"...ok" that's all I said before focusing at my sister's match "When she screams, that means somebody nearby will use the same ability. But that wouldn't happen, right?"

"Right?"

The cardfighting arena was covered in smoke once more. Two girls are standing, facing each other to give everything they got.

"Star Healer, Bless!!" (appearance: her hair is like katara from the avatar, but her height is small, wears earrings shape like stars.)

"Sunshine Trumpeter!Huh?" confusion was spread on Hime's face "Is that...bermuda??"

"Yup!" Miyuki said cheerfully "Aren't they cute?!" (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

"Uh...sure. But I was expecting you to use Granblue deck, like Gouki and the others..."

"ME!!? Use those ugly pirate zombies?!"

Hime was shocked by her words

"*shrugs* Ugh... ehem. I won't use those ugly pests, have you seen those faces?! They're horrible!"

Suddenly, an ominous aura came from Gouki. "!! O-ok, we get it..."Hime said, preventing her rival from saying anything that would cause an uproar.

"Ok! Good! Now...where was I?? Ah! Ok, I ride Star Dancer rhythm! I move bless at the back row due to her skill! I end my turn!"

"Ok, draw...(apprentice Archer Aiko.) Hmm... I ride Gatherer of Archers Clarisse! I call Aiko and Sabrina at the back, I also call Keeper of Bows Alei at the front row."

Miyuki was confused by Hime's actions "Why is she calling triggers? She could save them for defense later..." she stared at Hime' face " Maybe she's out of cards?"

"Boosted by Sabrina, Alei attacks." Hime said, fiercely

"...No guard. Damage (nt)"

"My Vanguard attacks boosted by Aiko!"

"No guard..."

"Drive trigger check. Leader of bows, Akako. Stand trigger, I stand Alei."

"Damage trigger check, (nt)"

"And she attacks again!!"

"Oh no you dont! I guard with Water Queen, red!" Miyuki shouted revealing a card from her hand

"That's a draw trigger. I end my turn."

"Phew... man that was close. After seeing Kai and Kaoru fight, I assume her strength is near Kai. I MUST NOT LET MY GUARD DOWN. " Miyuki thought, as she glared at Hime

"Heh, what's with the scary face?" Hime said as a smirk appeared on her face

"Nothing. Just thinking how I should not let my guard down around you."

"Same here"

"Wow.. The atmosphere here is intense!" Miwa exclaimed, sounding impressed

"Those girls are scary.."Reiji added

"SG, yo..."

"Glad to hear it then. Draw (Star Idol Rhythm.) Perfect. May your beautiful voice fill the heaven and earth, I ride Star Idol, Leign!"

"So almost all of her units have the name Star?" Hime thought "Leign has 9000 power..."

"I call Rhythm in the front row!"

"huh? Another Rhythm?"

"I activate Leign's skill! When Rhythm is in the field she gains 3000 power!"

"That's 12000..."

"Rhythm, attacks your Vanguard!"

"No guard... Damage check.... No trigger"

"My Vanguard Leign,attacks!"

"..............tch"

"Drive trigger check," Miyuki said as she revealed the card "Star Idol Melody. no trigger"

"Definitely that card has no trigger" But HIme's eyes didn't flinched " But why the hell is she smirking? Damage check , No trigger"

"I end my turn"

"I stand and draw (Archer of the golden bow, Eloise) I ride Archer of Golden Bow, Eloise!! I call Archer of Silence Kaimelie and reader of future Mirai, Alei retires."

"What the-? That was weird. In Vanguard no matter what the circumstances are, you want to keep the ones with the higher power...But that was weird, Hime retired Alei instead of sabrina sitting at the back row. She could just retire Sabrina and move Alei at the back instead...So why??" Miyuki's thoughts were suddenly interrupted by Hime's voice

"Boosted by Sabrina, Mirai attacks with a total of 13000!"

"I guard with Water Barrier Chord!" Miyuki said, revealing a grade one card to Hime

" Next my Vanguard attacks boosted by Aiko."

"No guard."

"Trigger check, Critical trigger!" Hime shouted with glee as she reveals Bringer of Love Sabrina to Miyuki.

"Curses. Damage, first check (nt) second check (Water Queen, Red) Draw trigger! I draw one card.... Mistress of Waves, Cadence huh?"

" Kaimelie attacks!"

" I must guard!! If I don't I will have 5 damage already!! I guard with Guardian of Ripples, Carol!"

"....I end my turn" Hime said, a calm expression on her face.

The audience was captivated by the fight of the two

"Wow...Hime's really strong" Aichi whispered in his mind.

"...Hime's really beating Miyuki up." Kamui thought, a shocked expression in his face

While the two are having thoughts, Kai and Misaki just watched the fight with arms crossed, not a glimpse of their feelings on their faces.

"Tch, " Miyuki glanced at the damage zones " Hime has 2 damage while I have 4. Tch I have to kick it up a notch. I stand and draw, Princess of water Harmony. ok! May the stars guide your ways! I ride!!"

