Author's POV

Thor, Jane and Ellesmere stayed at Jane's apartment for a few days before leaving for New York. They made sure she was fully recovered first. Elles called Steve to inform him of their arrival. It was hard for Jane to say goodbye to her daughter and she gave Elles the longest hug almost squeezing the life out of her in the process.

"Mum? Mum? Mum, you're choking me!!" She said struggling to free herself from her mother's grip.

Thor chuckled, "Jane, I think you should let go of her, she won't be alive much longer if you keep hugging her like that! " Jane eventually let go.

"Mum? Can I ask you something? " Elles said going to stand next to Thor.

"Yeah, what is it? "

"How is it that six years ago I was ten years old and why did you take me to the Thurman Hospital? "

Jane smiled then sat down on her couch. Elles was quite amazed at how she reconstructed the place as if it hadn't been destroyed a few weeks ago. The house seemed new and exactly the same as before. Jane knew Elles loved breaking stuff especially when she wasn't going to pay for it so she didn't complain when she found her house almost completely collapsing to the ground.

"I really don't understand how that happened too. But all I know is, you weren't and still isn't a normal person. And I love you for that. And I took you there because, you wouldn't go to school and followed me to work everytime, you would always use your powers in the office, everyone was scared of you. Even in school. Dr Janice is a friend of mine, so I brought you to her hospital so she could have you stay at the children's quarters while I worked during the day. "

Elles nodded then turned to Thor. "And you, when will I be getting to see my grandpa and step uncle? "

Thor stared at her blankly, "Step uncle? "

"Don't blame me, I didn't know how to refer to Loki! "She said rolling her eyes, "Okay, adopted uncle then? "

Thor shook his head laughing quietly, "I don't think anyone would be seeing Loki for a while, even I have no idea where he is or what he's up to. Even though he's adopted, I see still see him as my blood. And as for Odin, well, he might be shocked to discover that he has a granddaughter but we'll make out time to visit him. "

"YES! "She yelled punching the air victoriously, "I could teach grandpa how to hula hoop. Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh !!"

Jane and Thor laughed as Elles twirled around throwing her hands in the air gently. "I still have to teach Fury so gramps is gonna have to stand in line. "

"We really need to get going Jane. We'll come back and check up on you! "Thor said and for the first time, pulled her in for a kiss.

"Ewwwwwwwwww! "Elles said scrunching her face and covered her eyes with the back of her hand. "You gotta rub it in my face that I don't have a boyfriend, okay, note taken! I'll date Tony! "

"What??" Thor and Jane said in unison then looked at each other. "No, you don't! "Jane said coming to stand in front of her daughter wagging a warning finger in her face.

"Jeez, calm down, I was only joking. I'd date Steve instead. " Elles said laughing naughtily.

"He's 97 years old and you're just 23 " Jane said folding her arms across her chest.

Elles folded her arms too with her eyebrows raised, "Look who's talking, Thor's 300 years old and you're just 30. "

"Well, at least there's threes and zeros in both our ages! "Jane said in defeat going to sit back down.

"Still doesn't change anything! "

"If you add one more zero to her age then she'll be 300 too." Thor said as they walked out of the living room. Jane had a car arranged to take them back to the Airport.

"That's not the only thing that'll add, I mean, there's folded skin, loss of memory, loss of tooth, boring routines, loss of sight. I think there's more of loss than gain here! "Elles said making Thor laugh hard. Jane just pouted.

"It's good you're pouting now while you have pretty lips, try pouting when you're 300 years old, you'd look like a starving bloodhound. "She said. This time, Thor was already choking. His masculine laughter caused the car he was leaning on to vibrate.

"What exactly did I do to you?" Jane asked raising her eyebrows amused at Ellesmere's sudden sense of humor.

"Truth is, I've been taking sides with you all my life and now it's time I took sides with my dad. I'm sure you can understand how protective I am, you did that for me too, right? "She said getting into the car.

Jane turned around with her hand covering her mouth as she sobbed quietly. What she had been scared of was coming true. Slowly, she was losing Elles to Thor.

He walked up to her and held her shoulders. She turned to face him, "See what I was talking about? "

"She's only joking! "He said but he knew deep down that she wasn't.

"No, she's not joking. It seems funny but she's serious. I knew this would happen one day. If I had just brought her to you in the first place, we'd have had better and equal chances of sharing her attention. "

"I'll speak to her. You just take care of yourself and try not to worry so much. "With that he pulled her into a hug. Elles watched from inside the car listening to everything they said. She wondered if she was really running out of love for Jane. All she ever thought of, was keeping Thor safe and being with him. She had no idea that Jane would be jealous.

"Goodbye Jane! "She heard Thor say in her mind and looked up. He got into the car on the other side and they drove off to the airport. She couldn't even wave goodbye to Jane, she had mixed emotions.

She knew Thor wanted to say something about it so before he spoke, she stopped him. "I don't want to talk about it! " and he respected her decision and didn't say a word. They were silent all through the flight and the drive back to the Tower.

They got to the Tower by late afternoon but it was empty. That was odd!.

"Steve? Peter? Tony? Nat? Clint? Rhodey? Bruce? Wanda? "She called walking in and out of every room searching for them but the place was quiet.

"Where did everybody go? "She asked no one in particular.

Only soft music played. The living room was in order and nothing was broken which meant everything was under control and nothing was wrong.

