Last time in Avcv

Kai looked challenging. "You're gonna fight?"

Koutei answered by revealing his deck. " Oh you bet."

Everyone was pumped at seeing two strong fighters their skills.

"Wow, a free ticket. Thanks shin" Ayumi smiled at shin.

"If you're going to fight, then we got the perfect place." Yui lead the way.

Every one followed.

Shin was left dumbfounded."Everyone forgot the luggage...."

They were at the top of the mountain, and when they came to. Koutei and Kai immediately started the fight.

Yui had other plans "We could watch this awesome fight. But then again-" she looked at Aichi and showed her deck. "want to fight?"

"Sure!"

Ayumi, Emi, Hime, and Kiniro followed the two. 

"Stand up Vanguard!"

Kiniro poked Hime "You up for a fight?"

"You bet!"

"Stand up!

The fights started one by one, and they also ended with different winners.

"I lose."

Kai smirked at Koutei.

Izaki was surprised. "No way! The leader of Team Ceasar just lost!!"

"Well, it's Kai."

Koutei held his chin "Maybe I should've intercept in the 7th turn? You knew what was in my hand because of the trigger."

"Yah, it didn't took much to know the rest. The only problem was maintaining the front line."

"I see. Thinking about the cards that I drew I had 80% chance of getting the power I needed on the next turn"

Kai smiled "You forgot that your opponent was using a Kagero deck."

" Oh yah it almost got me. Considering the deck's skills..."

Izaki blinked "I have no idea what they're talking about."

"Agreed. maybe we can understand something if we watch another fight."Miwa looked for Hime.

"Tch, that's the second I lost..." Hime crossed her arms and thought everything . "What was I doing wrong?"

"You kept on using counterblasts, which limited you to certain skills."

"Oh, maybe I should use that card's skill to unflip the cards."

"You also didn't pay attention to my standing skill."

"So i should've attacked you mirace beauty first. Yah that would've been better"

"That's not the only thing you should worry about." Kiniro smirked.

"Yah, that adding 1 crit skill is annoying."

"You should know your opponents strong skill. Your deck was a royal paladin, it depends on the allies set out on the field. So if I took them down-"

"My deck would weakened, and this ending the game."

"Glad we could see eye to eye."

Hime held her chin "Maybe I should change my deck."

"Woah! Even Hime lost to that guy!"

"Yah, the girl who beat one of the Asteriod."

"Why don't we check on the other fights?"

"How is Aichi doing?"

Miwa and Izaki were just in time to see Aichi and Yuri's fight.

"No guard."

Yuri did her twin drive and caught a draw trigger.

"Damage check....No trigger."

Emi sighed sadly. "Aw he lost..."

Yuri studied Aichi. "You wanna try again and redeem yourself?"

Aichi looked up, determined "Yes!"

While the others were fighting, they didn't notice the tired Shin getting up and down trying to get all of the luggage "How ..pant...more..pant.... trips?!"

Suddenly he heard a voice from Emi "Eh?! Again?!" he looked up 

He saw Misaki, clearly irritated. "That was 5 lost in a row. Too many losing..."

"Aichi, maybe you're doing something wrong.."Azami looked at his deck. "...Hmm, I don't seem to recall you making skill combos."

Ayumi agreed. "He needs to fix his deck.."

Yuri tried to speak. "May I see your deck?"

"Sure..."

Aichi was getting nervous by the minute. "How is it?"

"Not bad..."

"It's just..."Yuri's voice trailed off as she got lost in thought.

"just?"

"Well, when it comes to winning image, his deck is behind."

"Winning...image?"

"Well, it's like Tokura's deck. It's main is Tsukuyomi... The cards in there give all their support to make the main stronger." Yuri looked at Kiniro and Hime. "I think your girlfriend is having the same problem."

"I see..." just then aichi processed Yuri's words. He turned a bit red "Yuri-san? Who's my girlfriend?"

Yuri looked confused "Huh? Aren't you and Hime-san are in a relationship?"

Ayumi, Azami, Miwa, and Izaki smiled with sarcasm.Each saying. "I wish."

Aichi refused shaking his head repeatedly . "No! Your wrong, she's  just a friend! A teammate!!!"

  Ayumi, Azami, Miwa, and Izaki , looked at Aichi with sarcasm. "Oh really."

Yuri thought of something "Oh really? Sorry then, my mistake. But I could've sworn you two hang out with each other more than the others. Anyways, Aichi. Do you even have a clear image on how are you going to win?"

"Well..." Aichi grabbed his deck. "Thats..."

Yuri understood. "If you have that winning image. You should be able to understand which cards you need, and which card aren't."

"Right." Aichi was lost in thought...

