Selene's POV                   August 30 1985

I groaned as I rolled over and grabbed the phone with lidded eyes and a scowl

"Hello." I snarlled

"You have school brat." I sat up as Lupa ran in

"I know. I would finish school and you'd leave me alone for good." I spat and hung up I got up and grabbed some black cargo pants and put on a cropped AC/DC shirt and put on my leather combat boots and studded belt. I fixed up my hair slightly but it still was my bed head and I applied my black eye liner and eye shadow and put my skull choker on

"Lupa down." I told my wolf dog. I fed Lupa and put my leather jacket on. I grabbed my messenger bag I had covered in patches of my favorite bands and went to my car.

"Man I got to give you a bath." I said as I turned my car to start. the 67' chevy Impala engine  purred to life. I looked at the map on where the school is

"New town first day of school and its the same for the rest of the town. Gods." I grumbled and made my way to Hawkins High School. My music blaring as I pulled in and I lock eyes with a guy standing outside his van. I parked across from him and saw a bunch of people looking. I grabbed my sunglasses and pop a piece of gum in my mouth as AC/DC started blasting. I got out and leaned my back on the door with a smirk.

"Great another Freak!" a voice called. I let Back in Black finish before turning my Impala off and grabbed my bag and Walkman and went inside after locking my car. I locked eyes with the guy from the van as I pulled the gum out of my mouth dropping it and grabbed a sucker and put it in my mouth. I walked in and went to the office.

"I need my schedule." I said pulling my sunglasses off placing them on my head.

"School started a month ago. Oh your new."

"Yup." I said popping the 'P'. The woman asked my name

"Selene Nightshade." I said

"Right here you are. Just so you know we do not tolerate fighting." She said sharply

"If no one starts it I won't have to finish it." I stated grabbing the papers I heard her grumble as I walked out I had my head down reading the schedule and I ran into someone but it felt like a collision of someone running.

"What the fuck." I hacked as my sucker jammed me in the throat

"Shit sorry." I looked up and saw the guy from the van

"It's cool have no clue where I'm going anyway." I said as I tossed my sucker into the hallway

"Maybe I could help, Sweetheart." I rolled my eyes

"Would love to hear the metal head gentleman's name." I said, " Nice to meet another metal head thought this shitty town would be boring."

"Eddie Munson. We also share all classes." Eddie said, "Your name Sweetheart."

"Selene Nightshade." I said as the bell rang

"Munson get to class and take the new student with you." Office lady said. We got to class I had my hands in my pockets. The walk was calming and quiet

"Late again Mr. Munson." I pulled my schedule out and glanced at it and saw the name Mrs. O'Donnell

"Got a reason this time told to escort the lady." Eddie said. I rolled my eyes and walked in as my combat boots thudded on the ground. I just nodded

"Sit by Mr. Munson." She said

"Whatever." I said walking to the desk. I put my hair behind my ears revealing my pierced ears and pulled my Walkman out listening to Metallica as the class moved on I took notes then started sketching my Druid out for D&D the bell rang and I stood still sketching

"Hey." I heard someone call. I felt a tap on my shoulder

"Huh." i voiced and saw Eddie

"Damn Sweetheart I heard the Metalica didn't know you didn't hear. What is that?" Eddie said

"Promise Mike to show him the finished result." I said, "Shrimps a pain in the ass."

"You talking about Wheeler, Sweetheart?" Eddie said as we trailed the hall. I heard a bite in his tone

"Yeah little shit wouldn't stop bugging me all summer. How do you know Mike? He's my cousin." I said. I swear I heard him sigh

"You also didn't answer the question Sweetheart." Eddie said

"Will you quit with the Sweetheart crap and it's my druid." I said. Eddie had wide eyes as he grabbed my drawing

"Shit you play." Eddie said, "What level?" I tried grabbing my drawing

"Fifteen why" I said, "She's also a multiclass now give that here damn it."