A strange light suddenly appeared at the arena

"Star Guardian!! Mizu!!" A mermaid,holding a golden stance with an orb surrounded by stars, wearing a star patterned cloth undergarment and a stunning crown, suddenly appeared

"...." Hime began to narrow her eyes in frustration.

"I call Princess of waters, Harmony and Leign-"

"Another one?! First Rhythm, now Leign?! Who's next? Bless?! Tch, she must have a plan. I must save some defense"

"Rhythm moves back, next I call another Rhythm at the back of Harmony."

"What?! She just used 3 Rhythms!"Hime thought, not hiding her shocked expression

"Boosted by Rhythm, Harmony attacks your Vanguard, with a total of 16000!!!"

"...No guard"Hime said, snatching a card from her deck and putting it at the damage zone

"Next Mizu attacks!!"

".........."

"C'mon sister..." Ayumi said nervously. "guard!"

"................."Hime paused for a moment, thinking carefully about her next move but suddenly the strange color came back to her eyes "!!!.....That's what will happen huh?Well, somebody spoiled the fun.... No guard"

Kamui stood up from his seat "what?! But if that girl gets 2 critical triggers-!!"

"...It's over" Aichi finished

"What's more, that girl hasn't drawn any critical triggers yet..." Misaki whispered

"heh, I get it, she's making a gamble. First check *Smirks*"

"Tch"

"Water master, Yellow. A critical trigger." Miyuki said, a confident smile appearing on her face. "Now for the second check."

"C'mon! Don't pull a trigger!" Reiji chanted, clearly being nervous at what's happening

"NT yo!"

"One-chan...."

Miyuki is having fun at her surroundings. "Heh all of them are nervous about me pulling a trigger" But then all of her confidence fade when she saw Hime not flinching one bit. "Is she... bored?! how dare she-?!"

"...Go on, check the second..." Hime said, boredom on her face

"Tch! Oh I will check the second!!!" Miyuki furiously grabs the card at the top of her deck "Second check!" but when she revealed it- "......heh."

Color drained from Aichi's face "But that's-!!"

Kamui shaped his hands into fists "Water Queen, Yellow... The second critical trigger... We're done for!"

"AAnd there you have folks! A second critical trigger has landed on Miyuki's check! Is this the end for PQ4?!" the MC shouted not hiding the excitement in his face.

"What are you gonna do now Utsukushii?" Miyuki cackled "You're done for!"

"...If you say so." Hime whispered, but then she suddenly mumbled "But we're not yet done, checking the damage triggers, are we?" a smirk finally appearing on her face "Damage trigger check, the first...(nt)...second...(nt)"

"Oh no! One more and she's done for!" Izaki blurted out

"Tch, it's because she doesn't have enough grade 3s"

"C'mon Utsukushii.... you can do this" Miwa added

"And the third..."

"Yiieee, I can't look!!" Kamui thought

"And with this, Team Handsome will go to nationals once again" Miyuki boasted in her thoughts but then-

A blinding light was emitted from Hime's deck and when she revealed her top card- "Savior of Archers, Kiyoko. I give the power to my Vanguard, and I heal one damage."

The whole audience went in chaos due to the turn of events

"My word! Ms.pirate got 2 criticals, but in return the princess of PQ4 got a heal trigger! This is intense!!"

Aichi and Kamui both breathed a sigh of relief "I thought she was done for" Aichi mumbled

"You said it brother"

"Stop giving me a heart attack sis!!" spat Ayumi in frustration

"Now now..."Azami chuckled

"Tch...you're lucky that you drew a heal trigger but I still have one more attack! Boosted by Rhythm, Leign attacks your Vanguard, a total of 29000!! Due to the triggers, her power is up to 29000! "

Hime began to grab cards from her hand "I guard..."

"What the-?! She has enough shield!!? Tch, I end my turn"

"I stand and draw. Sure it's nice to know the outcome once in a while, but the game will turn out boring for me if this keeps on happening... Love will forever be our guide...I ride Archer of Love, Aika !!"

"....Archer of love, Aika ? "

"I activate Aika's skill, I check the top card of my deck and grab a card and put it in my hand." Hime quickly scans the 5 cards and showed "Archer of courage, Kenta."

".........but that is a stand trigger, normally people would leave those behind for more chance of power and the trigger's skill. But why-...There's only one thing," a hit of realization crosses Miyuki's face" she MUST have a plan like me ."

Hime put back the cards on her deck and began to shuffle "Next I call Kenta at the back. Great! now all of them are on the field! Aika's skill activate! I counterblast one and she gains 10000 if I have 3 triggers on the field!!"

"....I knew it!!"

"Boosted by Sabrina, Mirai attacks!!"

"i guard with Carol!"

"Next boosted by Aiko, my vanguard attacks!"Hime shouted, full of passion

"Heh, if she think that skill could throw me out, she's done for! I guard!!"

"Tch, drive trigger check! The first..dang it no trigger! I need one more!!" Hime blurted

"One more? what is she talking about??"

"Second check! Yes!! Draw trigger!! I give the power to my Archer, and draw Perfect! Good thing she defended herself "

"What is that big grin for? She got a lot of defense is that it?"