Until Morikawa pushed him"Alright! It's my turn, the strongest fighter around to fight!"

All of the cardcapital regulars gave him a stare "Yah right."

Guy, who's comepletely clueless, accepted.

Morikawa's voice was loud, but Aichi paid no attention it. He stared at his deck. Wondering what he should do next."Imagine, how I'm gonna win.."

A few hours has passed, each fighter mindin their own  business in order to improve.

"So if I remove this."

"Maybe you should-"

"Oh so that's the problem!"

"Yup."

"Then next time, I should be able to activate this."

"Thats for sure, but maybe you can-"

But there were fighters who didn't changed one bit. "Hahaha! I think that's enough for one day!!" Morikawa laughed loudly.

Miwa sarcastically looked at him "Enough???!"

Izaki laughed. "That was your 13th lost dude."

Morikawa checked his horoscope "shut up! Maybe my horoscope has something to say."

Azami crossed her arms. "An idiot will always be an idiot."

"You can say that again." Ayumi did the same.

Shin called everyone "That's enough cards for one day."

Morikawa knew it was coming "Woah! The beach ofcourse!" he removed his shirt.

"No!"

"Huh?"

Behind them was a load of boxes filled with ingredients. Ayumi and Hime immediatly know what Shin was thinking,

"Think we could make omelets?" Ayumi asked, looking at Hime.

"Hmm, it's dinner. Maybe it's better if we make curry.'

"And the dessert?"

Misaki pulled out the watermelon. "Is this fine?"

Ayumi and Hime both nodded. 

Yuri brought out some mangoes. "These should be great."

"Alright !" Hime stretched her hands. "Let's start!"

Shin chuckled. "Looks like the girls are at it." He looked at the boys. "C'mon, you have to help too."

"Eh?"

"The more, the faster you know."

"Fine."

After a while some were rinsing the rice, and chopping some logs for the fire. 

"Ah!" Aichi slipped the potato.

"Jeez, peel the potato Aichi. Not yourself."

"Sorry I'm just not used to it..."

"Here let me teach you."Hime put herself behind Aichi, and put her hands in his hand to move the knife. It's now like, Hime's hugging him. "Here slowly start at the top, then turn the potato around as you glide the knife down."

"Oh so that's how."

"Yup." Hime removed herself. "Pretty easy right?"

Emi and Ayumi just stared at the two of them. "They're not even embarrassed!!"

On the other side. "I DON'T KNOW WHY, BUT I'M CRYING!!"

"ME TOO!!"

tears flowed out like a dam in Kamui and Morikawa's eyes. Azami and Izaki passed by holding washed out onions. 

"Ofcourse you guys are crying you forgot to remove the strong aura from the onions." Azami noticed someone else. "Wonder how's Kai doing."

Miwa, and Izaki followed her gaze. Only to find the guy chopping so many onions on top speed.

Kai noticed the stares. "What?"

"N-nothing."

"Ok.." he continued chopping.

Izaki and Azami were dumbfounded.

"Guess he has some unexpected talent."  Miwa said.

Izaki realized something "But we don't need vegetables for the curry."

"Onions give a well-seasoned flavor." Kai ended the sentence with an irritated face.

"Haha, don't mind us." Azami laughed it off.

"Ghff!" Kiniro tried to remove the ax.

"That's not how you do it!" Koutei catched the poorly chopped log.

"Sorry, strength's not my field."

Once the preparations were set-

Shin lifted up the pot "Here we go!"

Everyone stared at it with awe.

"Itadakimasu."

Aichi and Emi started eating, while Kamui kept on chomping down the food that Emi. Ayumi kept scolding Hime on how she should've fried the beef. While Kai-

"Could have tasted better with more onions."

Morikwa enjoyed so much. "SECONDS!"

"Get it yourself."

Even team ceasar enjoyed themselves.

When nighttime came-

"The dishes are done!" Aichi called as he look at shin

"The table is also done." Hime cofirmed.

"That mango was surperb!" 

"Alright! Time for the beach!!"

Hime looked at Morikawa "Really?"

"Huh?"

"It's pitch black." Shin pointed at the sky. "See?"

"No!!!" Morikawa started crying. "My beach time!"

Izaki tried to calm him down. "Now now."

"Besides, there's a lot of things more fun at night."

Kiniro emerged from the dark, holding boxes together with Guy, and Koutei. "I've brought out the fireworks!"

Everyone smiled at those words.

They enjoyed litting up fireworks and watch as their lights lit up the starry night.

Once they were all done, all of them took a bath.

"Ah, that was a fresh bath. Right onisan?"

"Yah."

"Aichi!" Emi called from the girl's room. "Did you wash your hair right?"

