team. After all-" she checked Kyou's box. "-you're the weakest among us."

Kyou was about to answer when he heard Asaka's sinister laugh. "Serves you right."

"What?!"

"Remember what you said?"

Hinagiku acted out. "I hear you and Ren are evenly matched!If I defeat you then I'm stonger than Ren!"
"I'll be the leader of Asteriod!"
"Sure! The guy with ability should stand at the top!"

Asaka then looked at Kyou. "Ability,huh? What a fine word coming out of your pathetic mouth. To bad it came out from someone who doesn't have it."

"I'm starting to pity that word. Do me a favor kyou, and say something more fitting like-" Hinagiku smiled evilly. "Trash."

Asaka tagged along. "Trash has no right to be here! Get out!"

He was out of the gate before he knew it. He looked back "Heh, I don't need asteriod. I can basically cardfight anywhere! With my abilities you guys are nothing!"

"But it didn't go well as I thought."

"What!? You all refuse!" he's starting to get annoyed." The great Kyou is willing himself to join all of you and yet you all refused!?" then a thought hit him. He smiled "Oh I get it, you all never heard of me right?"

"We all know you."

"Kyou Yahagi. The only member who was fired.

Everyone started laughing. And after a while some cardfighted and ignored his presence. 

Frustration filled him by the minute. Each store he visisted, each reject he recieve. It was driving him to his last sanity. It was nightime before he know it. He kept on walking and walking until rain was on him. Water splashed in his body, but he didn't care. Walking and getting frustrated was the only thing he can do left. He doesn't know what to do. 

Then finally he reached a window panel with a Tv. And it featured the winners of the nationals. "Ren..." then he started laughing like he lost it. "Revenge...Revenge! Revenge!!!" he kept on chanting those words as he started walking off.

"After that i remembered the other Asteriod fighters that got kicked out like me. I gud them out  and finally Team Avengers was born." he and his team started laughing confidently.

Hime yawned "You know we didn't really asked for your back story. Or was that your strategy to keep us sleepy?"

"What!?!!"

"So? What will you gain in this team Avengers thingy? You sound like a marvel comic to me."

"we only have one objective. To beat Asteriod and most importantly Ren! That'll be our ultimate revenge!"

Then he looked at each one. "And as our first step. Kai Toshiki! I'll beat you like you did last time! The guy who had the lucky draw! Fight me in the first match if you're not afraid of me!" he laughed again while his sanity.

As the MC announced the first match the PQ4 started to decide which one is gonna go first.

Misaki looked at their first opponent "Yahagi Kyou huh? He's creepy."

Kamui did the same and stayed alert. "But the fact he defeated Gouki proves he's a top class fighter. Kai are you gonna go first and do what he said?"

Aichi was really annoyed. So he- "I'll go first!"

"Are you sure about this brother?" Kamui was worried as he remembered what happened. "Aren't you tired like before?"

"I'm fine now. Besides I know I can win."

"Fine with me,do it."

Aichi never felt so pleased before as his idol put his trust in him "Thank you Kai!"

Hime couldn't anything but watch.She can't help but feel that this isn't gonna be pretty. "Well if Kai says so.." she made eye contact with Kai." Are you sure....?"

"I don't know...."

Aichi stepped forward completely confident about winning. "Kai gave me his approval!"

All of his teammates sat down, and to keep the important converstion going Hime and Kai sit near each other. 

"Hime."

"Yah?"

"You're not drunk on that power right?"

"Yah..."

"Then can you-"

Hime caught on. "On it." the weird color on her eyes came back.

A knight delivered the winning blow on cray. 

"I-i saw it. Strange I'm not having headaches now..."

They were interuppted as they hear Kyou laughed his head off. "So Kai Toshiki decided to ran away and send out their weakest fighter?! Look! this is the real Kai who's said to be on equal levels with Ren!" he called out to his teammates.

"Pathetic!"

"That's the best they've got!?"

All three of them laughed.

But Aichi paid no attention to heir insults. "You are going to lose."

"What was that?!"

Aichi scanned his deck like he did last time.

"!! He's activating it again!"

The strange color filled Aichi's eyes as he looked at his deck. And in his view he saw a certain card glow. He grabbed it and showed it to Kyou "I'm gonna use this card to beat you."

"What!?"

Everyone immediatly noticed his strange attitude.

