Bleach
Title: Bleach
Owner: Tite Kubo
Genre: Action, comedy, adventure, supernatural
Rating: 7/10
Summary:
Ichigo Kurosaki has been able to see ghosts all his life. Everywhere he goes, he is forced to ignore them and not draw attention. But, this skill makes his soul stronger than others, and therefore more mouth-watering to strange evolved demons called Hollows.
Because Ichigo can see the dead, he's able to see Soul Reaper Rukia Kuchiki as she walks into his house, searching for the Hollow hunting his family. In a strange turn of events, Rukia is forced to transfer her powers to Ichigo to save his family. What's an even bigger surprise is that Ichigo's aura is thousands of times stronger than even Soul Reapers who have trained for centuries.
Rukia takes on a human body and begins attending school with the none-too-pleased Ichigo, solving mysteries about Hollows in the real world. One day, two other Soul Reapers come from the Soul Society, where Rukia originates from, and tell her that transferring her powers to a human is illegal and that she has exceeded her stay in the human world. The sentence for her is death.
But, Ichigo swears on his life he will save her if it's the last thing he does. With a few friends and guidance, Ichigo travels to the Soul Society to save Rukia.
Opinion:
Okay, (who notices that I say that a lot?) I couldn't fit everything into the summary. There is TONS more that happens than that, it's not just three hundred episodes about saving some chick.
Every time something major happens Ichigo's all like, "Don't worry, I got this." It's almost impossible for him to die with all the incredible power that he has! I don't think this is a spoiler because it's obvious, but other Soul Reapers get their asses handed to them on a silver platter whenever Ichigo's around. Rukia was strong to begin with, but then she kinda lost her awesomeness, then it went back up, and so on.
By the way, I'm aware that Rukia cut her hair near the end of the series and I just wanted to say this, and everybody listen carefully.
*SPOILER ALERT*
Mikasa Ackerman of Attack on Titan was taken in by a boy who acted as her brother. Kuchiki Rukia was also taken in by a man who is now her "brother." Not to mention that both of these women have a nearly identical hair style.
Eren Yaeger of Attack on Titan is a rage-filled boy who pledged to kill the things that killed his mother, and believes it's his fault his mom is dead. Then, he turned into exactly what he was trying to kill: a Titan. Kurosaki Ichigo is rage-filled and pledged to kill the things that killed his mother in front of him, and believes he murdered his mom indirectly. Then he turns into a Hollow, the things he's trying to kill.
COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT.
Seriously, think about it. It's ironic. Oh, but if you search up "Attack on Titan Bleach crossover" on Google Images, really boss fan art pops up. Some of the best crossovers I've seen.
As for warnings, there is some blood. A mediocre amount, not like a bloodbath but not just a paper cut. There is language obviously, just because everyone is Ichigo's bitch. There is really fricken hilarious nudity, just because in one episode Yoruichi TOTALLY hits on Ichigo while she was sitting cross-legged and naked (how's that image for ya?). Then he flipped, and she started poking fun at him and about how he's probably never seen a naked woman before. There's tons more besides that though, all for comedic purposes. Matsumoto is practically a walking censored bar, and then there's Orihime's jugs.
Vote if you have no clue why the show is called Bleach!