Ayumi laughed as she looked at Hime "What kind of older brother is he, the younger is like the mom."

Hime laughed sarcastically."Reminds me of a certain someone."

"Don't worry Emi-san. I checked Aichi's hair and his hair is too smooth."

"No problem then."

Aichi and Kamui opened the door when-

TOINK

"Aichi let's have a pillow fight!" Morikawa started to prepare another pillow.

But then suddenly, Shin appeared from the other room. "No pillow fights allowed. We are early tomorrow. And don't forget the swimming."

"GaH! What are you guys waiting for! Go to sleep already and turn off the lights. But not to dark."

...

...

...

"Hmm...Who should be my main card. I'm used to changing my cards so my opponents wont know my tactics... That's why I never really concentrated on any cards..." Hime stared at Arrow Blade. "Well I know she's my main. But sigh I don't really have favorite grade 3's..."

"Maybe I can help?"

Hime turned around. "Aichi! What are you doing here?"

"Uhm.."

"...Want to fix your deck ?"

"Yah.."

"Then why don't we help each other."

 Suddenly a lit lamp popped in the table. "Be careful not stay up late."

"Manager."

"We need to be early tomorrow ok?

"Got it."

"Yup!"

As manager began to walk back to his room, he took one lat look at those two. "They become stronger everyday... Maybe I should help them..." then he yawned. "But it can wait tomorrow..."

...

...

...

"Aichi!"

"Enough! I said I'll talk to you later!"

Ayumi couldn't keep her laugh any longer as she steadied her camera at Aichi. "Emi is that what happens everyday?"

"Not really... Aichi! Stop talking in your sleep!"

Aichi opened his eyes.

"For the love of- Aichi, you're not home!"

"Oh..." suddenly he saw Morikawa and Izaki.

"Emi!"

"Don't talk to me!

Ayumi joined in "I'm a little busy!!"

Aichi blushed "Morikawa-kun!Izaki-kun! Ayumi-san!"

The three of them ran away. Chanting "Emi-chan!"

"Please forget that!"

"No way!!" 

Emi huffed "Well, that just shows that you need me in this trip after all." then she left the room.

It wasn't long after Azami passed by. "Aichi, I think you should wake up Hime."

"Huh? Why me?"

"Just do it."

"Ok..."

Aichi knocked the door three times before going in. "hime-san?"

He saw a beautiful girl in her pajama's sleeping peacefully. He couldn't stand disturbing her sleep. So he decided to her sleep for a few seconds....But then-

Hime opened her eyes. Which met a blue color.

...

It took a second to process it all.

...

Hime jumped out of bed "A-aichi!!! WHat are you doing here?"

Aichi also jumped back. "A-azami said that I should wake you up so-"

"D-did you see me drool?"

"Huh? No...In fact you were pretty beautiful when you sleep...Not at all."

"Oh, good. "hime looked relieved. "Why don't you go outside and wait for me to get change ok?"

"Ok."

When Hime was done he gave Aichi his blaster blade. "What? How?"

"When I checked my deck last night, arrow blade was gone and blaster blade was there. I guess we kinda replaced them."

"Oh, then." Aichi gave Hime her avatar when he found it. And by the time they came to, they were in the dining room.

"Ohayo.."everyone greeted.

"Ohayo.."

"You two are pretty late."

"Yah."

"We stayed up pretty late."

All of them started eating the same food as last night. And when they were done-

"All right who's up for-" Shin's question was cut off by Morikawa

"THE BEACH!!"

They got ready and when they did, they went to seperate places to check the place out. of course Kai and Koutei were still in the game. 

Ayumi, Hime and Azami did a little swimming. Kamui and the others got wrapped up in the training and didn't even bothered to swim. Misaki and the others were on the boat checking out the view. 

Ayumi together with Emi and Misaki made a sand castle.

Azami, with Hime, Miwa and guy tried to play beach volleyball

And they all went together to play a little game where Emi won.

Once lunch was set, every on gathered and ate together. But the real excitement was after the lunch.

"Woah!! You own this manager!" Hime was amazed by what she saw. 

"This is my card collection. You can borrow them if  you want."

All of them pushed manager back, and grabbed their cards.

"Th-that's mine you know..."

Aichi even recieved Royal Paladin cad from Shin.

"Try to give that winning image a chance, you know?"

All of them went outside to use a bigger table, since all of them want to change their decks.

Aichi was talking to himself...

...

...

...

when it happened.

"Aw man, I don't know what to do with these cards...."

Somebody whispered. "Aichi~ Sendou Aichi~"

Aichi opened  and looked aroud,but nobody seemed paid attention to him. He was shocked when an idea crossed his mind.

