Well, let's see, yesterday, I was talking to one of my fellow dancers and this is how the conversation went:
Her:Okay, truth or truth? (It's like truth or dare, but no dares)
Me:Truth
Her:Do you have any addictions to anything?
Me:Yes
Her:What?
Me:Percy Jackson
Her:Oh, those were good movies
Me:wat
Her:What is it?
Me:Did you just say you like the movies?
Her:Well, yeah, they weren't great. They were okay
Me:Have you read the books?
Her:I read the first few words of the first book and got bored.
Me:WHAT?!?!??!! I WILL PERSONALLY SEE TO YOUR DEATH
And yeah, that was how the conversation went. I just wanted to rant about how some people have only see the movies and DONT EVEN BOTHER TO READ THE FREAKING BOOKS I MEAN SERIOUSLY?!?! And when you do, you get bored? See the movies make me bored, the books are amazing. Actually,you know how the first book starts and it's like "Don't read this if you think you might be a demigod and you think this is more than just fiction" and such? I HAD A TEACHER LITERALLY SAY THAT MAKES PEOPLE WANT TO READ IT EVEN MORE HOW DOES THAT KIND OF OPENING MAKE SOMEBODY BORED I MEAN SERIOUSLY?!?!!
Oh, and I have a friend that like reads fanfics for stuff but not the actual books, and she said that the actor for Percy was perfect. No. Just absolutely no. Percy's hair is always messy, but the actor's was like straight and clean! Omg, get your facts straight people! And yeah, that's what I have to rant about. So I hope you enjoyed.
