Feared Resolution (Diabolik Lovers - various x reader)

(Y/n)'s POV
The ten vampires had torn my heart apart. I had been broken to the very point of fearing them. The love in which they had drained out of my mortal body was never to be replaced ever again...or so I had thought.
Some were sweet yet frightening, others were protective yet forceful. I was left in a state of mental disrepair and found no glue to stitch back my confused mind. I desperately needed help.
"(Y/n), come play with Teddy and I," exclaimed Kanato.
"Um..."
"We won't take no as an answer."
"Like hell I'd let you steal her away," Ayato said while pulling me away by the arm.
"Do let go of her arm. It is quite moronic to see her being dragged like a rag doll," Ruki replied and twisted his hand away from my arm.
"Hold on. You were so adamant about us keeping our hands off the livestock and now what? You take her away? Tch, hypocrite," commented Yuma.
"Guys, stop arguing. She's mine, end of story," Laito interrupted.
I backed away against the wall as they continued to argue vigorously about who I 'belonged' to. I had heard that something similar had happened to a sacrificial bride named Yui. She was killed in the end for her...sweet attraction.
Someone suddenly grabbed my hand and teleported to the rose garden. Of course, Subaru was standing by my side with his eyes never leaving my face.
"I um..." he started.
"Hey, where do you think you're going off to?" asked Kou.
"I wasn't going-"
"Ne (Y/n)-chan, why don't you come with me?"
"Back off," Subaru exclaimed angrily.
"Why don't we solve this problem like civilised people? Ruki and I have come up with a solution to this dire situation," Reiji said.
"Then what do you two nerds suggest we do?" Ayato asked.
~A few minutes later~
Wow, this was amazing...the glittering fireflies and the moonlit pond. This clearing seemed to harbour lost hope and unkept promises. I felt the cool water against my skin as a small smile appeared on my face.
This was definitely something the brothers could not pull off. They were too...tainted and somewhat self-absorbed. I turned around to face them.
"(Y/n), we're sorry," Yuma said rather quickly.
"Sorry? For what?"
"What these idiots mean to say is that we love you. What we felt with Yui was nothing more than a desire for blood but with you, it's different," exclaimed Ruki.
"You're stealing the spotlight," Azusa argued.
"Can we hurry this up? I'm tired," Shuu said.
"You say that but you're secretly happy, right?" Ayato remarked with a smirk.
"Thank you so much!"
"There's no need to thank us-"
"We deserve a thank you though. After everything we went through..." Kou joked.
I turned back to face the glowing water. My reflection was as clear as crystal. That was, until I was pushed into the water by none other than Ayato himself.
I glared at him but he was too busy laughing his ass off to notice my annoyance. The others were smiling as if it was, at least, a little funny. As for me, I felt nothing but the freezing cold.
Yuma held out a hand and pulled me out of the water. I quietly thanked him as Kanato lent me a spare jacket, which he claimed to have brought for a situation like this.
"Don't you think...sooner or later...we'll get tired of sharing her?" asked Azusa.
"We'll worry about that when the time comes," Subaru replied.
~One week later~
I shivered in fear and watched the vampires as their eyes glowed, caught on the glint of the light. Their peaceful agreement had inevitably ended and now, here they stood...waiting to devour me.
I was trapped in a bird cage with nothing but a bed and desk. Unsurprisingly, birds flew around the top, as if to keep me company in this cruel imprisonment.
"Sad how (Y/n) has to face the same fate as Yui..." Kanato commented.
"It's inevitable. Love is...simply not something we can understand nor have due to our...rivalries," said Reiji.
"Then are we going to kill her?" Kou asked.
"That'll be such a waste. I want her," Laito replied while smirking.
Ayato opened the door and walked towards me. I held back a scream as he pierced my skin to drink my blood. The blood running down my neck must've triggered the others.
Soon, I was enveloped by their fangs and the darkness that wished to consume me. I longed for freedom in this endless maze...yet despite my suffering, my heart dared to hope.
When the brothers weren't fighting each other, they had won my heart over. I loved them all but this love could not continue when such a fight was occurring. Eventually, either them or myself would die.
"Hey (Y/n), do you want to leave?" Shuu asked.
"If it'll stop your useless fighting."
"Hurry up and go. Some of us aren't...as understanding," Ruki exclaimed.
He secretly unlocked the cage door and let me through. Subaru gave me a hand as I rushed to get outside. Their loud voices echoed throughout the mansion, suggestive of the fact that they had begun looking for me.
"Don't let her escape," Reiji said angrily.
"She's ours and only ours. We won't let anyone else touch her," Azusa added.
I managed to reach the gates outside and stood just inside, afraid of the unknown world. Believe it or not, the vampires had kept me safe but I was afraid that one day, they'd end being the danger that would kill me.
Even if I did leave, where would I go? They would eventually find me. I suddenly remembered all the past memories I had shared with them. They were...my friends. I had to ignore my fear and believe in them.
"(Y/n)...you're not going to leave...right?" asked Ayato.
"I..."
"You saw through their facade," commented Yuma.
"Facade?"
"We were only trying to scare you because we didn't want to lose you. The fact that you hesitated when you had the chance to escape probably means that you realised that we don't actually want to kill you."
"...if I stay, will you all continue to act like this?"
"Who knows?" Shuu replied.
"I...love you all so I'll stay but you guys have to promise not to do this again. I hate being treated as your blood bag."
"I suppose that's okay. We can always ask for another sacrificial bride," exclaimed Kou.
"Then it's settled."
I smiled at them as they looked at me with a resolved glint in their eyes.
