Swap!Doc's POV:

The staircase was dark, but I had night vision so I was able to see my way down the steps. Impulse was on Ren's back due to how he couldn't see in the dark. He let out a sigh.

 " How long until we're down in the basement?" he whispered as I shrugged. We all kept walking down the stairs as the spiral staircase descended down into the basement. 

 I stopped as we reached the bottom of the staircase. Ren gently let Impulse off of his back. The three of us lowered ourselves to the ground as I looked into the large room. 

 The sound of Cub mumbling came from the other side of the room. I looked back of the others, " I didn't think about Cub being down here." I sighed as Ren and Impulse frowned.

 " I didn't realize it either...." Ren sighed as he cocked his head to the side.

 " We're a bunch of sporks." he huffed as his tail twitched. 

Impulse let out a small laugh, " We are." he shook his head. 

 The three of us watched as Cub took his armor off, " I don't even get why I put the armor on. The crystal powers me, so I don't need the stupid protective armor." he hissed as he put his armor into his inventory. Cub walked off into another room. 

 I waved for the two to follow me as we searched the area. The hall was empty except for the large machine that started this whole mess and two doors of either side of the hall near the machine. Ren decided to watch the door on the right to watch out for Cub in case he returned. Impulse said he'd investigate the machine and try to break it down. I went for the door on the left.

The door was obviously locked because nothing was easy on this server. I walked around the perimeter of the room trying to find some way in before I forced my way through the door. 

 The only thing I noticed was that there was a long window on the room. I narrowed my eyes and looked through the window. I took a step back, " I found the others guys!" I sharply whispered as I looked back through the window. 

 Impulse let out a cough due to the dust of the room, " What happened to them?" he questioned as I blinked staring into the dark room. 

 The doppelgängers were all against the wall across from the window. Each of them were hooked up by ropes to the wall. I blinked and noticed something. 

 Mumbo was still awake. 

 The other Mumbo was struggling in his binds and trying to nudge the other Grian over to awake him. He was saying something to him with tears forming in his eyes until eventually his head started to droop again. 

 I looked back at Impulse, " They're all almost unconscious. I think Cub must have used a vapor poison of harming, weakness, and tranquilizer." I believed as Impulse looked at me, " Is that even possible?" he questioned as I shrugged and banged on the window. 

 Mumbo jolted awake and shouted something, but I couldn't hear it. He was breathing heavily as his mouth and nose started to bleed. He looked down at the others with a tired look as he passed out again.

 I walked back to the door, " How's investigating the machine going?" I looked at Impulse as he sighed.

" No luck." he pointed to his cyborg eye.

 " I've probably scanned this stupid thing twenty times... This thing has a weird energy vibrating off of it, and I can't figure out where the crystal is." his sighing turned into a tired growl. Impulse joined me by my side. 

 I looked at the door, " Do you think you can hack your way through the lock on this door?" I questioned him as he nodded, " Seems like a piece of cake." he smirked as he tapped his robotic eye. Impulse scanned the device and after a few minutes the door clicked open. 

 He looked up at me with a large grin, " Finally something I could figure out." he laughed as he stood up and walked back to let me go ahead of him. 

 I let out a light laugh, " Did the machine give you a hard time?" I patted him on the shoulder and Impulse nodded. I turned the nob letting it click. I put my clawed hand on the door and gently pushed the door open with a soft creak. 

 I entered the dark room.

 " Keep this door open no matter what." I whispered to Impulse as he nodded standing in the doorway. 

 I walked over to the other Mumbo due to how he was the only one still awake previously. I put my hand on his shoulder.

 " Hey... Other Mumbo...?" I whispered as I gave his shoulder a light shake.

 Mumbo groaned as he picked his head up.

 " Doooccc? No.... Other... Other Doc.... Please.." his voice was weak as he looked at the others, " Get Grian and the others out of here...." he whispered as he blacked out completely.

 I looked at Impulse, " We need to call the others here. Our counterparts are incredibly weak." I told him as he nodded. 

 Impulse tapped the side of his head again, " Wels, Get the others out here to the club. We found the others and things aren't looking good." he reported as he nodded his head, " They're on the way." he told me quickly as he crossed his head. 

 I was leaving the room when Ren's voice came from outside the room.

 " Cub incoming!" he sharply whispered as he took out his sword. I left the room and closed the door into the prison room. 

 The three of us ran and hid behind the giant machine.
