The day was slowly coming to its end, and your gaze briefly traveled to the view out of the bar's windows, seeing the busy streets outside being lit up in neon colors from the different shop signs and lights and decorations outside.

Your gaze then focused back onto Taehyung as you sipped your cocktail, feeling the alcohol gently burn your throat a little while listening to him talk oh so fondly in his deep and soothing voice

Taehyung: -and so after my sister died, I've basically been taking care of Nari pretty much as my own daughter. And Mom and dad are taking care of her now until I finish my studies here, hold on I'll show you a picture of her!

A soft smile spread across your lips as you nodded, watching him excitedly scroll through the pictures on his phone, a warm and loving smile painting his lips as he somewhat leaned across the table to show you the pictures of her

Taehyung: This is a picture mom secretly took of us on her 8th birthday

He then swiped to the next photo, smiling at the picture lovingly as he spoke softly

Taehyung: And here she made me take this the day before I left for the dorms, so that I could look at it when I miss her.

A soft giggle left your lips at the adorable remark that supposedly had come from the younger, one could only imagine she learned a thing or two from him after all this this time

Jungkook: She's beautiful... and from what you just said I am assuming she's a little sweetheart

Taehyung: Yeah, she really is isn't she?

He then put his phone away before taking another sip out of his drink, meanwhile, you leaned back in your seat as you hummed curiously

Jungkook: So what does she call you then?

The warm smile on his face only seemed to grow, and his eyes had a subtle sparkle in them at the question

Taehyung: She calls me appa, I've been a father figure for her for almost all her life and so she naturally just built a habit of it. Which I of course don't mind at all, she's such a smart and amazing kid.

You nodded and smiled warmly as you looked into his eyes, tilting your head slightly as you admired this new side of Taehyung you had the honor of discovering

Jungkook: It's nice seeing this side of you...

A warm chuckle rumbled out of his chest at your remark, as he raised an eyebrow in confusion

Taehyung: What side?

Jungkook: This warm, caring, and loving side... I didn't think you had it in you, but you really have been proving me wrong lately.

He shrugged before chugging down the rest of his drink, eyeing you curiously as he spoke

Taehyung: Then what about you? I talked about my family, your turn

You sighed as you scratched the back of your head awkwardly

Jungkook: I mean there's really not much to say... My mom passed away when I was 4 and I never knew who my dad was, but I grew up with my grandpa and he's always been the most loving and supportive person in my life, and that's more than I could've ever wished for... There's really nothing extra to my life aside from today...

He nodded understandingly before pouring up the last bits of the soju that was left into your shot glasses, smiling softly as he lifted his shot glass

Taehyung: Well let's finish this up and head out before we get too tipsy, shall we?

A soft yet warm laugh left your lips as you nodded in agreement, picking up your own shot glass before clinking it together with his as the both of you simultaneously let out a "cheers", then gulping down the liquid in one go.

Both you and Taehyung had spent at least 3 hours if not more just chatting and drinking together at the bar, and without a doubt, you guys had gotten closer than before as you learned a lot of new things about each other.

The alcohol may have played a part in the relaxed atmosphere, even making this possible in the first place, but you weren't complaining.

He's actually.. a really amazing guy

You glanced over at him and watched as he pulled on his jacket whilst ruffling his hair softly, the dim light in the bar just bright enough to be able to highlight all his ethereal features

Taehyung: You coming?

He reached out his hand and you broke out of your daze as you nodded, hesitantly accepting his hand feeling your heart flutter at the contact as he helped you up

Taehyung: You can walk right?

This made you softly huff and roll your eyes at him, and even though he let go off of your hand he still kept up the over-exaggerated play, acting as if he had to make sure you wouldn't fall over, so you gently hit the back of his head as you looked up at him making him chuckle

Jungkook: I'm slightly tipsy not drunk Kim.

Nonetheless, the both of you only broke into a soft fit of giggles as you paid for your drinks before exiting the bar, slowly beginning to walk down the street together whilst enjoying the cold night breeze

Taehyung: I may be a bit tipsy and this alcohol is giving me a bit too much confidence, but I am honestly glad we did this

You nodded in agreement as you halted your steps to look up at the sky

Jungkook: Me too... You're not the arrogant cocky bastard I thought you were Kim

He laughed softly as he shook his head

Taehyung: And you're not the ignorant annoying twat I thought you were Jeon

A sheepish smile painted your lips as you turned to look at him, only to realize he was already looking down at you, something about that calm yet almost passionate and serious look in his eyes made your heart flutter

Jungkook: You know.. I-

Suddenly you both looked around in surprise as one unexpected raindrop turned into two and then into multiple, and within a mere seconds everyone around the both of you was running for cover as heavy rain started falling from the sky

Though surprisingly the rain didn't seem to faze either of you, and instead the both of you only laughed softly as you looked into each other's eyes once again, he then hesitantly reached over and gently made you look up at him, keeping one hand gently supporting the back of your neck while the other sneaked around your waist pulling you in closer.

Your heart now skipping multiple beats as your whole chest filled with nervous yet excited butterflies, just waiting for him to go on as neither of you could care less about the heavy downpour right now

And before you knew it, he slowly leaned in connecting your lips into a deep kiss which you immediately melted into, slowly wrapping your arms around his neck whilst your hand gently tangled itself into his wet locks

Once the two of you eventually pulled away from the kiss, you both giggled softly in embarrassment as a faint crimson was evident on both of your cheeks, whether that was due to the alcohol or kiss, who knows.

Jungkook: T-that was.. something

Taehyung: Yeah it sure w-was...

He looked around as he pulled off his jacket using it to shield the both of you from the rain, even if it practically was pointless at this point considering you were both soaked

Jungkook: Uhm... I think we missed the last bus back to campus...
