Summary

13-year old Rachel Gardner awakens to find herself trapped in the basement of an abandoned building. Without any memories, or even a clue as to where she could be, she wanders the building, lost and dizzy. In her search, she comes across a man covered in bandages. He introduces himself as Zack and he wields a grim-reaper like scythe.

A strange bond is struck between them, strengthened by strange, crazy promises...

As they descend each floor, obstacles await them every turn. The two willingly fight to survive these obstacles to fulfil the promise made between them.

These two, trapped in this strange building, don't know why fate has placed them there. But they will work together desperately to find a way out...

This anime consists of 12 episodes plus 4 more additional episodes (16 episodes in total) that continue the story from there. They also have an English dub that goes by the name "Angels of Death" which includes all 16 episodes plus an ongoing manga adaption with only 7 volumes currently out

RaysLittleAngels actually first introduced me to this anime (y'all should go follow her! She's amazing!! Also, go follow XxDarkNekoMirokuxX and SierraFireCat as well, they inspired me to watch the anime too!). Ever since then, I've been wanting to watch this anime, but I was told that it was horror, so I was a little nervous about it to be honest 😅

I actually went to the bookstore and found the first volume of the manga and I remember flipping through the pages and being instantly weirded out 🤣. I tried to understand what the storyline was, but I couldn't get it right away. A few days after that I went to the house of the friend who introduced me to Himouto! Umaru-Chan and Aikatsu Stars (She showed me a bunch of more anime, so you'll probably be hearing about her a lot. See previous chapter and chapter three for more details) and it turns out that she watched Angels of Death as well! So we started to watch and at first glance, I was so very very confused 😅. We were actually watching the English Dub of the anime and all I could even hear were Zack's constant swearing 🤣 (after every part of his dialogue, there's always a swears coming out from his mouth). Although I did really like the voices for the characters! As well as the Japanese

Favourite Character:

Rachel and Zack seem like a great pair to me, I really like their relationship. I also liked Eddie, I found him cute.
