Anna's POV

Today was my date with Cedric! Yay! I've been so anxious, but excited too. I got ready (the picture attached is the outfit) and made my way to the courtyard where I was supposed to meet Cedric.

"Hi Anna!" Ron said coming over to me.

"Hey Ron."

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Um...are you going to Hogsmeade with anyone?"

"Yeah, I'm going with Cedric, why?"

"Oh, um, no reason," he said glumly. Was he going to ask me out? Probably not. I mean, he's Ron, he's my best friend. I couldn't dwell on it much longer as I saw Cedric coming towards us.

"I've got to go Ron, I'll see you later?"

"Yeah, bye," he said. I turned and went to Cedric.

"You look beautiful as always, are you ready to go?" He asked. I could feel a blush making it's way across my face because of his compliment.

"Yeah," I said and we got in a carriage.

(A/N (Sorry) I'm not going to write out the whole date because it's just like a regular date, I don't want to bore you, and I'm just really lazy...)

"I had a great time, we should definitely go on more dates," I said, smiling.

"Me too, and I wouldn't have a problem with that," he said and we kissed. God, I loved Cedric...

"I need to get going, I'll see you later," he said when we broke apart.

"Bye!" I said and we went our separate ways. I walked to the common room, my heart fluttering in my chest.

Harry's POV

(This is a few days later)

All of us sat in the Great Hall, waiting to hear Dumbledore's special announcement. I caught a glimpse of Anna across from me. Of course she was still mad I was still forbidden to talk to her, and she would glare if we made eye contact. I felt terrible, but if I could just explain what happened, she might forgive me... Anyways, she was staring at something. I tried to follow her gaze, and saw she was staring at Cedric Diggory over at the Hufflepuff table. I couldn't believe it, only two weeks since she broke up with me, and she's already got her eye on someone else?! Was I that worthless?

"Hermione, is Anna going out with Cedric?" I asked, trying to control my temper. She hesitated, but still answered.

"Yeah, she didn't want anyone to know, especially you."

"Well, if anyone looked at her, they would be able to tell considering the fact she looks like a lovesick puppy."

"This is your fault you know."

"I know! Have you at least tried talking to her?"

"Yes, but she won't listen. Harry, you had your chance, but you blew it. She's stubborn, and she won't just give in, I'm sorry, but there's not much you can do," she said sympathetically. Before we could talk anymore, Dumbledore went to the podium and the Great Hall was silent.

Anna's POV

I zoned out during most of Dumbledore's speech because I was too busy thinking about Cedric. I'm not obsessed over him, I just like to think about him, okay? I decided to try and get the main idea of what Dumbledore was talking about. I guess there was tournament where you fight to the death? Wait, I got it, you do different tasks. Yeah, that's it.

"And the Tri-Wizard tournament will replace quidditch this year." I heard Dumbledore say.

"Wait what?!"

"THATS RUBBISH!" Fred and George stood up and yelled.

"It's only for this year. Now, only students 17 or over can participate. You have 24 house to enter. Good luck!" He said and we were dismissed. I forgot to mention that students from the schools Dumstrang and Beauxbeatons had come to participate. Me, Harry, Ron, and Hemrione walked to the common room.

"If you were of age, would you enter the tournament?" Ron asked us.

"Definitely not," Harry and I said at the same time. I glanced at him and accidentally made eye contact. My heart flipped when I looked into his emerald green eyes... No, I'm not in love with him. I can't be. I could feel a blush paint it's way across my face. I awkwardly looked away, and so did he.

"At least you're talking somewhat," Hermione said to me and Harry.

"So?"

"I'm sick of you two! Why can't you just at least be friends?!"

"Hermione, just stop-"

"No! You're acting so childish Anna!" She cut Harry off.

"You don't know what it feels like to love someone so damn much that you would take beatings, the cruciatus curse, and possible death for someone! And you don't know what it feels like to have them like someone else! So don't tell me what to do!" I yelled and immediately wanted to take all of that back. I could feel everyone in the common room's gaze on me, especially Harry's. I couldn't take it anymore so I just left. I walked to a wooded part and sat on a log. Maybe Hermione was right, but how would she know?