"Next Boosted by Kenta, Kaimelie attacks!"

"No guard.Damage check (nt)"

"Then I end my turn." Hime beamed, grinning ear to ear.

"Why the hell is she satisfied? She's not a winner yet...I stand and draw."

both of the players are at 5 damage each, the next action could decide the outcome of the match

"Heh"Miyuki glanced at Hime "Time to show what I'm made off! I call Cadence! I counterblast one, to activate her skill. I return one card from my field and in return i get to call one card from my soul."

"Let me guess..It's Bless isn't it?" Hime calculated

"I return Harmony, and call the star healer, bless!!! Now everything's on place! I activate Mizu's skill "Miyuki flipped two cards "If Bless, Rhythm, and Leign are on the field and I returned one card from my field. Mizu gains 10000 power AND plus one critical." MIyuki said confidently

"A critical?!"Aichi said in shock

"And a 10000 power?! Hime has 5 damage already!!" Kamui added

"...She doesn't have that much cards in her hand..." Misaki mummbled

"You're done for, Hime Utsukushii"

"..."Suddenly Hime broke into a smile "We'll see."

"Tch! Boosted by rhythm, bless attacks!"

"I guard" Hime said, revealing a draw trigger

"Next is my Vanguard! She attacks!! That's a total of 21000! and a critical trigger! And I still have one attack left! Just give up Utsukushii!!"

"...Not so fast, I guard with Goddess of Walls Celeste!" Hime dropped a card on her drop zone and she looked at miyuki who's face is in shock "A perfect guard."

"She has a card like that?! I clearly didn't calculated that! First check! water apprentice blu! Stand trigger! I stand Bless and I give the power to her as well!2nd check! (nt) tch. Next is bless attacking Mirai!"

"No guard..."

"And then boosted by Rhythm, Leign attacks!! Make it through dang it!"

"And this is it, I guard "Hime said, revealing 2 cards

*sigh..*"Well I guess that's it for me then... I end my turn..."

"Did hime just did that?!" Izaki shouted in surprise

"She didn't recieved any attack...."Reiji added

"HIC yo!"

"I guess this is the last turn, " Hime glanced at Miyuki "Nice playing with you Miyuki. Thanks"

"That's Hime's final turn signal..."Azami whispered

"Yah..." Ayumi nodded

"Same to you Hime, but I will fight until the end, ok?"

"Got it. I stand and draw... I activate Aika's skill!" Hime began to reveal 3 triggers in her hand "When I have 3 triggers both at my field and at my hand she gains 10000 power and plus one critical!"

"Tch, again?!"

"I call my Avatar! Arrow Blade to the front row! At least you showed up."Hime beamed "Boosted by Kaimelie, Kenta attacks!"

"I guard!!" Miyuki answered

"Next is my Vanguard booosted by Aiko!!!"

Miyuki didn't gave up"I guard and intercept with Leign!!"

"oh no!! "Kamui shouted

"If only hime can pull a trigger

"Twin drive check the first, (nt)..."

Everybody waited nervously as hime checks the cards

"....C'mon!"

"Draw a trigger please!!

"We need to win!"

"You don't need grade 3 now Hime! you need a trigger!!"

Hime closed her eyes for a moment *inhale,exhale* "Second check" then there was a pause

A look of dismay passed Team Handsome's faces

"Hehe, it's my win this time, " hime smirked, revealing a stand trigger

"...It's my lost then." Miyuki smiled as she revealed her 6th damage

"And the winner is Hime Utsukushii of Team PQ4!!"

Everybody cheered at Hime's victory, the crowd went wild. Miyuki ignored the crowd and went to Hime and extended her hand for a shake

"Nice!" Miyuki said, completely back at her normal self

"Hehe, I like you smiling all the time, than being serious." Hime said as both of them shake hands happily

"I hear those words all the time. by the way, That deck of yours is really hard ya know? You have to grab triggers all the time, isn't it hard? It's like you have to know what's coming in order to control a deck like that.'

suddenly hime started to look gloom "Exactly" she mumbled

"What?"

Hime quickly covered her face with a smile "no! Nothing, I know it's hard to control it, that's why I'm gonna make some changes in the nationals. I have only 16 triggers after all..."

"Hehe, oh and one more advice, if you have cards that have skills like those, you should keep a poker face, you know what I mean?"

"haha, yeah.."

Both of their thoughts with suddenly interrupted by a warm hug "Nice Hime! You did it! You won!" Kamui exclaimed

"Haha yeah."

"Congratulations Hime!" Aichi beamed

"Don't congratulate me yet, you still have a fight you know?" hime said teasingly

"She's right, sendou"

Everybody looked at source of the voice

"No more romance novels for you Miyuki!!" Nagisa annouced as she stuck her tongue out

"no! b-but, I'll be at my grave tomorrow if I don't read anything!" Miyuki cried, suddenly on her knees

"Don't worry, I'll ask Azami if she could lend you any." Hime whispered, careful not to let Gouki and the others know

"Y-you're a savior!!"

"Haha..."^_^'
