This is the first love letter I’ve ever written. Is it strange that the person I think about all the time won’t ever know I love them?

Maybe. But that doesn’t stop me.

Anyway, I’ll refer to this person as ‘M.’

I just want to say, thank you. Thank you for showing me that life is hard sometimes. That things don’t always go our way, that we’ll loose people and things we care about….Thank you, M, for showing me that it’s important to enjoy every moment you have…because you’ll never have that same moment ever again. Thank you for showing me that I should spend every moment I can with the people I love and care about…because they could be gone tomorrow.

Thank you for brightening my day with that smile. Thank you for showing me it’s also ok to cry when you need too.

Thank you for putting your time into so many things meant for others.

Thank you for staying strong and showing me that strength is not the absence of weakness, but the ability to overcome and accept that weakness.

Thank you for being yourself, someone that I can love with all my heart, even if you’ll never know it…..thank you.
