Anne's POV

"What took you so long?" I asked excitedly but Elles looked panicked.

"Elles, where's your mask? Put it on or they'll see you." I whispered in the darkness.

She cut the tape with her lightening sword then tucked it back into her pocket as it returned to the size of a pen. The noise around us increased with each passing second.

"You have to leave. Go to Wisconsin. I'll meet you there..... eventually." She instructed taking my hands as she led me through the shattered wall. But she didn't go across.

"Elles, what's going on? Why aren't you coming with me?"

"I'll explain when i get back, don't try to look for me. I'll be fine but right now my father's in trouble." She said sealing the wall using electromagnetic energy.

The next second, i was left in the dark hallway, with the wall before me perfectly sealed as if it hadn't been shattered.

"I could use some lights, Elles. It's so dark in here." I said stretching out my arms to feel around.

Immediately, the lights came on.

"Thanks, Elles." I whispered then ran down the hallway although it took a lot of time before i found a way out of S.H.I.E.L.D's facility, it was as complicated as a maze but i still made it out.

Elles had left my ride's door open. I got into the station wagon and zoomed off not fully convinced that Elles was okay.