"Shit got to show the others so no." Eddie said before running with a grin

"Gods damn it." I growled and ran

"Get back here Munson!" I hollered all i heard was him laughing.

"I will chase you till you give that back." I yelled. the others just watched

"Freaks." some jock said. I rolled my eyes as we got to the cafeteria and Eddie stopped at a table out of breath

"Munson!" I yelled and lunged tackling him

"Oh shit!" Eddie said and we landed on the ground him face down

"Give it back doofus." I said

"Damn Sweetheart. Here you win." Eddie said

"Thank you." I said and swung my leg over and stood

"Selene what the hell."

"Oh hey Mikey." I said

"You took Eddie out like a linebacker."

"Dustin right." I said and he nodded

"What was that by the way?" Mike asked

"Here you little shit. Munson here was just being a butthead." I said with a scowl, "Three months of work."

"He took Artemis out of your hand. Here I like living." Mike said. I grabbed Eddie's seat and sat

"Hey!" Eddie said

"You lose Munson." I said. I smirked as he grumbled and grabbed another chair dragging it to sit beside me

"Dustin give me my Artemis drawing I have to now add a dire wolf for shadow." I said

"Okay." Dustin said handing me my notebook.

"What's going on over here?" I saw a teacher storm over.

"Nothing just a little rough housing." I said the teacher just grit his teeth then walked off

"So care to explain the last name if your a Wheeler, Sweetheart." Eddie said. I scowled and Eddie just looked concerned

"Name change. Parents didn't want me. So it's Nightshade, after the toxic poisonous plant." I said, "And they changed it so I can learn independence and repeat senior year again."

"Hey you think it's be cool to go over to your house after school?" Mike asked

"No can do Squirt." I said

"You didn't bring that thing did you?" Mike asked. I glanced at Eddie and he looked like he regretted the question but was intrigued

"If you mean Lupa yes. Not leaving my fur baby. She's alone at the house right now maybe I should find her a mate." I mumbled

"Oh god no she doesn't need one." Mike said

"Okay who's Lupa?" Dustin asked

"Just the most vicious mutt." Mike said

"Hey she's half wolf not her fault you made her mad. Everyone knows you don't corner an animal." I said

"She bit me." Mike said

"Aw did my baby hurt little mikey cause she took a toy." I teased

"She took my walkie!" Mike said

"Oh that's why there's teeth marks on it." Dustin said

"I'm Lucas by the way, that was you in the Impala."

"Yeah that car is my baby. '67 engine purrs like a kitten." I said smiling closing my eyes, "Can't wait to clean her."

"You work on your own car?" Dustin asked I ignored the amazed stares of the three unnamed boys

"Don't trust any mechanic with my car." I hissed

"She worked on that car every chance she got over the summer." Mike said. I rolled my eyes, "Yeah your mother loved that."

I flinched and stood

"Too fat Mike." I growled

"What the hell just happened?" Eddie asked

"Shit I need to apologize." I heard Mike say

"She's clearly mad, I got it." I heard Eddie say. I opened the doors and went into the hallway. I was seething and swung punching a locker

"Shit Sweetheart your hand." I heard Eddie say. my hand was shaking

"Why the hell did he bring her up." I growled I jumped as I felt a hand on my shoulder

"Hey it's alright." Eddie said

"No Munson it's not. To her I'm the freak." I spat

"That can't be true I'm called The Freak." Eddie said. I snorted with a chuckle. Eddie followed me outside

"Well since Wheeler already got a death wish. He told me about your home life and why your here." Eddie said slowly rubbing his head. I sat down with a scowl

"I meet you like three hours ago." I said, "Yeah he's dead. Lupa will have a meal."

"I could just kill his character in D&D for you till your appeased." Eddie said

"Tempting but revenge is a dish best served ice cold." I said darkly. I looked at Eddie and hi cheeks were pink.

