1 week later...
"Did ya'll see that TikTok with the little girl making her dad drink pee?" William laughed, turning his phone around so everyone could see what he was talking about.
"BeNd dOwN," Mateo said, reciting the video as it played. "I saw that shit, man." William and Mateo were both dying of laughter.
The whole cast ordered pizza and were hanging out in the lounge until they were called back to set. Everyone chilled but William and Mateo were always scrolling through TikTok and making sure everyone knew how funny they found it.
"You two are the biggest kids, I swear," Leah chuckled, rolling her eyes at them both. She sat on the other side of the room, on the sofa closest to the door.
"No...wait." William said in between laughs. "Did you see the video?" He stood up, watching the video for the fifth time.
"I haven't and I don't want to so don't come over here," she chuckled, watching William come over and plop down next to her anyways.
"You have to see it," he said, out of breath because he was laughing so hard.
Leah pushed the phone away as he put the phone in her face for her to see the video. William immediately wrapped his arm around her and held her hand down, pinning it to her lap. "Please, just look at it with your big head," he mugged.
"Chill, man. You don't want your name in the blogs again. I don't think she's gonna save your ass again," Zeke joked, making the entire room laugh, except for Leah.
Leah couldn't help but remember what happened the day after the interview that caused the chaos. Causing the entire internet to bash Williams name, causing her to have to defend him and causing Jonah to act the way he did.
Claire could see the look on Leah's face and knew exactly what she was thinking. She watched as she fought to hold back tears.
Leah got up from her seat and attempted to leave the room. "Leah, where are you going?" Claire asked, now bringing the entire rooms attention to Leah.
"I'm just going to use the bathroom," she said, forcing a fake grin. She proceeded to walk out of the room and held her breath as she shut the door behind her.
She could hear Claire from the other side of the door. "All y'all do is play," she mugged, knowing that her friend was upset by their comments.
She knew they were only trying to be funny and didn't know her situation, but she was hurt. Her mind filled with flashbacks.
She decided that she would go out into her trailer and be alone until she had to go back to work.
She walked into the parking lot, where the trailers were located and put in her combination to her trailer. She opened the door and shut it behind her, finally releasing her breath.
She walked further inside and sat on the small sofa in the trailer. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, taking a second to calm herself down.
"Enjoying yourself?" She heard a voice come from the back of the trailer. She quickly opened her eyes and snapped her neck in the direction it came from.
She took a deep breath before she could bring herself to respond. "Jonah?" She swallowed the lump in her throat. "I need you to leave," she said timidly, jumping to her feet.
Instead, he stepped towards her, making her step backwards, in sync with his movements. "If you touch me, I'll scream," she said, angrily.
He hesitated before he took a seat at the small table in the trailer. "No, you won't. You're too scared. If you were going to say something, you would've done it already," he smirked.
Leah stood there and watched him as he sat at the table and fiddled with his fingers. "You know that no one will believe you if you say anything," he finally said.
Tears were filling Leah's eyes, biting the insides of her cheek as her lip trembled. "Why are you doing this?" She asked.
"Leah, I love you and I can't be without you," he said, giving her puppy dog eyes.
"You hurt me," she said, clenching her fist as a tear rolled down her cheek. "Get out!"
"You're just going to leave me?" He looked up and asked.
"I left you the day you hit me. I'm not going back there. You need to go," she yelled, clenching her jaw and pointing to the door.
He stood up from his seat and began to step closer and closer. Leah stepped back and held her hand out, occupying the only space between them. Just as he went to grab her hand, the trailer door opened.
"Jonah, I will call the police if you don't leave now." Simone entered the trailer and said. Leah had dialed her number the moment she saw Jonah. She was just waiting for her to get there.
He stood there a minute, not expecting her to be there in that moment. "I'm not going to speak again." She said, now standing in between Jonah and Leah.
He sucked his teeth and kept his eyes on Leah, stepping to the exit the trailer. Leah backed up as he got closer.
He left the trailer and met one of the security.
"John, escort him out," Simone said to the security guard, giving Jonah a death glare.
The security guard led Jonah to the exit, while Simone locked the door behind him.
Simone turned around, seeing Leah completely break down into tears. She pulled her in for a hug and rubbed her back.
"He- I heard everything. It's okay." Leah tried to explain what happened to Simone but she just wanted her to calm down.
"Why didn't you tell me before?" Simone asked, pulling out of the hug and holding Leah's face. "You know I want to be here for you."
"I'm sorry. I was just scared that-." She paused, feeling embarrassed.
"You don't have to be scared of anything. I will always have your back." Simone said, grabbing a tissue from the box on the counter and dabbing Leah's tears.
"I know," she sniffled. "I just don't want this to be bigger than it needs to be." She pulled away from Simone and sat down.
"Leah, he's not going to stop because he thinks you won't say anything. I heard him say it." Simone said, walking towards Leah and waving her hands.
"He's not going to leave you alone until you make him." Simone placed her hand on Leah's shoulder, looking at her with worry covering her entire face.
"I've told you my story a million times. I've worked so hard to get here and I won't let him ruin it." Leah looked up and said. "I'm sorry but I just can't do it."
Simone sat next to Leah. "I know that you think you don't have support. But we are all here for you. I can't pressure you into doing anything you don't want to do but just know that I don't believe you should hold onto this. You're strong and when you're ready to let the world know the truth, I will be right here." She kissed Leah's forehead before walking out of the trailer and leaving her to deal with what she just said to her.
She closed her eyes and put her face into her hands. She wiped her tears as they flowed.
It wasn't too long before she heard a knock at her door. Startled, she jumped to her feet. "Yes?" She asked, timidly.
"Leah, are you okay?" William screamed on the other side of the door. Lead wiped her tears and dried her hands in her jeans before opening the door.
She opened the door and headed right back to her original seat. William followed her in and watched as she continued to pat her cheeks, searching for fallen tears.
"Leah, what's going on? Is everything okay between you and Jonah?" William hesitantly asked. He had seen the security escort Jonah from the establishment but didn't know what was going on.
Leah only shook her head. William walked towards her and sat beside her. "Come here, peanut head," he said, pulling her towards him and holding her.
"We're done," she mumbled. She still didn't want William to know the entire story but she wanted him to know that she and Jonah were no longer together.
"I'm sorry," he whispered, kissing her head. "I'm sorry to hear that."
He held her and rubbed her back while she snuggled into his chest. He heard her muffled cries and it tore him apart.
Thanks for reading everyone.
