Epilogue

I groaned when I heard the loud screams of my little girl, Abigail, through the baby monitor on my nightstand. She was currently only five months old, almost six, and I loved her to death. It's been tough but worth it. I remember when I first looked at her and just bursted into tears. I was exhausted since today was the wedding and I'm supposed to be getting ready in the morning. Yesterday me and the girls, including my mother and Lisa, were running around like crazy, making sure that everything was perfect even though it's supposed to be a small wedding.

After I was released from the hospital, a week later, Dillon was too. I made sure to thank him for saving me that day. Travis, David, and May are all in jail. Catherine struggled after the whole ordeal and had to go to therapy but I made sure to stay outside the whole session, waiting for her so she had the reassurance that I was there for her if she needed me. Now, thank goodness she's gotten better so no more nightmares but still occasionally has flashbacks. Luckily my mother and father were there for her when I couldn't.

We were also quick to start the process of adoption for Annabelle since we wanted to be her guardian. She was ecstatic when she found out and was happy to join our family. After a couple of months of living in Lisa's house since she was the only one with room for us, Jack surprised me with a simple one-story house that could fit all four of us. We moved in straight away, getting the nursery room ready since I was about seven months pregnant at that time. Everything happened so quickly but we were lucky.

"Get up Jack, it's your turn to check on Abigail" I mumbled against my pillow.

"Wasn't it my night yesterday?" Jack asked tiredly.

"No, it was mine, now up" I ordered.

Jack groaned as he got out of bed and walked out of the room to check on Abigail before Annabelle could wake up. I fell back asleep for the rest of the night peacefully, thank goodness, though I woke up to Annabelle shouting at me to get up and get ready. I tiredly got out of bed and walked into the bathroom to shower as Jack stayed asleep since he didn't have to get ready till later along with the other guys. Jack was going to look after Abigail till he had to get ready then my mother and Lisa will look after her at the venue during the ceremony and reception.

Once I was done showering and changing into some jeans and a simple top, I walked into the living room to see Annabelle sitting on the couch with Catherine, laughing while watching TV. I smiled at that, they've become inseparable now and I couldn't be happier about that. I looked over to see my mother and Lisa on the other couch. My mother was holding Abigail and they were both making silly faces making Abigail giggle uncontrollably as she reached out to them, trying to touch their faces.

I walked over to them and sat on the other side of my mother. I kissed Abigail's forehead and she giggled again, putting her tiny hands on my nose. I scrunched up my nose as she kept giggling. We played with Abigail for a bit till we had to leave. We got into my mother's car and headed towards the venue to do our hair and makeup there. Once we got there, we exited the car and I was immediately ushered inside towards the area where I would get ready. I saw Amanda and Sarah already inside the room, talking excitedly. They jumped up when they saw me and ran, almost tackling me in a hug. I laughed as I hugged them both back.

"You excited for your special day today?" Sarah asked as they both let go of me.

"Oh you have no idea" I said and they both chuckled.

The hair and makeup people came in shortly after and did what they needed to do though it did take like about 3-4 hours of prepping. I had then put on the wedding dress that Amanda kept for me during the time that I was pregnant. The others kept gushing while my mother and Lisa tried not to cry. I rolled my eyes with a smile. I turned to look at my bridesmaids and maid of honour, that being my sister. They all looked amazing. It may have taken a while for this day to come but it was worth the wait.

Soon it was time for me to walk down the aisle right after my bridesmaids and the groomsmen made their way down. As I walked down the aisle, I saw Jack practically tear up. Once I got to stand in front of Jack, we both smiled at each other as Jack wiped away a lone tear that had escaped. I looked towards the crowd, at my friends and family all smiling with excitement in their eyes. My brother Max was currently dating Brianna since she had gone overseas for a bit but came back to stay six months ago. They both met up and a month later, they were dating.

Dillon was also currently dating someone, her name is Pearl Quinn. Jack and I met her and she was so nice. I'm glad that he's moved on with someone better and he's much happier now. Sarah forgave him for what he did since what happened to him and what he did for me. Ron was with them both, happy since they were all talking again and were actually kind to each other. They were all a happy family, which I know deep down is what Sarah has wanted. I guess everyone is happy.

I then looked over towards my little girl to see her looking at me with wide doe eyes with the pacifier in her mouth. She looked so innocent. I then looked back towards Jack to see him mouth 'I love you'. I mouthed it back to him, tearing up. Once the ceremony was over and Jack practically dipped me and kissed the life out of me, we headed towards the reception. While we were sitting at the table, in front of everyone, Jack kept kissing my neck and had his hand on my thigh. I giggled as I tried to gently push him away.