Thor stretched his hand out and Mjolnir flew right into his grip.

"What is it? "Elles asked thinking he had sensed danger to call Mjolnir.

"Oh, nothing. I just wanted to hold it! "He said throwing the hammer into the air then caught it.

"Can I try? "Elles asked opening her hand.

He shook his head, "I don't think you can lift it"

"Really? " she said then stretched her hand out. Mjolnir flew out of Thor's hands right into her outstretched one. He looked shocked for a while but chuckled almost immediately.

"Now, you're just showing off! "He said. She threw it into the air, caught it then repeated the whole process again. Then threw it back to him.

"When will you tell the others about it?" Thor asked and just then, Steve, Nat, Clint, Tony, Bruce, Rhodes, Peter, Wanda, Director Fury, Maria Hill and a whole gang of SHIELD walked in then paused staring at the pair.

"Tell us about what? " Steve asked looking suspiciously at Thor. Apparently, everyone had overheard Thor's question. "I knew something was going on between you two!"

"It's not what you guys think! " Elles said as the soldiers began surrounding her. "Come on, you're gonna arrest me? I didn't do anything. "

"Stand down soldiers! "Fury ordered and the men withdrew from her going to stand behind him instead.

"Tell us what's going on! I've been sniffing crazy on you two for a long time now." Nat said standing unusually balanced, it was as if she was waiting to pounce on either one of them.

Peter cleared his throat quietly making everyone turn to look at him. "What? You know what's going on? "Steve asked with a straight and almost annoyed look on his face.

Before Peter could speak up, Elles interrupted, "Yes he does! ". Thor gave her a confused look, "He does? I thought no one else knew! "

"Can you all please talk in a language I understand because I'm getting real confused here!" Clint said and Rhodey supported.

After a moment of silence, Peter said "Tell em Elles, it's no use keeping it a secret anymore."

"Pleas don't tell me you're a couple! "Bruce said with a shocked expression on his face earning a surprised glare from Tony.

Everyone stared at Elles and Thor waiting for an explanation. She took in a breath then stretched her hand towards Mjolnir, it went straight into her hand. A whole minute passed with no one saying anything but having a surprised look on their faces. After another minute, Tony spoke up.

"You can lift Thor's hammer? "  Tony asked. "That's what the 'it' was all about? " Nat scoffed.

"But Vision can do that too, what's new?"Wanda asked folding her arms.

"Yeah, Vision can do that. But he can't do this " Using Mjolnir, she charged her entire body with EC. Thunder rumbled and lightening crackled fiercely turning the clouds a pitch black, her eyes became glazed over white and her hair too. A fierce wind blew mercilessly causing stuff around to shatter into pieces. A mini earthquake shook the Tower causing everyone to fall down. Then she stopped and turned to face the balcony. A little bit of lightening still crackled from Mjolnir as she twirled it around really fast and blasted out of the Tower through the balcony then came back in and landed in a crouch.

"Okay, whoa. That was awesome. You guys saw that this time right? " Peter asked obviously the only one amazed by what happened. Everyone else seemed speechless and rooted to a spot.

"You guys still don't get it, do you? "Peter asked looking at every face in the room.

"Thor's my father. "Elles said and the silence that followed was enough to hear a spider spinning it's web from a mile away.

"Huh? "Clint and Rhodes asked simultaneously.

"Yeah! " Elles said moving to go stand next to her dad.

"Wait, what? "Tony asked still fazed by the news.

"Is this some kind of joke? "Wanda asked.

"I don't hear anyone laughing! "Elles replied.

"How long have you known? "Steve asked still digesting the news as well.

"um, let's say, ever since I was born! "She replied balancing on one leg.

"And how long has he known? "Bruce asked.

"I found out when we left for Austin! "Thor replied.

"So, that's why the look exactly alike! "Clint said snapping his fingers in realization.

"You noticed? "Nat and Steve asked at the same time turning to look at him.

"Who didn't? It was pretty obvious but almost impossible to believe. "Bruce added.

"So you're his daughter? "Maria asked.

Elles nodded and Thor threw his hands over her shoulders.

"Another Asgardian in the building people!" Peter said tapping his feet lightly on the floor in a dancing manner. Soon, everyone else joined in and it became a party. Fury couldn't stay so he left with the soldiers. Maria Hill remained.

They partied until evening and then Fury came. After a few minutes of deciding, Fury declared Ellesmere Foster, an Avenger. Everyone cheered as she signed the confidential papers.

"Your superhero name is Current from now on. And remember, I came up with it! Who knew Point Break had such awesomeness in his loins, come on cheers to Ellesmere!! "Tony said raising a glass of wine to cheer. Everyone raised their glasses too and cheered their newest member of the Avengers. Wanda became friends with Ellesmere seeing as she wasn't an enemy like she thought.

"Guess I was wrong about you after all! "Wanda admitted. "I'm sorry! "

"Smell that? "Peter asked.

"The silent judgment!"Steve answered and Peter nodded.

"Okay, go ahead and rub it in my face all you want! "Wanda said crossing her arms.

"It's gonna be the longest night ever! "Steve mumbled smiling at how everything had turned out.

They Know!!!  Let's all Happy dance!  Right foot two jukes, left foot two jukes alright let's move. Turn it out !!

I am so proud of this chapter. I did good aiit!

But tell the Avengers to buckle up cause it's gonna be a rough ride soon.
