Prompt: PMMM characters in the Inuyasha world!
Thanks NorthernLion196 for the request!
Madoka falls into a well.
"Aaaahhhh," was all she could say during the descent; she thought that would be her end but the crash never came.
She finds herself in a sort-of-forest.
"Where am I?" That was her first question; one that most people would ask if they survived falling into a well only to land up somewhere unknown.
She spots two females looking up at her while she lay on the ground.
"What are your names and who are you?"
They are surprised with her appearance in general — especially the clothing.
"Whaaaaa? You answer first."
"Okay then."
Madoka reached out her hand to shake that of the blue-haired girl.
"I'm Madoka from a faraway place. I don't know how I got here. Nice to meet you."
Sayaka didn't take her hand, not knowing what was to be done.
"There is a custom between people, where I'm from. It's a sign of a beginning friendship. Two people reach out an arm each and grasp each others' palms and shake it; like this."
Madoka demonstrated it using both of her own hands. Sayaka and Mami then took turns shaking her hand till it started hurting. They then formally introduced themselves.
It was soon after that when Madoka nearly fainted. She was out of it for a couple minutes and somehow, the duo could guess what happened. They just didn't expect it for her; then again they didn't expect her arrival either.
The Shikon Jewel starts talking to Madoka.
It showed itself to her. The guardian of the above-mentioned gem was a cat-like being, which would swish its tail about rather excitedly. Madoka heard someone talk; she couldn't comprehend where the sound came from or whether it was even addressed to her.
Do you really wish for something in this world?
There was nobody with her. The surroundings were a sea of dark colours, ranging from purple to blue and green. Despite that, there was a little light at what she assumed to be the centre. That could only mean that she had to answer before the surroundings got even worse.
"Nothing really."
All she wanted was to go home, she just didn't want to ask yet what the price would be for that wish. Perhaps taking the help of the people whom she met would be safer. If that didn't work, then she'd decide what to do.
Madoka comes back into full consciousness.
"Whoa what happened to you?"
Sayaka interrupted,"Let me guess what it is. You had someone ask you for a wish?"
"Hmm" Madoka nods.
"Don't ever fall into that."
They advise her with a deadly tone, now joined with another voice.
The arrival of yet another person who wants to talk to Madoka.
Madoka seemed have gone into overdrive with the excessive action taking place on a single day. She needed answers — immediately.
"May I ask you who you are?"
"Akemi. Homura Akemi. Don't ever make a wish with that foul creature."
"At least tell me why."
"I'll show you. Guys, we need to go now, ASAP. Follow me, Madoka."
Madoka wondered how she knew her name, nevertheless she followed them — the only proper chance she would have at returning home.
They were barely walking around for five minutes, when they saw it. The being showed its face. It looked female, but they couldn't tell for sure.
"Another one of Kyubey's minions. Then again they're not even the same species as it," Sayaka muttered.
They transformed into Magical Girls. Sayaka and Homura charged at the creature, sword and bow in hand. Mami stayed at a distance to attack at long range, and also to protect Madoka.
It wouldn't relent, no matter what anyone did. Mami and Homura then exchanged places, oblivious to the fact that another person joined the group.
"What in the blazes are you all up to? You can't even defeat this sad thing? Let me show you how it's done."
She held out a spear and climbed onto the demon's back. After that she stabbed it, and simultaneously used the flail on the creature. It jerked, and nevertheless she was unaffected by the move.
"Stop staring already and being useless."
The others, barring Madoka were spurred into action. While Kyōko held it in place, Mami and Sayaka were distracting it.
Homura stopped time. She got in a couple shots and attached bombs to its legs and one on the forehead.
Time restarts.
The bombs took a second to ignite, just after Kyōko jumped off the being. With the monster confused, Sayaka held out her sword, screaming "Meido Tetsusaiga." Along with her was Homura holding out her shield and gem. The two objects sucked in the demon till it was never seen again. Their gems darkened.
Madoka was on the verge of fainting. She was barely able to process what transpired within the first hour of entering said world. She pinched herself, hoping it was just a dream. No such luck.
"What was that?"
"It's a familiar, which would grow into an even bigger demon. They attack people and lead them into doing evil. All of us here thought we'd be able to eliminate this problem by wishing for it to go away. It didn't work, wishes don't work."
"You've heard the wish bringer call out to you, right?"
"She heard it? Oh, I so wanna kill that Incubator already."
"So do we. But we don't know how to destroy the Shikon Jewel. The only thing we can do is wish until someone comes up with the right one."
"Those are basically death wishes. Whatever you do, do not make a wish with the Incubator. Please."
Homura let out a sigh and took Madoka elsewhere.
"Are you happy with your life outside of here?"
Madoka eyed her with suspicion. Although this would be very out of character for her, she chose to intimidate Homura.
"How do you know my name to start with? Also why are you asking me such things?"
She couldn't keep up the act so she answered Homura's question.
"I like my home better. It's very different from here ... "
She went on to tell her what life was all about in her world — her family, school and the like. Homura wasn't surprised — perhaps she was incapable of being shocked. That stoic mask was definitely hiding something.
That one evening, it all changes.
Walpurgisnacht came out of the shadows, her power radiating off the sky in waves. There were only the five of them out of which Madoka hadn't wished yet. Homura appeared to look up in disbelief while Sayaka, Kyōko and Mami tried to fight the witch. Walpurgisnacht plucked them like flies, sending them all to their deaths as their Soul Gems shattered during the plummet. There were no corpses. It was just Homura and Madoka left against that monstrosity. They only once heard of something as vile, namely Naraku who was defeated not too long ago.
Homura told Madoka to run, which she didn't do. They had no time, no escape. Nothing until that Incubator showed up again. This time in person, Madoka met up with the wish-granting being. She could barely process Homura's shrieks, possibly because she never heard anything of that sort. Ever. She was about to make a wish, when an apparition occured to her alone.
A girl with this green and white uniform and long hair waves her hands.
Madoka could only guess that that would be Kagome, whom she heard so much about.
"You know what to do. Just do it now. Now is the time."
That was all before the apparition ended. Madoka finally managed to utter the sentence she would have to, to end it once and for all.
I wish ... I wish that you disappear ... Forever.
