Okay, so I know this rant is a little bit random, but as school has recently started, I can't help but have this rant. At my school, like most, there is a no tank top rule. Um, why? No clue. I mean like, how are shoulders distracting. All of my friends joke like, aren't you so attracted and distracted by my shoulder? Or another common one, you're showing your shoulder? Scandalous! Yep, my friends and I are weird. But still, why can't we show our shoulders. They are literally rounded nubs that attach your arm to your body. Everybody has two of them, I mean, what is so distracting about them? Anyway, I mean, I understand the no short shorts rule, but seriously, no showing your shoulder? Really? Today I'm wearing a tank top dress, so I have to wear a shawl all day long. Yep. Luckily, it's only short sleeved so I won't get too hot, but I have to do it because of some rule. And my school is pretty lenient on their dress code, we can even wear open toed shoes on non-PE days. Yeah. But, there is one school that one of my friend's friend goes to wear they can't wear leggings without a skirt or dress? Seriously? How are leggings a distraction? And I mean, they can wear skinny jeans, just no athletic pants or leggings. Yeah. How are leggings bad, but skinny jeans are perfectly fine. Yeah. I wear leggings like almost everyday just as pants, I would not survive at that school. Anyway, that is my rant on school dress codes and how they should change them. So yeah. Byeeee!:)-Piper
