It was now inevitable that you had to meet his parents, and made you freeze up as a wave of anxiety and worry washed over you at the thought of how they'd react to someone like you being around their son and precious grandchild, you were only snapped out of your thoughts when he gently placed his hand on your shoulder, a confused frown painting his facial expression

Taehyung: What's wrong?

He looked down into your eyes, and you gulped as you rubbed your arm nervously

Jungkook: I'm just... nervous... Your a family of purebloods and I know what people think of mudbloods like m-

This made him instantly reach over to cover your mouth, stopping you from finishing your sentence as he shook his head reassuringly whilst smiling softly

Taehyung: Hey, don't think too much about it okay? We'll just greet them quickly and then I'll take you home, don't worry.

You sighed softly but nodded in agreement before the two of you slowly made your way downstairs, walking into the living room where you saw his parents calmly chatting whilst having some tea together, and once they saw Taehyung they smiled brightly.

However, they looked a tad bit surprised once they noticed you by his side, so you bowed respectfully as you greeted them

MrKim: Oh, we didn't know we had a visitor as well!

Mrs.Kim flashed you a friendly smile as she gestured for the both of you to come sit down, and she naturally grabbed two more teacups and poured up the tea

MrsKim: Take a seat, you drink Oolong tea right?

You nodded and carefully accepted the teacup she handed you with both of your hands, and carefully took a small sip out of it before putting it down onto the table, feeling your hands tingle a bit from the warmth

MrKim: Well aren't you going to introduce yourself?

Taehyung chuckled as he muttered out a ''Dad don't make him nervous now'', and you smiled softly as you looked up at them, trying to hide how nervous you were

Jungkook: My name is Jeon Jungkook sir, I'm also a student at SF University like your son and that's how I know him

Mrs.Kim sipped her tea as she nodded, sounding intrigued as she spoke

MrsKim: Oh really, what's your main power dear?

Her question instantly made you tense up slightly, and you fidgeted softly with your hands as you gulped

Jungkook: Oh, my main power is uhm.. healing

They both widened their eyes in surprise and glanced over at Taehyung whom nodded, confirming what you just had said was true

Taehyung: He placed 3rd during the practical evaluations, and is also one of the top students overall.

A sheepish smile painted your lips as you carefully sipped your tea, slightly flinching as you burned your tongue when Mrs.Kim suddenly spoke

MrsKim: Surely your parents must be proud to have a son like you then!

You lowered you head and put down your teacup before looking up at them, smile now turning to a more forced one as you spoke softly

Jungkook: I wouldn't know, but I hope so ma'am.

MrKim: Say I haven't heard the last name Jeon in a while, especially among us purebloods. Are your parents not from here?

Taehyung looked at them sternly as he placed his hand on your knee trying to reassure you

Taehyung: Dad that's not relevant is it?

MrKim: Oh what, can't I ask questions about your new friend? I wanna know who my son is hanging around!

You looked up at Taehyung and nodded as a sign that you were okay, meanwhile Mrs.Kim also calmed her husband down a bit, maybe noticing that there was a reason for the tension surrounding the topic

Jungkook: No it's okay, I understand sir... Truthfully, my mother passed away when I was young, and I never got to know about my father.

Mrs.Kim put down her teacup as she looked ay you, speaking hesitantly

MrsKim: So you're saying there's a high possibility you have no blood relations with people who have power..?

Taehyung: Mom!-

A shaky sigh left your lips as you felt your heart sink whilst you lowered your head shamefully and nodded slowly, feeling yourself shrink under their gazes meanwhile Taehyung groaned in annoyance

Taehyung: Just because he has no blood relations doesn't mean he's below us in any way, I'd expect the two of you to-

Mr.Kim chuckled softly as he tilted his head whilst looking at the two of you, clearly surprised by the somewhat harsh warning from his son

MrKim: Oh son we know that already, we're just amazed by his accomplishments given how he's had no one by his side with powers to guide him up until recently.

