| The next day...

It felt like a huge weight had been lifted off of your shoulders now that you knew you had your friends by your side, and unlike the last couple of weeks, you for once didn't feel dreadful about today as you made your way towards the university

You took a deep breath in and out to soothe your nerves one final time before you opened the main entrance door as you headed inside, beginning to walk down the hall slowly, and unlike before you were actually able to remain unbothered by the glares, distant curses and slurs being thrown at you every now and then.

When you eventually reached your locker, a soft and annoyed huff left your lips seeing there was clutter on your locker door once again, but instead of keeping quiet like you used to, you turned around and crossed your arms whilst looking at the people surrounding you with confused or annoyed looks on their faces

Jungkook: Look, I'm the one you hate not the janitors, so stop with this locker door scribbling bullshit. Aren't you guys getting tired of it? I'm sure there are plenty of other things you can do to entertain yourselves if you're bored.

Just as you turned back around to face your locker, you heard someone audibly mutter out an "If you hate it then take the hint and fucking leave idiot, we don't want you here", making you snicker softly as you spoke in a calm yet scary manner

Jungkook: Say that to my face, my back isn't a voice mail bastard.

Surprised gasps at your unexpected response were heard as you calmly unlocked your locker and got the things you would be needing for your first class, once you turned around to walk off and go look for your friends, you winced as someone purposely bumped into you harshly

Student: Watch it you filthy fucking mudblood

You rolled your eyes as you rubbed your shoulder gently before glancing up at him, tilting your head as you poked at his shoulder

Jungkook: You bumped into me, so you're the one who should watch it.

He let out a laugh of disbelief as he glared down at you

Student: How dare you speak to me like that, hah you seriously can't do anything right... You shouldn't even be here you filthy useless little-

?: HEY!

Your gaze traveled over to your right side and a soft smile painted your lips seeing your friends hurrying over to you, ready to defend you whilst shooting death glares his way

Hoseok: Leave him alone you-!

Nonetheless, you stopped them as you smiled letting out a soft ''I'm fine'' before turning back towards the guy, an amused smirk now painting your lips as you stepped closer to him, not breaking eye contact as you spoke challengingly

Jungkook: Hmm... Useless and can't do anything right you say? Then care to explain to me how I still managed to beat you and many more in the evaluations making it to the top 3?

He clenched his fists whilst gritting his teeth angrily

Student: You cocky little shit-

He raised his fist ready to punch you, however, you swiftly caught his wrist and twisted it hard, making sure to press extra hard on a certain pressure point making him wince and hiss out loud in pain, instantly earning a surprised yet annoyed glare from him as you just spoke calmly

Jungkook: From now on, how about you do me a favor by minding your own fucking business. I'm getting sick and tired of these childish and absurd games you're playing.

You flashed him a fake smile before finally letting go off of his wrist, tauntingly brushing off some dirt from his cloak just to make sure his blood was boiling, and he ended up stomping off whilst angrily cursing under his breath in frustration, earning a proud giggle out of you as you turned towards your friends who had watched it all unfold

Yoongi: Hah that was hilarious, did you see his face?! You really don't mess around Jungkookie!

They all high fived you as they chuckled in amusement

Jimin: Damn why do you keep getting cooler and cooler?!

Another soft giggle left your lips as you scrunched your nose at his words, shaking your head slowly before glancing over to your right as could've sworn you saw a familiar figure, so your eyes blindly searched the crowd around you for a bit until they finally landed on a familiar face staring right back at you in the midst of the crowds.

The both of you momentarily made eye contact before he swiftly turned around and walked off in the opposite direction, making you subconsciously let out a disappointed sigh, however, your attention was soon brought back to your friends as you felt a hand on your shoulder

Jimin: You like him don't you?

You widened your eyes in slight surprise before rolling them and laughing softly

Jungkook: What are you talking about silly, who?

He pinched your arm making you wince and gasp at him

Jungkook: Hey what was that for?!

