Hello and welcome to the 2024 writing boot camp by Annika Nofal. Annika is a published author who can easily be searched on both Amazon and Goodreads. She has a love for all things book related, and a passion for helping other aspiring writers reach their goals. In the earlier years of her childhood, she discovered Wattpad. Without it, writing had been bland and she doesn't know if she ever would have continued her journey as an aspiring author without it.

Yes. I'm talking in the third person. Why? Well if you want to be an author, get used to it. You're responsible for your own Amazon bio, websites, and whatever else you might need in order to thrive in this industry.

Writing is hard, so I won't sugarcoat anything, nor will I baby you. Instead, I'll give you support and help. If you don't have thick skin, you won't make it. People leave NASTY reviews, sometimes even death threats. Readers can be absolutely insane. The worst part? You're not even allowed to react in any other way than professionally. Not unless you want a target on your back from other readers and authors. As an author, you won't be seen as a person. Well—that's not necessarily true. There are many great readers out there along with authors. But there's also a lot of bad ones. It's a hard world out there. But, if this is your passion and it's all you want in life, then it's also worth it.

I'm here to teach you about the industry. I'm more knowledgeable with self-publishing, but I know a decent amount about traditional as well if that's your preferred route. If you aren't planning to publish at all, that's fine too. You can opt out of this specific lesson.

I'll also be helping you with grammar, storylines, character development, pretty much anything related to writing.
