They both reached the temple and go to the priest.

The priest applies tilak on the foreheads and then he says to Anirudh: Iss rasam me aapko apni hone wali patni ko utha ke sidhiyan (stairs) chadhni hongi....

Anirudh nods and turns to BONDITA.
Bondita then says: Hum bohot heavy hain... Aap gir padenge...

Anirudh chuckles and says: Madam... mai IPS aise hi nahi bana....

He bent down and picked her up in his arms. He looks at her and says: Kyun... Bola tha na maine....

He starts climbing the stairs. Bondita kept staring at him unknown to herself.

They reach up and he makes her stand.

They complete the other rituals and come back to the car and leave for home.

Anirudh was driving when someone showed hand for lift.

He stopped the car and saw two men standing.
Anirudh asks:Yes?

Man1: Kya aap hume lift de sakte hain...

Anirudh then asks: Kaun hai aap log...

Man2: Hum Forest Officers hain... Actually.. humari car kharab ho gayi hai...

Anirudh then: Identity Card dikhao...

They got nervous but before they could say anything Bondita said: Kya Anirudh Ji... kitne sawal kar rahe hain... Maang rahe hain toh de dijiye na lift...

He looks at them and then Bondita and then nods. They sit at the back seat.

Anirudh starts driving.

Bondita then asks them: Waise bhaiya... Aapka naam kya hai....

They both look at each other and then one of the replies: Mera naam Karan hai aur ye Arjun....

Bondita laughs and says: Woh salman Khan shahrukh Khan ki movie jaise Karan Arjun....

She was continuously talking with them. Just then one of them points a gun on her neck.

Bondita saw the gun and smiled

She snatched the gun from his hand and point to both of them.

Anirudh get shocked and stop the car.

Anirudh asks shockingly: what happened.... and... ye gun tumhare paas kya kar rahi hai....

Bondita replied: ye hamari nhi inki hai... Anirudh ji ye hame bandook dikha rahe the....

Bondita came out from the car and opened back seat gate. She hold their  collars and pull them out

Bondita then angrily says: Saale goli bhar ki size hai teri bandook (gun).... pakadte hue tujhe sharam nhi aati... Ek cycle lutne ki aukaat hai nhi aur ye car lutne Chala tha.. tujhe toh ham..

Anirudh then: Bondita tum chodo..... Mai batata hu...

Bondita leaves them.

Anirudh came to them and take out his gun: Now tell me... kaun ho tum log..... aur kya karne aaye the....

They pushed Anirudh and started running... Anirudh ran behind them.

Bondita shouted from behind: Anirudh ji.

She also follow them.

Both men stopped there because behind them their was a deep trench.

Anirudh came to them and point the gun

Anirudh says: batao Kon ho tum log

Man 1 to man 2: Tere pass do guns thi na.... doosri kahan hai...

Man 2: Let me check

He checked and take out the gun and point at Bondita.

Man 2: Agar tune gun chalai.... to teri biwi maregi...

Anirudh shockingly shoots them. They both were going to fall in trench but man 1 holds Anirudh's hand and they fell.

Bondita screamed in tears: ANIRUDH JI.... Anirudh ji.

She felt her heart stopped beating.

She started crying and shouting: Anirudh ji kahan Hain aap.

She went near the trench for searching him.

She fell on her knees and sobbed: Anirudh ji please.... vapas... aa jaaiye....

She was shouting and crying just then someone tap on her shoulder. She turned and saw Anirudh. She felt like she got her life back. She without thinking once stood up and hugged him tightly.

Anirudh first got shocked but he then hugged her back and caressed her hair.

Bondita was crying in his embrace.

He softly said to calm her down: Hey stop crying...see I m fine.. Mujhe kuch nahi hua hai....please mat ro....

Bondita then uttered while sobbing: h..hum..dar...dar gye the....

Anirudh then: Mujhe kuch nhi hua Bondita.... mai theek hoon...

She broke the hug and saw his head was bleeding.

Bondita then with moist eyes: Aapko chot lagi hai..... khoon bhi nikal rha hai.....

Anirudh then calmly holding her hand said: It's ok..... car me first aid box hai....

They both went to car. Bondita takes the Cotton and antiseptic cream. She started cleaning his wound. Anirudh was staring at her with all his love in his eyes. She dressed up his wound.

She uttered: Ho gaya

She looked at him who was already looking at her. She got lost in his eyes. She felt she didn't want to look away.

Anirudh broke the eyelock and uttered: Chalein...

Bondita hesitatedly nodded and he started driving.

Soon they reach Bondita's house. Anirudh stops the car. Bondita gets down and starts taking her steps towards her house and was lost in her thoughts.

