We live in a nice quiet subdivision. The kids are friendly and so are the adults.

We just moved here and we are welcomed with many platters of foods and welcomes to the neighborhood.

It's the summer and it's very hot out.

There's a pool in our back yard and we invite kids to come and swim with us.

My parents are in the house along with my brother.

First, it starts off as a few kids.

Then, more and more start coming.

They swim and splash and have fun. After a while the kids start to mistreat the pool.

The pool doesn't appreciate this.

One day a kid tries to console the pool.

It doesn't work.

Tentacles grow out from it's depts and kids start to splash and scream. They try to run, but the tentacles shoot out and wrap around their stomachs pulling them back to the pool.

I run to the door before a tentacle can get me.

I stand there and watch.

Kid after kid after kid try to run away. And I watch as tentacles drag them back into the water.

They don't come back up.

I run to the front room where my family is and I hear glass break in the kitchen.

It's in the house trying to get to me.

I try to scream, but nothing comes out. I try to run further, but the front room moves farther away with every step I take.

I can feel it behind me. It's cold and wet tentacle latches on to my midsection and yanks me backward.

It takes me out to the pool. I know that once I'm sunk I'll never come back up.