"That was metal." Eddie said

"Why thank you. You are by far my favorite person I meet today, Metal Twin." I said nudging him

"Friends then Sweetheart?" Eddie said

"Again with the Sweetheart. Seriously do you call all the girls that? But yes friends." I said

"So you know this is my third year of being a senior what made you fall back?" Eddie asked. I looked at Eddie

"One hell of a fight. Bastard wouldn't take no as an answer. So I curb stomped his ass and hospitalized." I said, "Sent to Juvie guess that's why I'm stuck in this town for senior year. His parents wanted to press charges on account I'm twenty, but there was to many witnesses saying it was self defence."

"Nope that's morre metal." Eddie said

"No it'll be this bit of information from the story on how I beat the shit out of him. He threw me into a locker witch got everybody's attention. He lunged at me and I slammed his face into a closed locker which did slow his advance so adrenaline happened and I ripped the locker door off the open one and closed lined him in the face and he dropped." I said and I looked at Eddie as the bell rang

"Where have you been all my life." Eddie said breathlessly. I froze and he saw my face and went red

"Said that outloud didn't I?" Eddie said and I nodded but laughed and he grabbed my hand I punched a locker with

"Damn you did a number on your hand." Eddie said I scoffed

"You should see when I punch brick." I snorted pulling my hand back just as the cafeteria emptied. I let a breath out and stood as I saw Mike run over terrified as he shakingly handed me my notebook back

"I'm so sorry I said that." Mike said

"That's fine and dandy but Munson told me  you blabbed." I saw him go pale, "but thanks to you I got a nice friend I can actually trust." Mike mumbled something

"What was that?" I asked

"Nothing." Mike said as he took off. I looked at Eddie who had a red face guessing he heard Mike.

"Alright Munson next class lead the way, Newbie here." I said. Eddie huffed and lead the way and school ended pretty quickly. Eddie was right behind me as I ran to my car.

"Hey Sweetheart, sorry I'm late." I said, "Good no scratches." Eddie was chuckling

"What's so funny Munson." I said

"Don't mind me but nice car Sweetheart." Eddie said

"Hey freak flirt somewhere else!" I glanced and saw a jock. I rolled my eyes. I flipped him off and noticed Eddie did the same thing and I busted out laughing

"Oh my gods!" I said and Eddie looked at me, "we did the same damn thing. We are gonna be good friends Munson." I opened my door and popped the hood lifting it and I looked at it seeing if anything was wrong.

"What are you doing?" Eddie asked I rubbed my face as I felt grease transfer

"Making sure no one tampered with my car." I said. I closed the hood going to my door

"See you tomorrow Munson." I said

"Selene!" I looked over and saw Mike running

"What?" I said

" Do you want to play D&D?" Mike said, " Well if Eddie agrees. He's Dungeon Master."

"Don't need his permission let's go." I said, "But first I'm moving my car."

Eddie and Mike went to his van and I moved my car to park beside his van and got out locking the door.

"Get your ass over here Mike." I called as I popped my trunk

"No way you completed it." Mike said running over and I just smirked

"You itching to see too Munson get over here." I said. All he did was whistle

"Artemis?" Mike said

"Yup got everything for D&D just keep it in my trunk for safekeeping." I said, " Well till I find a spot for it."

"Okay you got to wear it for D&D." Mike said

"Got it." I said grabbing the duffle and my binder, "Lead the way just have to change in the bathroom."

I HOPE YOU ENJOY MY STORY EDDIE MUNSON WAS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER FROM STRANGER THINGS A CLOSE SECOND WAS DUSTIN AND JONATHAN. I COULD CONNECT WITH EDDIE ASIDE FROM THE DRUGS AND SUCH ABOUT BEING ALIENATED BY MY PEERS BUT I DID FIND A SIMILAR GROUP OF FRIENDS LIKE THE HELLFIRE CLUB BUT I WAS ONE SILENT PERSON ALL THROUGH HIGHSCHOOL