His words made you widen your eyes as you slowly raised your head and looked up at them in surprise, and they both flashed you reassuring smiles making you feel like a huge weight had been lifted off of your shoulders

MrsKim: Sorry if we scared you dear

You instantly shook your head as you smiled warmly

Jungkook: Oh no it's okay! I'm more surprised by the fact that you're treating me with such kindness honestly...

MrKim: I take the kids haven't treated you well?

A breathy giggle left your lips as you scratched the back of your head, shrugging softly 

Jungkook: Well things have calmed down now, and I am grateful to be surrounded by very good friends, including your son who have helped me and stayed by my side

Taehyung smiled almost proudly as he nudged your shoulder gently

Taehyung: Jungkooks good at standing up for himself, so we haven't really had to do much.

MrsKim: So how come you two are getting home at this hour?

The two of you glanced at each other and giggled softly as you spoke up

Jungkook: I got to meet Nari today, so we spent the day hanging out together

Taehyung nodded as he showed Mr. and Mrs. Kim some pictures he had taken throughout the day, and you could tell how their faces lit up whilst looking through them all

Taehyung: Nari loved Jungkook, and she really had a ton of fun today. She fell sleep in the car on our way home so Jungkook helped carry her inside and tucked her in, I was gonna drive him back just as you guys called out my name.

Right, that very last part might've left out a little detail, but nonetheless, Mr.Kim handed Taehyung his phone back as they were both smiling warmly, the tension in the room long gone as he spoke softly

MrKim: I assume Taehyung has told you about everything regarding Nari then?

You nodded as you finished your tea before responding

Jungkook: Yes he told me, and I mentioned this to him earlier today... I can see that all though it must've been tough, with your guidance he's done an amazing job as her father figure and keeps proving how much he cares for her.

Mrs.Kim visibly teared up lightly as she nodded while sighing

MrsKim: Thank you for saying that dear...

Taehyung smiled as he glanced at the time on his watch before standing up

Taehyung: We should get going now, thanks for the tea mom

You also stood up and bowed lightly thanking them as they both followed you to the door, and once you both had your shoes on, you turned towards them flashing them a warm smile which they returned

MrKim: We'd love it if you came to visit us again sometime together again Jungkook

Jungkook: I'd love that too sir, and I'll make sure to bring something for the two of you next time as well!

Mr.Kim chuckled and nodded, patting your shoulder before Mrs.Kim pulled Taehyung and you into a warm hug, making you feel a bit surprised yet really happy at the warm and love-filled gesture

MrsKim: Drive safe, and Jungkook you can drop the formalities now okay?

You nodded before waving goodbye as you and Taehyung finally headed out of the house and got into his car, once you got in you covered your face feeling a wave of relief and happiness wash over you, making you tear up

Taehyung looked over at you with widened eyes seeing the tears on your eyes, and he swiftly reached over and began rubbing soft and comforting circles on your back to try to comfort you

Taehyung: What's wrong?

A shaky sigh left your lips as you shook your head and leaned back in your seat, glancing over at him with a soft smile

Jungkook: Nothings wrong hyung, I just feel so relieved...

This earned a soft chuckle from him before he leaned over and helped you put on your seatbelt, then ruffled your hair playfully as he started the car and began to drive off

And after about a 20-minute drive, you were finally back on campus and parked at the dorms parking lot, so you both got out of the car and headed inside and up with the elevator to the right floor, slowly walking side by side in the dimly lit hallway until you reached the door to your dorm

He then turned towards you and looked down into your eyes, smiling softly whilst reaching out to hold your hand, making your heart flutter as you tilted your head lightly while looking up at him

Taehyung: I really had fun today...

Jungkook: Yeah me too...

He looked into your eyes for a little longer before slowly leaning down and kissing your lips, and you immediately closed your eyes as you held onto his jacket, enjoying the moment as your heart fluttered happily.

Once he pulled away from the kiss, you blushed softly as you looked into each other eyes whilst giggling quietly

Jungkook: G-goodnight hyung

Taehyung: Goodnight Jungkook-ah
