"Arrow Blade attacks!!

"No guard."

"Winner! Team PQ4!!"

And with that Team PQ4 might stand a chance in passing the elimination.

"So Team asteriod finished their matches and won both of them..." Aichi looked at the pamphlet again "We have to win another 2 fights in order to make it pass the elimination round, and then Kamui will have a place to return to."

Kamui was  few tables away. "Bro..."

Morikawa stood up "Aichi! Do you have any idea who you are fighting against?"

"Yah... The last years national champions.

Hime and Kai were on the other table but they can hear everything, Miwa was beside them and saw there faces "Maybe they'll have beginners luck?"

"Do you really think you can win?" Izaki asked

"We may not win..."

Hime agreed with him in her head. 

"But I want to."

Hime and Kai smiled along with Misaki.

 "That's the spirit  my number one pupil!" Morikawa bragged

Miwa looked at Kai " Do you even have a chance on winning?"

"I just my own match." Kai said as he drank his coffee

Their fighting spirits were broken by a laugh. "You really think you can beat us?"

Everyone turned their directions towards the coming team.

"Yeah, you? Beat, us? Seriously." Asaka crossed her arms

"It's your first time here and you think you can beat us?" Kyou scoffed "What nonsense."

Aichi stood up "H-hold on! We'll see when we fight!"

Hinagiku walked up "Oh please boy, I saw you lose against some low some teams you think you can beat a champion?"

Aichi was lost for words, but Hime sood up for him. "Hina. Let our skills decide not our mouth. I hate your blabbering."

"Oh I'm sorry princess, trying to defend your prince?"

"Why you!!"

Kai spoke up admist of the fight "Tetsu, where's Ren?"

"Like I told you before. He's not participating in the elimination round. "

Asaka butted in "Ren's time isn't worth it in the elimination round. We can handle it ourselves."

Hime grinned "Or is he just scared losing."

"Don't you dare speak like that for Ren-sama!"

"Are you so interested in Ren because you two used to be on the same team?" then she looked at HIme " You are soo frustrated at HInagiku because that also applies to you?"

Everyone had their mouths open 

"Kai? Hime? Is that true?" Aichi asked, looking for answers.

"Ren, ren ,ren. What's so great about him?" 

"Kyou, a little respect to our leader."

"Shut up Asaka. I can say whatever I want."

"That's enough. "Tetsu said shutting down the topic. " Anyway you can't  beat us."

"Ren and Kai. Hime and Hinagiku...."

Kai stood up and exited the scene.

As Hinagiku with her team was about to reach the gates, Ayumi and Azami were about to enter.

"So I'm like, GUARD! But no! She didn't listen and then-" Azami stopped once she saw Hina. "Hina..."

Ayumi also noticed her. But the Asteroid girl ignored them both. "Let's leave her."

"But-" 

Suddenly they saw Hime exit the doorway 

Both of them were speechless "What happened?"

Team Asteroid enters the room "Ren, we won our two fights. Only one remains." Tetsu stated

"....anything else?" Ren asked, bored

Asaka tried to speak "The team we're fighting-"

"That's all master Ren." Hinagiku stopped her

"Yes." Tetsu agreed.

Both Kyou and Asaka looked at the two. "Huh?"

They left the room "Hey Tetsu why didn't you say anything about Kai?" but Tetsu just walked off.

"Silent treatment huh? What a jerk. How about you Hinagiku-"

"Sorry guys I got to pee BYEE!"

And so the match of Asteroid and PQ4 started

"My cheering is the strongest here so thanks to that you guys will win!" morikawa said

"Seriously?"

"First match, Kai Toshiki vs. Kyou Yahagi. 

Ren's hands flinched "So you're here...Kai. Heh the two of them, tried to keep it."

"Ren hates him.Or more accurate, he despises him. Tetsu and I knew that well." Hinagiku thought catching Tetsu's eyes

"That's why we can't let him know." 

"heh, beating you will prove that crusher Kyou is the strongest among us!"

But Kai wasn't paying any attention "I see so he is here."He saw the red hair guy way above him

Kyou was mad "Hey! I'm your opponent! Judge anytime now!"

"Begin!"

Kai started with Bahr and Kyou with Wonder Boy.

"The  Great Kyou attacks!

Kamui was shocked  "That's Kamui's catchphrase!" Nagisa shouted

Kai proceeded calling 3 more rearguards. "Nehalem attacks!" then he attacked one more but Kyou guarded.