Jimin: Don't play dumb with me now, you know exactly who I mean

You swiftly pulled Jimin off to a more quiet area as you looked around before speaking up

Jungkook: Look-... Hold on, where did Hobi and Yoongz go?

Jimin: Well while you were zoned out busy looking for a certain someone in the crowd, they said they'd go buy us coffee. Now come on don't try to avoid the subject!

A soft sigh left your lips as you gently ruffled your hair whilst shrugging

Jungkook: I- I don't know if I do hyung... But- even if I did it doesn't matter, especially not now..

Jimin crossed his arms as he looked at you with a raised eyebrow

Jimin: And why do you say that?

You looked at him as you leaned against a nearby wall whilst shaking your head

Jungkook: Jimin he's a pureblood, and I'm a mudblood with no powers. Not to mention, we're practically enemies!

Jimin: ... Enemies... that hooked up, not once, but twice?

His words instantly made you look away shyly as your cheeks began to heat up, clearing your throat shyly as you shrugged softly

Jungkook: Yeah but back then he didn't know hyung... Anyway, let's just go find Hobi and Yoongz, I really don't want to think about this right now honestly...

Jimin sighed but nodded nonetheless as the both of you started walking together whilst he patted your back reassuringly

Jimin: Alright, but just remember I'm here if you do want to talk about it

A soft smile painted your lips as you nodded, letting out a soft ''Thank you'' before sighing softly as you found yourself thinking back to when your and Taehyungs eyes had met earlier.

| Later...

Just as you were on your way to the school park to keep doing some personal research on different types of powers and how to use them, you happened to spot Namjoon and Jin sitting together at a table outside doing some assignments, and while you hesitated for a bit, you slowly ended up making your way towards them

Once you reached their table, they glanced up at you in slight surprise and confusion whilst you nervously cleared your throat, letting out a soft ''Uhm.. Hi?'' as you waved softly

Jin: Oh- Hey, what's up..?

You scratched the back of your head feeling nervous to talk to them after everything they had seen happen, but nonetheless pushed through it as you spoke up

Jungkook: I just-... I heard about what you guys did, turning in Woojin, Changmin and Seojuns wands to the professors and telling them what you had seen...

They paused for a bit glance at each other, almost as if they were communicating with each other through their eyes before looking back over at you as they smiled reassuringly and nodded

Namjoon: Hey don't mention it, that's what anyone should do in that situation.

Jungkook: Hah... Yeah but not everyone would.. So thank you, I mean it...

Jin smiled as he patted the seat next to him as a friendly signal to let you know it's okay for you to sit down with them, which you did as you smiled softly

Jin: How are you holding up? I'm sorry about how rudely people have been treating you here...

A sigh left your lips as you shrugged lightly

Jungkook: It was really tough but I'm doing better now honestly

Namjoon chuckled softly as he nodded before glancing over at Jin

Namjoon: Oh yeah, we were told about what happened earlier today. You spoke up for yourself and stood up to that one guy, heard you looked super cool back there!

This earned a soft giggle out of you as you shook your head shyly whilst looking at them, suddenly remembering something important as you widened your eyes

Jungkook: Oh yeah, I also really wanted to thank you guys for the graffiti coverups you two have been doing on the stairwell wall

Jin: Which graffiti? Oh- you mean the one at A1?

You nodded slowly as they glanced at each other before chuckling softly, patting your back reassuringly

Jin: Right no problem Jungkook, just don't let the professors know it's us or we'll be in trouble

Jungkook: Of course I won't

Just as Namjoon was about to say something, you gulped as you saw Taehyung off in the distance slowly heading towards your direction as he was looking at something on his phone, so you swiftly stood up and looked at them hoping he hasn't seen you yet

Jungkook: A-anyway uh I gotta go, but thanks again for everything!

You glanced over towards Taehyungs direction and felt your breath hitch lightly as your eyes met, so you swiftly waved goodbye to Namjoon and Jin before hurrying off so that you wouldn't have to face him just yet.