"Don't tell a card was-"he shook his head. "No maybe I'm just tired. "

"Sendou Aichi!!!"

And then there was a strange light in his eyes.

But he wasn't the only one who felt it.

Hime's eyes widened as she felt the power in her eyes. "Huh..?"

"Our leader, Sendou Aichi!!"

Aichi closed his eyes with the sudden light, and when he opened them he was already on another place.

"What is this?"

Then he heard horses. So he turned around. All fellow royal paladins were there smiling at him. Then a girl stepped up with a whipper in her hand. She whistled, then a dog came to her side. The dog howled and then-

Hime felt great wind. "cray..."She looked around. "What am I doing here? I didn't activate it.." but when she looked up, she saw Soul Saver Dragon above her. "Huh?" she looked at it's direction,  and saw a blurred man standing."Who are you?" but she was at different part of cray when she finished talking.

"Arrow?"

Aichi was amazed by what he saw. He looked at his deck again. 

"Aichi." Yuri walked closer "Looks like you finished building your deck. Wanna try again?"

Aichi was surprised, he didn't remember building his deck. But- "Ok!"

Hime however separated herself and went inside the cottage to drink water. Ayumi and Azami noticed this so they excused themselves, and followed her.

Hime sighed as she put down her water. She closed her eyes. "Arrow gave me a winning image. But i didn't activate it. What could've triggered it..."

"Ne-chan"

"Huh? Ayumi, Azami.."

"What's wrong?"

"Are you ok?"

Hime crossed her arms, and looked serious as she started talking. "Well I was fixing my deck with Shin's new cards. And then something strange happened."

"What strange?"

"It happened."

The two were shock by her words "It..happened. Again? "

Azami's face was serious "What happened."

"Well, Arrow gave me a winning image..."

"Is that all?"

"No... I also saw Soul Saver pass by."

This time, the two's eyes were widened.

"Soul..."

"Saver.... Are you sure it was him?"

"Yah, I'm pretty sure I saw him. That's the only thing I know I saw."

Ayumi and Azami exchange glances.

Ayumi spoke first. "But one-chan...Aichi's the only one who got that card."

Hime bumped the cup and it was smashed on the floor.

"Hime-chan!!"

"...Aichi?" she managed to mutter the words. She shook her hand. "N-now that I think about it, m-maybe it wasn't soul saver dragon. Maybe another dragon perhaps?" 

Azami gave Hime a worried look. "Hime, I'll clean this up. "

"Huh? O-ok..." she stepped back. "I-i gotta go."

Azami and Ayumi were the only one left.

"Azami-chan..." she held her hand in her chest. "What she said earlier..."

"Yah..."

  "Yah, I'm pretty sure I saw him. That's the only thing I know I saw." 

"She was pretty sure of it, but when she heard that it was Aichi, she took it back..."

Both of them stared at the floor and couldn't say another word.

  Azami started walking but-   

"What if Aichi really is-"  Ayumi didn't manage to say the words.

"No." she stopped walking "We don't have any proof. Beside we didn't see any symptoms of it on him."

"But what if he really has it?" Ayumi's voice was so weak and worried, you can hardly tell it's Ayumi at all...

"...." Azami choose her words carefully. Then she looked at Ayumi. "Then we have to prepare ourselves. We might experience the same pain again..."then she walked towards the storage room to start cleaning the cup.

Ayumi remembered the time when Hime screamed during the regionals. Tears start to well up...

"Aichi was there too..."

...

...

...

Kiniro knocked at Hime's door.

"Huh? " she hurried up to open it. "What is it?"

"You wanna fight with my new deck?"

"I-"

but she was cut off when she felt a mild wind.

"...Fine wait outside."

After the fight, Hime got her first win from Kiniro.

"Woah Kiniro what happened to you!" Koutei came from behind.

"Haha, I guess her new cards did the trick."

"Hi Koutei." Hime waved "You wanna be next?"

"I'll pass, I had too much cardfight today. I'd rather eat lunch right now."

"Well, ok."

Kiniro and Koutei met up with Yuri and Guy.

"Sendou Aichi sure is growing."

"What do you mean Yuri?"

"Forming that deck in one day. That boy has talent."

"I had the same experience with Hime-san"

Guy smiled "Guess we have 2 more members to worry about, other than Kai."

Koutei looked at each member "Team Princess Quadrigfolio. Maybe they're the ones were looking for."

Kiniro put his arms on his head. "It's a great idea that we invited them here."

Before they know it was time to go. Each team said their goodbyes. And then the van began to move out.

After a while everyone fell asleep. With the two users side by side, the next tournament shall be taking an interesting turn.
