"So Nagisa, how was your first-half day of teaching?"

"It was a bit terrifying at first but I used the tactics that I learnt in assassination to help me." Nagisa let out a smile after describing how his first day went with his class as a trainee.

"E-EH? TACTICS LEARNT IN ASSASSINATION?"

"Yup. Why? Whats wrong Kayano?"

"Uh, nothing..."

Really, Nagisa? Kayano thought, thats not how you're suppose to teach a normal class... but he was most probably being a badass at it so whatever, eh?

Our two favourite ship on earth is currently on the phone with each other. It has became a routine for them to call each other at least once per week to catch up on what they missed. The both of them looked forward to this time of the week because it simply gave them the chance to hear each other's voice.

"Well, Kayano, how was your day then?"

They had long dropped the honourifics behind their names because, after all, its about time.

"It was okay.. except I accidentally slip on a water bottle..."

"EH? ARE YOU OKAY? ARE YOU HURT ANYWHERE?"

Kayano giggles a little. It was heartwarming to hear Nagisa being so worried about her. She initially thought Nagisa would probably laugh at her for falling on her bum over a water bottle while she can swing from trees to trees like a Tarzan without breaking a sweat, oh the sweet irony.

"I'm perfectly fine, except for dirtying my dress."

"Thats good to hear." Nagisa let out a sigh of relief, he was about to fly to Kayano right about now.

"Ne Na-Nagisa, are you f-free on-" 

"I'm sorry Kayano, I have to go now. The bell just went off. I'll catch up with you soon okay?" Nagisa then hastily hang up on Kayano. It was true that he was in a rush but Kayano was in the middle of her speech, god damn.

"Oh..." Kayano said to the phone with no one on the other end anymore.

Kayano was so close to asking Nagisa out, after all, it was close to christmas. It was also rumoured that it will be a white christmas. A white christmas was rare and couples normally would want to spend that time together. So does Kayano.

"Haruna Mase san, its time for your interview."

"Alright, I'm coming!" Guess she will not have to take leave for that day now.

-Nagisa's classroom-

"Alright class, thats it for today. Don't forget to bring your book the next lesson."

The whole class sprint out almost instantly because they still have the memory fresh of their boss being beaten so easily by Nagisa. No one wanted to be next so they are currently avoiding him. Nagisa knew that but he also knows that they will eventually open up to him soon enough. Or so he hoped. 

But something has been bothering him since his end of conversation with Kayano. He seemed to have missed out on something important that Kayano wanted to say but he couldn't put a finger to it. Nagisa then decided to text Kayano asking her about it. 

When she replied, she said 

Nothing, don't worry about it.

Nagisa being the dense guy he always was, took her words for it. People who are around him might have already slammed their head on the table.

-Timeskip to christmas-

Early in the morning, Kayano and Nagisa exchanged texts with christmas greetings.But it wasn't enough. Kayano was still bothered by not being able to meet Nagisa for a rare date so she decided to go alone. 

Nagisa today had a rare break because school was out. Nagisa decided that he wouldn't want such a beautiful chance to go to waste by staying at home. It was christmas too so maybe he could go out and get Kayano something. Nagisa assumed that Kayano was not free because she was suppose to appear on a 7pm show tonight as a christmas special. Nagisa then changed and left for the town.

The town was half filled with couples and families which made Nagisa jealous. He wanted to be like that too with Kayano but it was going to be tough but he was ready to face it. Nagisa walked in a souvenir shop and started to pick gift for the girl he liked. 

Kayano on the other hand was walking aimlessly around town too. She was not sure what gift to get for Nagisa because after all, it was their first christmas and she wouldn't know what gift to get for him naturally. Kayano gave up and sat a fountain, it was no longer working because of the cold temperature so it was rather safe to be there and not getting her dress wet. The fountain was said to be somewhat famous in the town but Kayano never knew about it. It was rumoured to be the fountain of couples, said to bring couples together for eternity. 

Nagisa was just done with his shopping and decided to visit the fountain that he had heard from the shopkeeper of the souvenir shop after the shopkeeper found out that he had a girlfriend. Nagisa was not really a huge believer of these sorts of things but what harm could happen?

Just then, Nagisa walked up to the fountain and saw a familiar face. Nagisa walked closer to confirm and was now sure that it was who he missed so dearly.

"KAYANO!"

Kayano looked up and was equally shocked. 

"NAGISA?"

They both met each other halfway and was more than just glad to see each other. They hugged and it started to snow. It was a rare white christmas.

It could have been the fountain's magic or the doing of Koro Sensei from wherever he was now or even, what they call love. Regardless, they were voted the most likely to get married in the future in the yearbook after all. Love was an amazing thing.
