New Years Resolution for 2025:

Stay sane and breathe.

Sounds easy, right? It won't be. My world crashed horribly in April of 2024. My work, my writing, and a new friend kept me sane.

Since then, I've made another new friend. She's also helping to keep me busy and giving me the normalcy I need.

I'm going to need my new besties this year because my life will not only change day to day, but it will crash again, but this time with finality. I've accepted that, as hard as it may be.

Once that happens, I will find a new normal and move on. That's the way of life. The pain never goes away, you just learn to live with it. And I will.

I would like to remind all of you to be kind. You never know what someone else is going through. A few encouraging words may be all they need–or that crazy meme that gives them a chuckle through their tears.

Love life, my friends. I wish you all the best that life can give you. Eat the cookie and wear the dress. You deserve it.
