Anna's POV

"Cool, we have the same free period!" I said happily as I looked over Reeve's schedule.

"Can you show me around the school?"

"Sure, I would love to," I said, happy to finally get my mind off the first task that was tomorrow. We walked and I showed her around the school. I also told her who to stay away from, and possible friends. About half way through, Harry joined us (probably because he didn't have Ron or Hermione to be with). And of course, we came across Draco...

"And that's my cousin, Draco. He's not that bad once you get to know him-"

"Not that bad?!"

"Harry, how would you know? You've never given him a chance! Anyways, I suggest you don't try to make friends with him right away unless he takes intrest in you. Lets just say he's not the nicest person..." I trailed off as Draco came over to us.

"What do you want, Malfoy?" 

"Oh no, here we go again," I muttered.

"Not so nice, are you Potter? Who's ghost girl here?" Draco taunted.

"Both of you, stop. I'm sick of your fighting, you bicker like an old married couple. And her name is Reeve, so if you're going to flirt with her, call her by her actual name," I snapped. Of course, Draco listened to me and shut up. But then Harry just had to start talking, and Draco got pissed off again.

"Yeah, just shut it Malfoy."

"You know, me and my father have a bet. He says that you'll last 10 minutes during the first challange. I disagree. I think you'll only last five!"

"Guys, just stop-"

"I don't give a damn about what your father thinks. He vile, and cruel. And you're pathetic!"

"Pathetic? I'll show you what's pathetic, Potter!" Draco exclaimed and pulled his wand  at out. I was about to disarm him when Mad-Eye Moody came out of the castle and turned him into a ferret. Harry and Reeve started bursting out laughing.

"Guys, its not funny!" I said, but I was laughing hard myself. 

"Alastor, is that a student?!" McGonagall asked in shock, coming out of the castle.

"Well, technically, its a ferret," he said, levitating Draco, the ferret, up and down in the air. After a while of messing with Draco, McGonagall finally was able to catch him and change him back. Draco stood up quickly (now in human form) and spun around, facing Moody.

"You! My father will hear about this!" Draco exclaimed shakily.

"IS THAT A THREAT? I CAN TELL YOU STORIES ABOUT YOUR FATHER!" he yelled and Draco ran as fast as he could away.

"Alastor! We DO NOT use transfiguration on students!" she said, turned on her heel, and walked back to the castle. Moody stuck his tounge out at her like a four year-old when her back was turned.

"Harry, Anna, come with me. I can help you with the first task," he said quietly so nobody else could hear.

"Okay," Harry said.

"I think I can figure it out on my own," I said coldly and left. I was still really mad at him, and I didn't trust him. Who in their right mind would show curses like that to a class on the first day?! Especially an arouror like him?! I decided to go see if Draco was okay.

"I'm going to go see Draco, will you be okay by yourself?"

"Sure. See you later!"

"Bye Reeve!" I said and we parted ways. I found Draco in the owlery. I cleared my throat, and he turned around.

"What are you doing here?"

"I came to see you, are you okay?"

"Just traumitized and humiliated..."

"It was your fault you know," I said sassily and crossed my arms.

"How?"

"You started it. You could have just listened to me and walked away. But nooo. You just had to pick a fight."

"I-"

"Look, I don't want to hear your excuses. I know you don't like Harry, but that doesn't mean you always have to be picking fights! You deserved being turned into ferret, because thats exactly what you are!" I exclaimed, ticked off. He was taken aback by what I said. Probably because I always was by his side. But he needed to be told that he was an immature idiot when it came to others. I always defended him, because I understood why he acted the way he did. But if he kept taking advantage of that, I would be done with him.

"Anna-"

"Are you going to stop acting like such an immature idiot?"

"Yes..."

"Good! Because I'm sick of it!"

"I'm sorry-"

"You should be! Now come here and give me a hug," I said, and he did so. I did love him, he was my cousin after all, but he had to stop being such an idiot.

"You're not going to let the whole "ferret" thing go, are you?"

"Never, ferret," I teased, and we let go.

"Please, just stop."

"Okay, fine...ferret," I said and laughed. He started chasing me around, and after a while he caught me. By that point, we were just laughing really hard like two wierd idiots.

"So, do you forgive me?"

"Of course. Sometimes you just need to be set straight. But I want you to know that I always will be there for you, as long as you don't cross me, or tick me off too much," I said, smiling.

"Good."

"I really need to get going Draco. I need to figure out what I'm doing for the first task tomorrow."

"Okay, see you later. And I know you'll do fine tomorrow."

"Bye," I said and left. On my way back, I ran into Cedric.

"Hey Anna," he said, kissing me on the cheek, making me blush.

"Hi Cedric. Have you figured out what your doing for the challange tomorrow?" I asked, (By the way, Anna and Harry did tell Cedric that the challange included dragons the day after they found out.)

"I think I'm going to use transfiguration-what's so funny?" he asked as I started giggling when he metioned transfiguration. I explained to him about what happened with Draco when he turned into a ferret. After I was done, we were both laughing really hard.

"Sorry about interrupting you. So, what were you going to say?"

"Oh yeah, I forgot thats what we were talking about. Anyways, I am going to use tranfiguration to turn something into an animal so that the dragon will be distracted. I know its not a good plan, but its last minute..."

"I think its brilliant!"

"So, what are you doing?"

"To be honest, I have no clue... I guess I'll just wing it..."

"Anna, you could die."

"I know..."

"You need to have a plan, and you need to be careful."

"Cedric, I'll be fine. Don't worry about me."

"Well, I do worry about you because I love you. I don't know what I would do if you..." he trailed off. He just hugged me tight, not knowing what to say. I could feel his heart beating rapidly.

"I wish I wasn't in this tournament."

"I wish you weren't too."

"But don't worry, I'll figure out. I'll just have to."

"I know... But if you need any help, I'm there for you."

"I know, I love you so much."

"I love you too," he said and we kissed. I loved how he was there for me. When I was with Harry, I felt like I always had to be there for him, and I had to carry his pain, and my own pain. Also, he would overreact about almost everything. With Cedric, I felt more free, if that makes any sense. Not that my relationship with Harry was bad, it was just harder, and we didn't have much time to actually be a couple. And if I die in this tournament, I want to die happy, not with a lot of pain and burdens.

Hi readers! Sorry if this chapter wasn't that good, but I promise the next one will be a lot better. And I'm also sorry to all of you out there who ship Anna and Harry. I feel like you all want to murder me right now... But things might turn around for the two of them, you never know. I honestly don't even know who Anna will be with in the end... I have so many different ideas for how this story can go, and I want to choose the best one. But the problem is, they are all equally interesting. So if you want to help, comment who you ship!
