Anyway this one shot was requested by deku_really so I hope you enjoy it 😊

3rd pov

(Y/N) carried two plates of food into Shintarou's room, his hands shaking slightly as he did so. He placed Shintarou's food next to him and took a seat on the bed before eating his own food.

Shintarou didn't even look up from his monitor as the food was set down. (Y/N) came round a lot to make sure that Shintarou didn't die and also just to hang out. He'd been friends with Shintarou for quite a while and couldn't deny that he'd grown feelings towards the NEET.

Shintarou stood up and headed out to the toilet, leaving (Y/N) alone in the room. Well not necessarily alone...

"You're such a dummy (Y/N)." The boys eyes darted over to the large monitor to see Ene. She was giggling and smirking at (Y/N), who just sighed and continued to shove his sandwich into his mouth. "What do you mean?" (Y/N) grumbled at the computer girl.

"It's so obvious you like him it's kinda sad that you've not told him." Ene sighed, crossing her arms. "Ene. Are you forgetting something? Unlike me, he's not gay!" Ene jumper back behind a tab from (Y/N)'s outburst.

The room went silent and the day just went on. Later in the day, (Y/N) left and as Ene thought of their conversation, a mischievous idea popped into her head.

She went onto the internet and searched 'Love Potion'

A few days later, the package arrived, disguised as a regular can of coke. Not giving enough of a shit to question it, Shintarou took the coke and drank it. As he drank it, he noticed the weird taste of the drink and coughed. The front door rang causing Shintarou to placed the 'coke' down and go to answer the door.

As he opened the door, his eyes landed on (Y/N) and he felt a wave of emotion wash over him. W-What is this feeling?

Your pov

You sat on Shintarou's bed, red in the face and confused out of your mind as your best friend held your arm close to him. "(Y/N) I don't know why I've never noticed this before but I love you so much."

Your heart stopped and your eyes widened. For a second you thought it real but you quickly realised it wasn't. There was no way. Something was wrong.

"Ene." You said bluntly, watching her pop out from behind an opened tab. "Y-Yes (Y/N)." She laughed nervously, showing that she definitely had something to do with this.

"What did you do to Shintarou?"

Ene explained what she'd done and by the end of it, you were in disbelief. "Ene how could you do that to him?!"
Shintarou looked up at you, his eyes filled with longing. "There's nothing wrong with me I'm finneee~" Before you could stop him, Shintarou had pushed you down onto the bed with him on top of you. He snuggled down into your body and you were quick to stop him.

"S-Shintarou no!" You quickly pushed him off and glared at Ene. Did that Potion make him Submissive too!?

You sighed and stood up, trying to work out what to do. "Okay Ene search for an antidote to this on the website you got the stupid Potion from." She nodded at your request and began searching through the Internet. Within seconds she'd found what she was looking for.

"I've found it!!! But..." You snapped your head to the screen and sighed with annoyance.

"The quickest we can get it is in a week."

You decided that leaving Shintarou alone was not a good idea at the moment and decided you'd stay at his for the week until the antidote arrived.

You set your bed up on the couch in the living room and began to watch some videos on YouTube. It became late and you started cooking. You weren't the best chef but you could make a mean pasta. Once the food was done you called Shintarou in to the dinning room to eat.

"But I usually eat in my room..." He said in a uncomfortable voice. You smiled, his usual personality was still there. "I know but you should eat here." He nodded gleefully, and your smile dropped a little. The potion made him so... Different?

As you ate your pasta, he smiled and said. "This is like a date."

You looked up, hiding the pain that was running through you. "I guess so huh."

As the week went on, Shintarou kept on flirting with you and trying  advances on you. You refused all of them obviously. You weren't gonna take advantage of him.

Two days left till the antidote arrives. You thought. This would be over soon... As you sat there in thought, Shintarou walked in and sat on the couch next to you. "Let's watch something together." He held up some popcorn and a blanket. You blushed, trying to think of whether you should do this or not. "Okay..." You gave in and grabbed the remote. You turned it to Netflix and let Shintarou choose what to watch.

"Hmmm. How about Red Dwarf?" You grinned at his suggestion and nodded. You and Shintarou watched Red dwarf a lot together. As you watched the show and laughed, you felt Shintarous head fall onto your shoulder. As you looked at his sleeping form, you felt your heart break.

You knew this week would be difficult. The boy you loved was expressing feelings towards you! But not by his own choice. You couldn't just take advantage of this. It wouldn't be fair on Shintarou. You knew he wasn't gay. You knew he'd never accept your feelings.

That's what made this hurt the most.

The next day you received a knock at the door. You opened it up to see a postman with a box in his arms. It had come a day early!

You thanked him and unwrapped the box. This one was also disguised as a coke can. What the hell is wrong with the people who make these? You questioned.

You walked into Shintarous room to find him playing games on his PC. "Oh (Y/N)!" He stood up, abandoning his game and hugging you. You looked at his and sighed, not wanting this to end.

"I love you (Y/N)." He muttered, his face buried into your shoulder.

"I... I love you too Shintarou." You confessed after hiding it in all week. He looked up with shining eyes that were full of happiness.

"Shintarou. Your game." You pointed at the monitor and he quickly went back to it. You placed the can of 'coke' down next to him and watched as he opened and drank it.

He stood up and began to cough. He fell down and you quickly caught him. "They did say it would knock the person out." Ene said in a low tone.

"At least it's over now." You choked out and placed him into his bed. You went back into the living room and started packing up your things.

You had a feeling Shintarou wouldn't want to see you after this. You felt tears running down your face and you rubbed them away. "I'm strong. I'll be fine."

You finished packing after 15 minutes and heard a door open behind you. You refused to turn around as footsteps approached you.

"(Y/N)." His voice sounded glum.

"Shintarou...I guess you're back to normal now." You laughed uncomfortablely and reluctantly turned around to face him.

"I-I was just about to leave. You d-dont have to----"

"Don't leave (Y/N). Please..." His voice sounded desperate. You looked down. "Shintarou do you remember what happened when you were under the influence of that Potion?" He nodded in response, his eyes looking away from you.

"Then you r-remember how I-I feel?"

His face went a slight shade of red as he nodded. You gulped. It felt like your entire world was collapsing around you. You'd never be able to show your face to him ever again. Tears tried to escape your eyes but you held them in.

"(Y/N)... I can tell what you're thinking. And it's not true. I don't hate you. You know throughout this week I've realised something. Look I'm not the best with feelings but there's no one I care about more than you. You make me actually feel like I'm worth something. And I know for a fact that no one cares about me more than you do."

Your bag fell from your hands."Shintarou but... I didn't know you were into guys." You mumbled. "I'll be honest, I didn't think I was. But I've realised it doesn't matter. You are an the best person I've ever met and your gender won't stop me from... Loving you." He blushed and stepped closer to you.

"I spent the whole week trying to come onto you and I'm sorry about that. But maybe we could start doing stuff like that now..."

Your eyes widened and you placed your hands onto his slender figure. "I'd like that." You smiled at him and started your new relationship with a kiss.
