However, strange things have been happening since the filmed murder of Tatara Totsuka, a member of HOMRA. But, the man who was recorded shooting Totsuka has an uncanny resemblance to Yashiro. Now the angry Red Members of HOMRA want revenge for their highly-acclaimed ally, and vow to exact revenge. Soon after, people realize that the person in the video, apparently Yashiro, also resembles the evil Colourless King, head of the Colourless Clan.
But Yashiro is completely innocent, despite the number of hitmen hired to assassinate him. Now the issue has drawn in other clans, and is ensuing an all-out war. Sadly, the person pulling the strings is much more dangerous than anyone could ever anticipate.
Opinion:
Okay, excuse my language, but this was officially the most clusterfuck anime I've ever seen. So confusing, but so amazing. Seriously, right when you think something's finally working out, you just get backlashed in the face with a cat-o'-nine-tails.
Right when you think people finally sorted their crap it, out turns out that THEY WEREN'T EVEN IN REALITY. Then the whole landscape is changed and it turns out that this is reality now, but... It's just...I can't... I can't explain how kickass it was!
K Project definitely earned a fair rating from me, and I'm pretty pumped for the movie coming out this summer. When it does, I'm gonna search the deepest and darkest places of the internet for somewhere where I can watch it for free and from my iPod. That wasn't as evil-sounding as I intended it to be.
Back to the story, this whole anime really made you question reality. Right when you thought something was real, it wasn't, and then the real reality took place, and then you wondered if anything ever actually happened. And the rivalry between all the groups was cool, but the ending... Oh my God, don't get me started.
Alright, you got me started. The ending was so sad! I won't spoil, but it was definitely pretty emotional, and something I didn't expect.
By the way, one of the character's names is Neko. Who the hell names a character "Neko"? That's just "cat"! It's like if I named my fish "Kangaroo." Or my labrador "Termite." Stupid people, I tell you...
Okay, so there isn't a lot of warnings for this one. Some blood, not a lot. Some language (which is funny because they swear in English even though they speak in Japanese the rest of the time). And mild sexual content. Let's just say that Neko hates clothes because they "restrict" her, and she loves jumping up and down and running with nothing on her.
Vote if you're a male and that last sentence got you thinking about watching this anime.