"The great Kyou rides black panther! Call, Brakki and devil summoner. Summoner's skill, if I flip a gr 1 or 2 card I can do a superior call. I call assault squad!" Kyou attacked 3x, but Kai blocked one .

"Draw. Image it, this is my true form. I ride the THE  vanguard! Dragonic Overlord! Counterblast."

"There it is! Kai's pattern to victory!"

"Boosted by bahr, Overlord attacks!"

"Cheer girl Tiara, Silence Joker, and Dudley Dan. Guard!"

"So if he pulled a trigger, he'll be protected against it.'" Hime thought

"Check the drive trigger.Critical trigger, but even if I put this Overlord it'll be useless.All effects to Archdragon."

"I don't believe it! His victory pattern was shut down!" Miwa shouted

"Things aren't looking good for Kai" AYumi murmured

"haha! That was your trump card wasn't it?! Since that needed 3 cards for a counterblast the next time you'll have 3 cards is when you have 6 damage! You'll never use that ability again! Come and get me!"

"Blazing core attacks Brakki."

"Intercept."

"Why is he guarding a rear guard?" Emi asked

"To keep the strongest on the field."

"Archdragon attacks."

"No guard, 1st, 2nd. Draw trigger. heh, my turn. HERE'S  MY CRUSH RUSH!"

"Crush...."

"...rush?"

"Kai! Be careful here it comes!!"

"Haaha! The sky is my field, The great me rides Sky Diver! Mech Trainer's counerblast, I search for any grade 1 or less. Call dudley dan! Sky Diver attacks! Then skill activate counterblast and put one card to the soul then I superior call another grade 1 or less"

by the end of turn Kai was at 5 damage since Kyou called another grade one. It almost got Kai.

"Yikes! That almost got Kai!"

"If he doesn't settle it this turn, he's done for !" Izaki commented

"But how many cards does Kai have?"

"ZERO!"

"Draw. I attack." Kai made brakki out of the field "Attack."

"Perfect Guard."

"Twin drive. First second, heal trigger. Effect to archdragon. I heal one damage."

"Tch."

"Attack."

"No guard. Damage (nt). Draw...Heh, Final turn."Kyou said."That's what you and Ren always say right?"

"Sky diver attacks with a boost then counterblast. Superior call."

Morikawa started to panick "WAAH IT'S OVER!"

"Quiet down!"

"Is it really over?" Asaka asked

"In a showdown you won't really know until the end." Tetsu answered

Hinagiku was silent "Knowing Kai he will..."

 "Guard with Genjo."

"Twin drive, 1st, 2nd critical trigger. Juggernaut receives and attacks! I drop one card from the soul so he could gain 5000."

"Guard with Tahr, and intercept"

"If he could just guard against that attack." Misaki said

"...No guard."

The team was pretty shocked. "Why? If he's hit with Sky Diver's attack..."

"Kai's got a plan."Aichi realized

Hime smiled because he seem to understood what his teammates is thinking.

"Skill activate superior call and attack!"

"Guard with Iron Tail."

"Brakki returns. End."

Hinagiku stood up "Tetsu, I'm going."

Tetsu nodded " Asaka get ready."

"Final turn. Why do you think I let myself get attacked by Sky Diver?"

"Why?? He has 5 damage...No way!"

"Dragonic Overlord's Counterblast. With a boost from Bahr.He attacks!"

"Don't tell me...I'm gonna lose?!"

"everytime he attacks a rear guard he stand up again.Attack!"

"Sonic Breaker and BLack Panther guard!"

"Drive Trigger check.Archdragon attacks!"

"I-I'm gonna lose!" 

Ren smirked behind the glass "Hmph."

"Winner, Team PQ4. Kai Toshiki!"

"Naturally. "suddenly Ren stared at Kyou with a smile on his face 

Kyou felt this and ran away from the battlefield. Misaki replaced Kai "Nice fight."

Once Kai sat down-" The fight has just begun.  There's no doubt that those 3 are stronger than the one i just fought."

Hinagiku came back with a drink "Tetsu did Ka-" she saw Kyou trembling in the seat "siiiipp. Never mind."

"Second match. Tokura MIsaki vs. Narumi Asaka."

"I'll you one thing.  You can't beat me, not with that deck."

Misaki was strike with a knife.Then she glared back to Asaka.

"She'll take those back! No one insults my deck.  No one!"