Anirudh's voice halted her steps: Aree... Badi rude ho yaar... Bye tak nahi bola... Na andar aane ke liye kaha...

Bondita came back to her senses and she uttered: Sorry wo Mera dhyaan.... Kahi aur tha.... aap... aap andar chaliye na...

Anirudh smiled and said: Aree pareshan mat ho.... mai mazak kar raha tha.... aur waise bhi bohot der ho gayi hai... mujhe ab chalna chahiye....

Bondita nodded. Anirudh then said: So Byee... Agle hafte... Haldi me milte Hain....

Bondita chuckled and said: Haldi me mila nahi jata...
And she started taking her steps.

Anirudh uttered smiling: Par hum milenge
Bondita's steps halted.
Anirudh continued: Aur Anirudh Sethi ko... Uski dulhan se milne se.... koi rok nahi sakta.... Intezar rahega tumhara.... And he sat in his car.

Bondita blushed hearing his words. She turned as he started the car and drove away. She kept looking in the direction he went with an unknown smile on her face.

Haldi Day...

Anirudh got ready and came downstairs.

Dadi saw him and said: Kinni sona lag raha hai tu... Nazar na Lage...
And she take his balaiyan.

Anirudh smiled but his heart was craving to see someone.

He was restlessly waiting for Bondita. Dadi noticed him and understood everything.

She then said: Karle... jitna intezar karna hai...  dekhne toh waise bhi nahi milega...

Anirudh then exclaimed: Aree... Kyun...

Dadi then said: Puttar ji.... haldi ke baad se hi.... ladka ladki ek dusre ko nhi dekh skte....

Anirudh then: Haldi ke baad se na.... abhi toh dekh skte hain....

Dadi hits her head with her hand and uttered: Itna bada police officer ban gaya hai..... par dimaag..... Abhi bhi bacchon wala....

Anirudh pouts: Bataiye na Dadi....

Dadi then: Jab hoga... tab pata chal jayega... And she left.

After few moments
Bondita and her fake family entered.

Everyone greet each other. But Anirudh was not able to move his eyes from Bondita.

Her look:

Dadi then: Chalo Bhai... muhurat nikla Jaa Raha hai... Haldi ki rasam shuru karo....

Everyone nodded and  Jahnavi make Bondita and Anirudh sit facing each other.

Anirudh grins but soon he frowns when a curtain falls between them.

He then with a frustrated face: Ye kya hai... Ye parda kyun...

Pinky then: Isliye... Kyunki ab se shaadi Tak.... tum dono ek doosre ko dekh nahi sakte....

Anirudh then: Par... ye kya baat hui...

Dadi then: Chup kar khoteya... Yahi rasam hai aur... Tujhe ye manni hi padegi....

Anirudh sits quiet with a sad face.

Everyone starts applying haldi on them.
Anirudh was sitting with a disappointed face.

After the rituals
Samaira to Bondita: Bhabhi aap... Guest room me jakar... Fresh hojaiye... Aapke kapde bhi wahi par hai....

Bondita nodded.
Anirudh listened to their conversation and smirked.

Bondita was walking towards guest room when suddenly someone dragged her in a room and kept hand on her mouth to prevent her from shouting.

And it was Anirudh.

He removed his hand and she uttered surprised: Aap...

Anirudh then: Kyun... Nahi ho sakta....

Bondita: Nahi... Wo....

He took a step more closer to her: Wo... kya.....

She was nervous with the proximity: Aap hatiye... Hume change karna hai....
And she started taking her steps but Anirudh held her hand and pulled her closer and her back hit his chest.

Bondita closed her eyes feeling his breath on her neck.

Anirudh huskily whispered in her ears: Chali jana.... Pehle mai toh apni dulhan ko haldi laga doon...

Her heart skipped a beat. He slowly turned her to face him holding her arms. Her eyes were still closed. He blew gently on her face and she opened her eyes feeling his breath.

Her eyes got locked with his. He moved his face closer not breaking the eyelock. He gently rubbed his cheeks with hers applying the turmeric from his cheeks to hers.

She shivered and held her dress tightly in her fist. He slowly moved back and looked into her eyes. They were lost in the moment.

He again moved his face closer and gently kissed her forehead. She closed her eyes in bliss. He moved back and his slid up from her arms and held her face. He touched his forehead with hers.

Her hands moved up and and she held his hands which holding her face.

Their moment got interrupted as Dadi called Bondita. They suddenly got separated. Bondita blushed and left. Anirudh too shyly rubbed his neck and sat on the bed.

So here is the next chapter
First of all a very big sorrryyyyy for being so late.
I am too much busy in my college studies.
I am not even getting single minute for myself