Kamui stood up "Wha...? What are you saying oni-san!?"

Hime, misaki, and Kai said nothing but we're pretty sure their minds are confused right now.

Emi couldn't believe what just happened.

Morikawa didn't notice the change one bit, he was even proud of what Aich did. " A decleration of winning before the match starts. You've learned how to look cool, Aichi! That's my disciple!"

"But Aichi-san is not really that type of person right?"

"AB, yo"

"Um..." Emi couldn't form her words.

Izaki started to think "Now that you mention it."

Miwa couldn't agree more. "He dos seem a little strange." and when he looked at Azami and Ayumi they're white as ghosts. "O-oi! Are you two ok?!"

"H-huh?"

"Y-yah.. We're fine."

Kyou has mixed feelings right now. He's scared at the same  time annoyed and mad. But when he got a closer look at Aichi's card he started to laugh. "I'd double check the card if I were you."

Aichi looked confused (a/n  and he was soooo cute XD)

"Young Pegasus Knight. How do you intend to beat me with a grade 1 card?"

Morikawa heard this and thought of something. "He has a point. That's not good enough to beat someone. How many years have you been my disciple ? Wake up Aichi!!"

Miwa laughed.

Ignoring Morikawa Izaki looked at the card again. "But what does he intend to do with a grade 1 card?"

"Good question. Leaving Lose-umi's comments aside."

"HEY IT'S KATSUMI!!"

Aichi could understand but his confidence didn't wavered, in fact he  just smiled more. "The grade doesn't matter.  I'm gonna beat you with this card. And when I say that, it will definitely happen whether you like or not. "

Kyou saw what he hated the most. Ren was beside Aichi as he smirked. "Calm down! He's just another guy who keeps following Toshiki Kai like a shadow!  What he said earlier was just a bluff to throw me off!"

The judge made his move. "Are you two ready?"

"Yes!"

"Whenever you are." ten he looked at Aichi. "I'm gonna make you regret opening your big mouth."

Ayia was looking outside the window while the other 3 were sitting in the cushion.

"Strange." Suiko murmured.

This caught Kourin's attention. "What is?"

"Him, I don't remember him the type of guy who bluffs."

"Now that you mention it."

Rekka decided  to watch it. "That way it's more fun right?"

"Stand up! Vanguard!"

Blue and red smoke filled the staduim and when it disssappeared it signal the start of the fight.

Aichi was up first and ended up riding Marron, and he also moved Barcgal at the back. "Skill activate, I superior call flogal. End of my turn."

Kyou laughed "That's it? What about Young Pegasus Knight? i thought he's gonna decide the match huh?"

"If you have time to chat use it to proceed your turn."

"What!?"

Morikawa laughed his ass off. "Woah! Aichi's showing him who's boss!"

"What's wrong with Aichi?"

"Maybe he woke up at the wrong side of the bed?"

A serous voice interrupted them. "It's more than that Miwa."

"huh?" he looked beside him and saw Azami and Ayuminot taking their eyes off.

"Talking big to me huh!? The question is how long will he able to keep up?!  I came back from the abyss of hell! Witness my power! The great Kyou rides wonder boy!"

Kamui fell off his seat. "HEY! WHAT'S HE BIG IDEA! I'M THE ON WHO GET'S TO USE THE GREAT KAMUI!!!"

Reiji and Eiji joined in "That's right!!"

"TR! TR! Yo!!"

Kyou moves his starter to the rear guard. Then he starts to fill up his rear guard circle with Assualt Squad. He attacks with his Vanguard first at Marron.

"No guard."

"Drive check."

"Damage check."

Kyou proceeds with his second attack. "No guard."

And by the end of the turn Aichi has 2 damage.

"Stand and draw"

A smile appeared.

This made Kyou more scared now.

"I call-" he placed the card. "Young Pegasus Knight."

Misaki was startled. "Thats-"

"That's the card he was talking about before!!"

Hime whispered. "No...."

Aichi activated once more Barcgal and Llew's counterblast. " Superior ride Blaster blade! Then I activate his skill, for each card tha was put in the soul he gets +3000 power. So now he has additional 12000 power. I call Gallatin! He attacks!"

"Guard!"

"Vanguard is next!"

"No guard!"

Drive check has nothing but Kyou's check had a critcal trigger. 

"That's not enough you know. Pegasus Knight!"

The damage went through.

