【 Jungkook 】

A soft sigh left your lips as you were on your way to your next class, which coincidentally just happened to be a power training class, making you nervously bite your bottom lip as you rubbed the back of your neck

Jungkook: It'll be fine... I have a power after all, I can prove myself to them now... I just hope I don't make a fool out of myself...

You started making your way up the stairs only to stop in your tracks as you heard the sound of someone shaking a spray paint can, and to your surprise, upon raising your gaze you saw someone with their cloak hood covering their head as they were in the midst of spray painting over the curses directed towards you.

Seemingly oblivious to your presence, the figure soon turned around only to freeze in his tracks whilst dropping the spraypaint can he was holding, finally noticing you were standing right there, and your breath hitched softly as you widened your eyes after having managed to catch a glimpse of his face

Jungkook: You-..?

Knowing there was no use in denying what you already had seen, he slowly pulled down his hood and cleared his throat awkwardly, looking around whilst kicking at the ground softly as he cursed under his breath

Taehyung: Hah damn it..

You looked up at him, feeling both surprised and confused as you tilted your head slightly

Jungkook: Wait... But I thought Jin and Namjoon were the ones who-

A sigh left his lips as he ruffled his hair, and you could've almost sworn you saw a faint pink flush on his cheeks to match the purple tone his eyes flashed

Taehyung: I told them not to tell you it was me..

His words only made you more confused as a frown painted your facial expression, and you slowly but hesitantly climbed up the remaining steps before approaching him

Jungkook: But wait-... why?

He shrugged slightly as he put his hands into his pockets, still avoiding eye contact as he spoke almost in a hesitant way

Taehyung: Well you know... I figured after everything that's happened, I'd be the last person you'd want to associate with. Doing things quietly just felt like a better option...

You felt your heart flutter as you bit back a soft smile while looking up at him

Jungkook: So you were actually the one who took the wands to the professors and got Woojin and his friends expelled... And did these graffiti coverups?

Taehyung looked down at you with those same beautiful soft purple eyes you had witnessed before, as he hummed awkwardly

Taehyung: Namjoon and Jin was a part of that, but yes the graffiti has just been me.

There was a brief yet comfortable silence that momentarily surrounded you both as you processed the newfound information, and soon cleared your throat as you spoke softly while gently nudging his arm

Jungkook: Thank you Kim...

He almost smiled a little, though swiftly looked down at you as he pointed at your chest whilst speaking in a stern and warning manner 

Taehyung: Don't you dare tell anyone about this Jeon.

A soft giggle now left your lips as you nodded and gently reached up, giving his shoulder a couple of gentle pats whilst looking up into his eyes

Jungkook: I won't, I better get going now then...

As you turned around and started walking off, you stopped in your tracks and turned around to face him again after hearing him utter out a hesitant
''Hey Jeon...''

Once he knew you were paying attention, he looked at you and his eyes visibly turned a light brown color whilst he spoke softly in his deep tone

Taehyung: .. For the record- I don't care that you don't have any powers and that you're a... well you know...

This earned a soft snicker out of you as you bit back an excited grin, happy to hear his confession though shrugging softly as you looked at him

Jungkook: Thanks Kim, but for the record.. I have some kind of a power.

He frowned in confusion and watched as you smirked and turned around, beginning to walk away and passed by one of the withering plants in the hallway, touching it ever so gently making it slowly come back to life and turn back into a beautiful healthy green color.

The sound of his sharp and surprised breath intake could be heard as you calmly walked off, fighting the strong urge to turn around to see his reaction, however you still felt a huge sense of happiness and pride wash over you after being able to prove your power to him.

Once you reached the door to the training hall, you nodded to yourself encouragingly before walking inside, refusing to lower your head as you were immediately met with annoyed groans and glares from your fellow classmates

Girl: Why the hell is that filthy mudblood here?

A guy huffed as he walked up to you, pushing your shoulder harshly as he glared down at you

Guy: Came to practice faking your powers? This training hall isn't your playground mudblood

You looked up at him calmly as you raised an eyebrow whilst huffing in annoyance

Jungkook: This isn't your playground either, why don't you mind your own business.

He gritted his teeth as he snorted, shaking his head before grabbing ahold of your shirt's collar as he spoke harshly

Guy: Are you fucking stupid, I said get out of here

The door to the training hall soon opened behind you both as Taehyung calmly walked inside, slowly making his way towards the two of you as his eyes turned pitch-black whilst his facial expressions were completely cold and unreadable

Taehyung: Get out of the way, you're keeping everyone from practicing right now.

This made the guy let go off of you as he smirked whilst crossing his arms

Guy: You heard that? Get out of here mudblood.

Taehyung adverted his glare down at him as his tone lowered even more

Taehyung: I was talking to you bastard, move it.

To say you could hear a pin drop inside that training hall would be an understatement, as the shock from Taehyungs unexpected comment left everyone far too stunned to speak, the both of you just walked off leaving the guy there cursing under his breath in annoyance and disbelief.

A sigh left your lips as you took off your cloak and looked around uncomfortably, still seeing how everyone kept shooting you disgusted glares, definitely not making any attempts in keeping quiet as they audibly began talking shit about you once again.

You let out a soft ''I should've just kept training in the garden'' under your breath, but widened your eyes as Taehyung suddenly stepped forward and rolled his eyes whilst looking around at everyone, speaking quite loudly and harshly

Taehyung: Everyone shut up. If you've got time to gossip like this during training then no wonder he beat you all so easily during the evaluations.

A huff left your lips as you crossed your arms and muttered out a slightly annoyed ''Hey. I can handle this myself Kim.'' at him, so he glanced over at you and then over at the wall of plants you were close to before humming.

Girl: Don't tell me you're trying to defend that powerless freak?

He closed his eyes and focused, soon making you shiver as you felt an ice-cold gush of wind pass through you and head towards the plants, within seconds making the healthy green plants all wither and get covered in a light frost coating

Once he was done with his little trick, he opened his eyes and slowly walked up to you, eyeing you in a challenging way as he nodded at you to continue the show

Taehyung: Do it again Jeon.

The whole training hall's attention was now on the two of you, and the tension inside that room felt fairly uncomfortable, nonetheless you tilted your head and raised an eyebrow at him as you brushed off some frost from his chest

Jungkook: Oh but I don't have to do anything you tell me to Kim.

He shrugged as he smirked softly, looking down at you as he lowered his voice in a teasing manner

Taehyung: Why, scared you can't do it again?

This earned another huff from you as you finally nodded slowly before glancing towards the wall of plants, raising the palm of your hand towards it whilst focusing on what you wanted to do, and the quiet room soon filled with confused gasps as all the frost disappeared and the plants came back to life, all looking arguably healthier than ever.

You internally cheered seeing it had actually worked before glancing back over at Taehyung, flashing him a soft smirk as you hummed

Jungkook: Is that what you wanted Kim?

He chuckled and crossed his arms, nodding in satisfaction

Taehyung: Sure was.
