another enemy fallen by the sword,
I will vanquish all of them mark my word!

Suddenly
Silence

In the faint distance I hear the thrumming of drums,
The beat approaching in hums

I ready my sword as the first shadow towers over
And plunge the blade into the darkness

The sword drives straight through it not leaving a mark

I stumble back assuming my battle has failed,
Only for it to circle me,
Emitting a deafening wail

It grasps my wrists
It grabs my feet
It tightens around my neck

What is it?

"What are you?!" I scream
"Don't you remember me?" Is hisses, "when I took your brother I sounded just like this..."

The panic is rising
The fear is real
I'm scared for my life
My terror sizing

It holds my head will black lies
And looks at me with yellow eyes
