Ian's P.O.V

I followed Amy throught the slides and the various rides.Maybe she had found an exit.

Amy took a turn and I suddenly found myself in front of some stairs.

Come on Amy beckoned and we climbed the stairs.They ended in a large room.The ceiling was way up and the walls were a pale blue.The floor had white tiles and the room smelt of...chemicals.

I was probably going insane

Then I saw a huge screen in front of me which had cameras which showed us images of the whole park.Two chairs were placed in front of it

On my right side there was a small table with a few chairs.A few boxes were kept beside them and were piled up next to a door.

Amy you found the control room I exclaimed

If we can escape somehow then this is the only way

It was then I noticed that Amy was really quiet.And her eyes were drooping.

Amy?Are you fine?

No a voice came from my side.
On my left side.I turned around to see another door out of which a huge man appeared

He was muscular looking with blond hair and ashen skin.He was wearing a black suit and a pale blue tie.The man looked very buisnesslike but when he smiled a cold shudder ran through me.This man was a killer.

I could tell that much.

The way his hand lumbered around his jacket pocket....I could make out the shape of a gun

He narrowed his eyes at me.

You he said
He'll be glad its you

Who? I asked

Brave he chuckled
As I was told

Maybe we can talk about you...

This was confusing
Beside me Amy collasped

Amy! I yelled

I turned to the man
What do u want!And what have you done to her

Protective much the man whistled
We have done nothing to her.
Except maybe...a serum

A serum I repeated

Developed by our scientists.It makes the mind of the patient bend to our will and make it seem as if it is his or her will he supplied

Basically hypnotising.But unfortunately the effects are short termed

Hatred boiled through me as Amy clutched her head

I..I am alright

It came out more of a question
She tried to stand up and I helped her.

Oh and as for what do we want...
the man continued

We want some of your precious time.If you decide to work with us then fair enough otherwise death for you

I am never going to cooperate with you! I sneered

Not for anything in the whole world!

Not even for me a deep familiar voice csme from behind

I turned and stood face to face with.... dad

Amy's P.O.V

After I woke up my mind had been fuzzy and confused.This serum thing explained it...

And I had led Ian here

I felt like smacking myself

Especially now when Ian and I stood face to face with Vikram Kabra

Ian was trying to control his emotions bout I could see that he was struggling.Hatred, Love , Anger all were visible on his face for a moment and then he set up his nonchalant mask

As if he didn't care whether it was his dad standing before him.Which was typical of Ian.The masks I mean...

Son Vikram said

I am not your son. Ian said coldly looking at him

I am a Lucian

And a Madrigal I added firmly and squeased his hand.I was regaining my strength

Vikram smiled slightly as if this thought amused him

I see you have already met my partner Riley he said looking towards the blond man

Not Riley from the top most wanted list of Interpol I gasped

Riley smiled cruely

I am quite famous, am I not Julius? Riley said

Julius Mason I said remembering the list of Interpol

An alliance

Vikram nodded
Clever as ever Amy he said

That won't last for long.
However, I would like to talk to you son.

Ian shook his head

I am not interested in joining you.I was wrong in even agreeing to you and Isabel.Natalie and I have changed.We have a family.

At least Isabel died saving the world I said
She turned good in the end.She cated for her children a little

I am deeply sorry for leaving you and Natalie Vikram said

But if I hadnn't I would hv met the same fate as your mother's

That would have been better Ian commented

Ah but I am still intent on saving our little family Vikram said ignoring Ian's comment.

And so is Natalie....

No! Ian said

Suddenly on the screen where the cameras were, Natalie appeared.There were tears streaming on her face

I'm sorry for betraying you Amy she said
But I want my dad back.We can have him back Ian.Listen to him. Its not too late.We can be happy once again

The picture or video went away.Ian's face was hard to read

You heard her Ian Vikram said softly

You can have a new life

Ian looked at me.I couldn't say anything.I would like to lie but actually everyone was still cautious of Ian and Natalie.Nobody trusted them much....

Including me.Ever since the clue hunt was over the Korea incident played in my mind and try as I might I couldn't entirely trust him

Oh don't worry about the other Cahills Riley said

We can leave them if you want.But this girl here would have to go down

The knot in my stomach tightened.Ian wouldn't sacrifice Natalie and Vikram for me.After all I had done to him

Riley threw a gun towards Ian who swiftly caught it.He stared at it and fingered it looking at it as if it was an explosive.

Prove yourself Vikram said
Shoot her

Ian looked at me.His eyes shone.He backed up
I didn't close my eyes.I wouldn't.I looked into Ian's eyes.He raised his gun

I'm sorry I whispered

His face was grim

He brought his finger around the trigger and pressed it