Morikawa cheered. "Yes! He went through!

"but that was only the second damage."

"Wasn't he over stating it when he said he's gonna win with that card."

"It's too early to say."

"Besides-"

Kyou laughed. "Trying to scare me huh? His skill was just a one time power up. Next turn he'll come back to 6000 power. He nothing more than a grade one card. As I thought, you're all talk!"

Aichi looked at him boredly."We'll see about that."

Kyou backed off a bit.

Even his teammates started laughing. "What's wrong kyou?"

"You scared !?"

"Shut up!   Why!? "  he saw Ren's smile. "Why do I see him?!"

"I end my turn."

"Stay calm, or else I won't get my revenge this way! Don't get distracted that grade 1 has nothing to do with this!"

Kyou proceeded with Black Panther as his Vanguard. Then he also calls dudley dan. "I'm gonna retire that Pegasus Knight of yours!!" he attacks the grade 1 card.

Hime was annoyed. "That guy..."

"What?" Kai asked.

"He could've attacked Gallatin since he has intercept and yet-"

"hahaha!!! This way your prediction is not gonna come true!!"

"GAAH! This is embarassing!!" Morikawa covered his face.

Izaki was shocked. "What's wrong with you?"

"You know!" suddenly he began immitating. "I'm gonna use this car to beat you!!- is what he said!! And now that card is on the drop zone!!"

Azami breathe a sigh of relief. "Wew, looks like we were wrong."

But Ayumi only relaxed a bit. "Yah..."

"This guy is annoying." Miwa raised his fist. "Can I punch him?"

"Sorry man, this is his way of being worried."

Rekka smiled "Aww too bad. It'll be cool if it worked out the way he said you know."

"That just means that he's not that much of a fighter."

"Don't say that." the two looked at Aika, who was still staring out the window.

"That's right."

"What?"

"Look at him. 'the fight is not over yet' his face says it all."

"Hahaha!!! Here I go!!" he attacks with his Vanguard. "Skill activate." he superior call Sky Diver.

Everyone was shocked. " What!?"

"Even though his vanguard is grade 2?!"

"He called a grade 3..."

Morikawa looked at Kyou with admiration. "What a beautiful skill!"

"Morikawa!!"

"Who's side are you on?"

"Attack!"

"no guard!"

"Fine by me. Check." draw trigger. "I give the effects to sky diver, and I draw."

Aichi was calm as ever.

"Go black panther."

And it was followed by another series of attacks and by the end f turn, Aichi drew flogal.

"Haha!!! You wasted that trigger for nothing huh? That's what you get!"

"Tch he has four damage while his opponent has 2." Kamui said worriedly .

"It's still early." Misaki replied.

"I stand and draw." 

A smile. That was enough to make Kyou afraid. "Wait don't tell me!!"

"Enter the fray! Kneel before your king!! I ride King of Knights Alfred!"

Everyone at the audience cheered with joy

"Yoho!!"

"Oooh! Grade 3s are the best."

"Alfred is here!"

Ayumi bit her nail.

"Ayumi?" Azami noticed something was wrong.

"Next I call Marron, Palamedes." and with a smile he continued "And then-"

"N-no way! That card!!!"

"Yes that card. " another-

Hime glared at the sight. "I knew it....Another Knight."

Kamui smiled with joy. "So he had another pegasus Knight!"

Kai hated what he was seeing.

Ayumi broke her nail. "Then-"

Memories came flooding back

"Why the hell would I need you?!"

"Tch get out of here."

"Final turn!!! I'll kill you along with your weakness!!"

She could feel herself barfing. She covered her mouth. This caused panick in the audience.

Miwa stood up. "Ayumi!?"

Azami prepared a plastic "H-hey!"

Ayumi held off her other hand to signal the others she's ok. "I'm fine...." she looked really pale. "Besides." she remebered her sister. "I'm sure she facing this a lot worse than I am."

"Aichi...." her hand is in her heart. "Please, please tell me I'm wrong...."

"I call young pegasus Knight." he smiled and smiled and smiled at his opponent like he was scaring him. "Like I told you, I'm going to beat you with this card."

Even Kai reached his conclusion. "Aichi.. I was right.

"Now please imagine this. You helpless before an overwhelming power.

That was the start of it all. The power he hungered ate him. He lost sight of wha was important. And those who knew what was happening

Couldn't do anything for that boy.