"Jack, we're in public" I whispered to him but he just smirked as he continued.

"What if I don't want to stop or wait" Jack mumbled against my neck.

"Then I'll leave you outside tonight" I said, smirking. I wasn't serious but he didn't have to know that. He believed me since he pulled away and pouted. I chuckled before pecking his lips making him smile again.

"Would you like to hold Abigail now?" I heard from behind me. I looked over to see Lisa standing there with Abigail in her arms who had a teddy bear in her hands, trying to bite it. Jack took Abigail out of Lisa's arms gently before sitting back down. I looked down at her as she squealed when she saw us.

"I still can't get over how cute she is" I said, wiping my tears that had fallen away.

"Her birth will still be the best day of my life, this day being the second" Jack said.

"I agree, nothing will ever be more important or more amazing then the day she came into this world" I said. Jack turned to me and kissed my forehead before doing the same to Abigail.

"We love you little one" Jack whispered as Abigail kept biting the bears head, getting saliva all over it. She then squealed and held it up to us. We chuckled at how cute she was being.

"She's so adorable!" Amanda squealed from beside me.

I laughed as she reached her hand over at Abigail. Abigail ended up trying to chew on her finger even though she didn't have any teeth yet but I could tell she was about to start teething, which Jack and I were prepared for when that happens and she starts getting her first tooth. The first dance of the bride and groom was about to start so Jack handed her over to me and I handed Abigail over to Amanda. Amanda happily held her and tried to make her laugh. Jack grabbed my hand and led me towards the dance floor as a slow song started to play.

The spotlight was placed on us when we started to slow dance to the song. We were pressed against each other, leaving no room between us. It was embarrassing to be in front of everyone, dancing but I kept eye contact with Jack, focusing on him only. I wrapped my hand around the back of his neck and pulled him down for a kiss. Jack kissed back as I heard my friends start cheering. I pulled away, laughing at the reaction and Jack did the same. Soon everyone joined us on the dance floor to slow dance.

"We did it Jack" I said, grinning.

"We sure did and we did it together, along with the help with our friends and family" Jack said as we rested our foreheads against each other.

"Now all that's left is to make sure Abigail is always safe and happy" I whispered. Jack cupped my cheek and used his thumb to stroke it.

"She will always be our number one priority as long as we live, I promise she won't go a day without growing up in a positive environment" Jack vowed.

"Even though during her teenage years she's not going to be happy with you when you try to stop her from dating" I joked. Jack glared playfully at me.

"Hey! It's my job to protect her, she won't be allowed to date till she's 40 years old, wait, no, 50 years old" Jack said, looking determined. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Calm down old man, you got a good couple of years before she even thinks about dating" I reassured him.

"Ok I'm not speaking about this, I'll probably get angry" Jack said, huffing and I chuckled.

"Ok, ok, we'll just dance in silence" I said making him smile.

After going through so much drama, I was happy to finally be where I belong, with my friends and family. They were the most important people to me in the whole entire world and I'm happy that they are all safe. Everyone got what they wanted in the end, I mean I know that John is planning to ask Amanda to marry him soon because he asked me and Sarah for help to set it up. I'm excited for that day so I can record it for her. For Sarah, she's taking things slowly at the moment but I know they'll get married soon when they're ready, same with Dillon and Max.

I'm finally content with my life and everything is finally perfect and where we want to be right now. I know that we got many more years of happily watching Abigail grow up and see everyone's lives develop. It's been a bumpy road but in the end, we succeeded and ended up on top with everything we ever needed right here. My life, my perfect yet weird family.

AND THAT'S THE END TO THIS BOOK.

Yes, I know that the first book and this one are both not my best works but I've been practising. It's taken me so long to write this book because I just lost touch with it, I didn't like the plot and I was writing other books that I was more interested in. I regret writing this without having a definite plot and just improvised. I hope that my other books will be better but one day I'll edit the books that I've put up that are from years ago but right now I'm focusing on the new drafts I have now since I only have three more weeks of holidays before going back to university to do the third year of my degree hopefully.

Thank you to the people who've read this, I hope you at least enjoyed it and weren't too disappointed with it even though I know there might be some plot holes and just random things. If you stick around to see the new books that I've been working on, then till next time you guys!

Follow for more if you want! Bye! I wish you guys all the best and thanks again for reading!
