I stepped of the bus into a neighborhood I knew so well but my memory was still fuzzy. I'd been on the bus with two other kids who looked like my current....form. I looked like a typical human teenager who has seen way too much.

The smell of pines hit me. The tall trees covered everywhere except the town. The two other kids were going on into the woods. I had already decided where I would go.
