Annabeth's POV:

" How about we make them take us horse riding into town?" Thalia said

" Why would we want that?" Piper asked

" Because we never get to go out of the palace with you Annabeth" Thalia said

" We can get out by ourselves, why do we need them?" piper said

" No way are you guys going out there without guards to protect you" Nico said

" Exactly. The boys can take us there and they can protect us." Thalia said

" How do you know that they know how to fight" Nico said

" Percy saved Annabeth once, and Jason told me that he used to practice sword fighting. Also I saw them spending time fighting with the guards once." Thalia said

" Ok, that sounds like a good idea" I said

" But just in case, all three of you are going to wear cloaks with hoods to hide yourselves from the rebels and so that no one knows that you were gone." Nico said

" Is Clarisse going to go with you" Calypso asked

" No, she should stay here, it is too dangerous for her" Nico said. See what I meant by saying that he is protective.

" What, why not" Clarisse said whining

Then Hazel walked up to her and whispered something in her ear. Then Clarisse had a big smile on her face and walked out.

" what did you tell her, hazel" I asked

" I told her that you needed time alone with the boys so that you can admit that you like one of them." hazel said

" Oh shut up hazel. Fine, Nico. You two go get your cloaks but don't wear them until we get outside. Also, stay in these clothes." I said

Thalia and Piper each have a room here. Thalia along with Nico lives here, because she ran away from her mother when she was 12 and she recently found out that she died. Her father. Left her when she was 3. Piper has a room because she stays here a lot since along with my mother, her mother barely ever spends time with her and her father has a lot of work to do. My parents also never see me but I have Thals and Nico to keep me company. So Piper comes here. But she has to return with her duty as the future queen of France.

I got my cloak out and went outside to meet them. As I was walking outside I met up with Piper and Thalia. Once we arrived outside, we saw the boys sword fighting with one another. But Percy beat them all. When they saw us walking, they looked at us and smiled.

" why do you have your cloaks?" Leo said

" Don't tell me its one of those secret expeditions to town like last time Annabeth." Percy said

" How did you know?" Piper asked

" because when I met her in town she was wearing that cloak." Percy said.

" Turns out you can actually be smart, Seaweed brain" I said

" you know you are really mean Wise girl" he said clutching his heart playfully

" Oooh do I see what I think I see " Piper said

"If you see two people arguing then yes I do" Leo said

" No you dimwit. I see two people possibly liking each other" Piper said

" Oh shut up Pipes. I have had enough of your Aphrodite side" I said

" Of her what side?" Jason asked

" her mom is Aphrodite and she is into romantic things and she is girly. Piper doesn't like to be girly but sometimes her Aphrodite side shows, like now and up in the room." i said

" Why what happened in your room" Frank said

" Trust me, you don't want to know." I said

" So what do you girls have planned?" Jason asked

" You are going to take us horse riding into town." I said

" Why do you need us to take you horse riding into town?" Percy said

" Because we aren't allowed to go if we don't have guards with us because of the rebels. But seeing that you can sword fight, you can take us instead" I replied

" Do you three even know how to ride a horse?" Leo said while snickering

" We don't only know how, but we are going to crush you." Thalia said

" Are the cloaks here so you can keep your identity hidden?" Frank asked

" Yes" i said

" How about we have one man stay with a girl that way we can keep track of everyone" Piper said with an evil smile on her face

" i know that you are up to something Pipes but that is a good idea" I said

" Ok, Thalia go with..." Piper said but was cut of by Reyna, another one of my friends running towards us.

" Hey everybody. I hope you don't mind if I tag along because my mom has gone somewhere at the moment and she wont return for 2 days." Reyna said. Her father had died and everybody says it was from a rebel attack. Reyna is next in line for the throne of England.

" This is Reyna, she is one of my other friends." I said while introducing her to the boys

" Hi, I am Leo, this is Percy, frank and Jason" Leo said

" We were just about to go horseback riding into town secretly. Car to join us?" I said

" Sure, let me run up and get my cloak" Reyna said. She ran off into the palace.

" Does she also have a room here?" Percy asked

" No, when she visits she puts all of her clothes in a guest room, but like us , she always caries a cloak. She is next in line to be the Queen of England like Piper and I" I said

When Reyna returned Piper said

" As I was saying, Thalia go with Frank, Reyna with Leo, I will go with Jason, and Annabeth here with percy" she said. Ughh I knew she had a plan.

"I don't need anyone to defend me, I know how to defend myself" Thalia said

" we know that Thals, its just for safety measures" Piper said

" Why exactly should I go with Percy?" I asked

" because Percy is the best at sword fighting and the rebels her don't know us that much." Piper said. but I knew that there was a different reason in her mind.

" Ok, whatever" I said

When we got our horses, each man stayed near the girl just in case and started talking.

" So, what do you like to do for fun?" Percy asked
