(Y/n)'s POV

The whole house was filled with nothing but the loud music blasting through the speakers. To my surprise, Wangnan had wasted all his money renting this expensive villa in order to hold a party to celebrate his defeating of Bam.

What a nutcase. Could a simple congratulations not satisfy his ego? A sigh escaped my lips as I leaned against the wall, watching the others knock themselves out.

Wangnan passed by and shoved a glass of champagne into my hands. I raised an eyebrow when he turned back and told me to have fun. To have fun...well, I guess I should. There was no point standing here like a loner.

I gulped down the glass before setting it on the table. I headed to the pool outside to see Yuri arguing about useless things with Urek. Khun was lounging on one of the benches while Rak kept pestering him about getting into the pool.

"Yo (Y/n)," Wangnan greeted.
"Hey."
"Why are you so tense? Loosen up a bit."
"Tch, loosen up? You were the one that decided to hold this ridiculous party."
"Come on, have another drink."

I took the glass from his hands and downed it in one gulp.

"Whoa, calm down," he exclaimed.
"You think I can get drunk from just two glasses? I can take a lot more than that."
"Well then, I challenge you to a drinking contest."
"Challenge accepted-"
"Hey (Y/n), can I talk to you for a moment?" Bam asked.
"Uh sure?"

I glanced at Wangnan, who just smiled as if the contest was still on. I rolled my eyes before following Bam back inside and to the second storey of the villa.

I swallowed the nervousness rising within my body and looked at him with what I hoped was a nonchalant expression. It was true that I had fallen for him but I could not tell if he felt the same about me.

We went inside a guest room before he closed the door. I sat down on the chair and leaned back, waiting for him to say what was on his mind.

I continuously opened and closed my fists, trying to calm myself down. This was obviously about something serious so why was I behaving like this?

"Hey, um...what information do you have on Fug?" he asked.
"Quite a lot."
"Would you be able to disclose some to me? You were a former member of Fug and-"
"What makes you think I'll give it away?"
"But...you're not affiliated with them anymore."
"That's right."
"Then why hide their secrets?"
"I'll tell you on one condition."
"What is it?"
"Be my boyfriend."
"W-what?"
"You heard me."
"*blush* W-well...sure."
"Eh? Really?!"

He just smiled and nodded. Before I had a chance to stand up, he leaned down and placed his lips on mine. He was hesitant and gentle, making me impatient.

I grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer, deepening the kiss. I could tell that he was embarrassed but didn't stop until he smiled. I looked up at him, an obvious blush on his face.

"You know, I have a feeling that I'll be the one protecting you in the future."
"*laughs* You might be right," he joked.
"So what did you want to know about Fug?"

~Some time later~

"(Y/n), are you sure you're okay?" Bam asked worriedly.
"You're asking me that? You should go knock him out. He's annoying the others...well, not that he doesn't do that when he's sober."

We stared at Wangnan, who couldn't even stand up on his own. *sigh* For all the boasting that he did, he sure was weak. Why did I even agree to it?

I pushed Wangnan into the pool. It took quite a while for him to come to his senses. Once he resurfaced, he splashed water on me but with a flick of a finger, I had deflected it back into pool.

"(Y/n)," Bam scolded.
"What? It was funny, wasn't it?"

This time, he couldn't help but smile. I gave his hand a squeeze.

"Watch out!" I heard Endorsi yell.

We turned around just in time to see Khun block the giant wave with his lighthouse barrier. I glared at Wangnan, who just poked his tongue out in return. What an idiot...

~A few years later~

Ran and I were sitting outside a small cafe, completely and utterly bored. Unfortunately, Bam had some 'important business' to attend to and the others were out doing their own things.

I twirled a spoon around my fingers while Ran had his head on the table with his eyes lazily watching everyone go by. Should we do something now?

"Hey Ran."
"I'm sleepy," he replied.
"Then why are you here?"
"Because you asked me to come."
"Heh, what a sweet little boy you are."
"Tch, just because I treat you like a sister doesn't mean I'm sweet."
"*laughs* Whatever."
"Isn't that your beloved boyfriend?"

I followed his gaze and noticed that it was indeed Bam...but he was with Endorsi. I must've been glaring at them because Ran placed a hand on my arm.

I took a deep breath before looking up again. This was definitely not okay. Why the hell was Endorsi kissing him on the cheek?! Were they on a date?! And for the whole day as well?!

"(Y/n)-"
"Don't try to stop me."

Endorsi had already left, which I honestly couldn't care less about. I angrily walked over to Bam and made him turn around to face me. He looked shocked to see me here.

"What are you-"

I pulled him into deep kiss, both angry and upset that he had had a date with one of Jahad's princesses behind my back. He pulled away and placed his hands on my shoulders with a worried expression on his face.

"(Y/n), what-"
"Are you dating her now?"
"No, that was just..."
"Just what? A 'see you later kiss'? Were you on a date with her?"
"(Y/n), please let me explain."
"You have one minute to correct my misunderstanding or I'm leaving."
"I promised Endorsi this date ages ago, on the floor of tests and that kiss meant nothing. I don't love her and you know she can't fall in love." I pouted.
"Don't make that face," he exclaimed.
"Why not?"
"It's too cute. I'm not sure if I can hold back if you're like that."
"*smirks* Oh really?"
"So...do you forgive me?"
"Hmm, take me on a date. I'll decide after."
"*smiles* Okay."

He grabbed my hand before placing a kiss on my cheek. I couldn't help but smile as we headed to the movies together, already leaving our worries behind.
