Dipper walks up the pathway and reaches for the doorknob, but the door opens to reveal Mabel, Candy and Grenda.

"So, you took the journal like I wouldn't find out?" Mabel says.

"Sorry, I'm curious about Gravity Falls." Dipper replies.

"Curiosity killed the cat, brother. Grenda." Grenda goes up and punches him in the stomach, the journal falls out of his bag and Mabel retrieves it. "Remember what happened last time?" The three girls leave him doubled over from Grenda's strong punch.

"Yes," he says silently reaching up to the white streak in his hair. He pulls himself up and goes to his room. He goes to his desk and pushes everything off.

"Hey! What are you doing!"

"Nothing Stan." Dipper replies as he throws himself on his bed. He grabs the amulet and controls the things that he threw off of the desk and puts them back as they were. He asks himself "Why can't I ever stand up to that wretched sister of mine? Bullying me at school, blaming me for her mistakes. Ever since she found that book she's become even worse to the point where she has her friends beat me up. And now I'm insane because I'm talking to myself. And all because of that stupid journal." He says. "The Journal."

Dipper goes down the stairs only to see Bud Gleeful sitting with Stan.

"Stan," he starts "why is this fool here?"

"We were compromising the future of the Mystery Shack and Tent of Telepathy, as a team."

"I'm not even going to deal with this." Dipper says walking to the door.

"Dipper, where are you going?" Stan says

"To town." he says walking out the door. He leaves his neighborhood and enters the library. He goes to the mystery section and tries to find something similar to the journal. Disappointed, he decides to leave the library only to bump into someone.

"Sorry, I wasn't paying attention." He says picking up the fallen books. He looks up to see Pacifica.
