Story Title: She's clearly in love with you

Hey guys! How have you all been? I got tickets for the Gorillaz concert in London next year so I'm SUPER HAPPY 😁 This was requested by KianaGomez8 a few months back! Sorry about the wait and I hope you enjoy! This one will be set in an AU where everyone is human and in high school.

Your pov

"Hey Grimmy!" I yelled as I ran up to the grouchy boy. He looked back, rolling his eyes slightly at the nickname but smiling nevertheless. "Sleep well last night?" He laughed, noticing how messy my hair was. "Shut up I woke up late. Thanks for waiting by the way!" I yelled back at him, pulling a brush out of my bag to try and tame my terrible bedhead.

Me and Grimmjow were childhood friends and had lived opposite each other since we were little. We usually walked to school together but the grumpy arse decided to not wait today. "Wanna walk me to my class?" I ask him as I change my shoes. "Hmmmm...how about no?" He answered back, a grin plastered across his face. "You suck!" I yelled at him in a jokey way as I went to run to my class. I didn't get very far as I bumped into someone, sending me straight on the floor. 

I looked up and nearly threw my heart up when I saw the guy I had ran into. Nnoitra! 

"(Y/N) you alright?" I hear Grimmjow ask from behind me. I could practically hear the grin on his face. He knows fully well how I feel about Nnoitra!  I turn my attention back to Nnoitra to see he was holding out his hand. He was looking down at me with his one eye, the other one covered with an eye patch. Some girls found that scary but I didn't. He still looked amazing to me.

"You gonna grab my hand or not? We'll be late." I grabbed his hand and jumped up, dusting myself off. "Sorry I ran into you." I laughed awkwardly, trying to hide my blush. He looked over at Grimmjow and then back at me before tutting. "Tch come on!" He muttered before grabbing my hand, dragging me along to our classroom. I could feel my face heating up and my mind began to scramble as he pulled me along, people looking at us as we passed them.

"Nnoitra! Hey! I can walk ya know!" He stopped and took his hand away from mine, looking down at me with a grin. "You wouldn't think so considering you fell over before." I looked at him with a flushed face. "Let's just go into lesson!" I squealed before stomping over to our classroom door. We both entered and sat in our seats, which just so happened to be right next to each other.

3rd person pov

As the lesson went on, (Y/N) looked over at Nnoitra who was clearly not paying attention. He was so tall and lanky he looked uncomfortable sat at his desk. The tall lad would every now and then look over at the girl next to him, frustrated with how fast his heart began to beat when he saw her. 

One question kept playing over and over in his head. What does she feel towards Grimmjow?

He knew they'd known each other for a long time but hated that he didn't know anything more. Wasn't it the cliche that childhood friends fall in love? At least that's what Nel had told him. He didn't want to wait too long and lose his chance, but he didn't know when was the right time. 

I need to do something soon...

Lunch finally came and Nnoitra turned to (Y/N). "Eat lunch with me." She gave him a confused look before a smile spread across her face. "Is that an offer or a command?" Nnoitra stood up, his height giving him a domineering presence. "It's a command." (Y/N) felt a blush spread across her face as she giggled. "Let's go to the roof then."

When they reached the roof Nnoitra was disappointed to see Grimmjow already sat there, scrolling through his phone. "Who invited the kitten?" He sighed. Without even looking up, Grimmjow held his middle finger up to the taller boy. "Fuck off. If I'm a kitten you're fucking slender man." 

"Grimmjow don't be like that!" (Y/N) said as she sat down, signalling for Nnoitra to sit next to her. "Eh?! He was being a dick too! Why am I the only one getting shit?" Grimmjow looked over. The question was redundant, he knew why she was treating Nnoitra differently. It was beginning to piss him off that she wouldn't just confess to him already. 

"So are you two a thing?" (Y/N) felt herself choke on her food and she turned to Nnoitra, her eyes wide. "W-What?!" That is the last thing I want him to think!

Grimmjow had a look of disgust on his face before he let out a low laugh. "Are you fuckin serious? Firstly she's like a sister to me and secondly, she's clearly in love with you." There was a long moment of silence. Grimmjow just kept eating nonchalantly whilst (Y/N) glared daggers into him, her face bright red.

"And this is where I leave. Have fun guys." Grimmjow stood up and left, leaving (Y/N) and Nnoitra to just stare at each other in shock. Eventually, Nnoitra's large signature smirk crept onto his face and he reached his arm over, easily pulling the girl into his lap. "So you like me huh?" 

"Well...yeah..." (Y/N) confessed, looking down at his chest. "Heh. That's good cause I like you too." He ran his hand through her (H/C) hair. She looked up at his face and without a word kissed him. Nnoitra leaned into it, wrapping his arms around her as she did the same. When they pulled apart (Y/N) gave a lazy smile. "I'll have to thank Grimmjow later." 

Sorry if that was shit! I know it's been a while! I'm actually working on a new fanfiction with every chapter having a drawing to go with it so it's taking me some time. I hope you'll read it when I eventually post it!
