Story Title: I'm Innocent 

Hey guys! Heres a mini update. Yep. It's been months I know. Pretty crappy aren't I? I'm well aware of how lazy I've become with writing.  Sorry for being shit 

How's everyone doing stuck at home? I'm partly going insane but hey at least I don't have to take my a-level exams. Can't tell if that's good or bad. Really hope none of you have been affected by COVID-19 cause man this whole situation is fucked. Just remember, stay inside, wash ya hands and protect the NHS lads. Do ya part!

This was requested by SophTheMeatLoaf quite a lot of months ago. Sorry about that 😅  Anyway hope you enjoy.

"It wasn't me I tell ya! I'm serious!" I screamed as I was dragged by two juniors of the USC with their President, Mari Kurihara, leading them. "We caught you clear as anything! You are going to the Prison!"

"Please, NO! It wasn't what it looked like!" There was no changing the mind of Mari Kurihara and just like that, I was thrown in the school's prison. As I sat on the cold bed, I heard the slight murmurs of the boys in their cells. I could clearly hear that I was the subject of their conversations. The prison clothes were too tight and I missed my warm jacket. I wanted nothing more than to be back in my dorm room. 

In the morning, Instead of being sent into the main area with the rest of the prisoners, I was confronted by Meiko, the Vice President and someone who I had recently been getting closer to. I felt relieved that it was her but my relief would be soon taken away from me.

"I have been ordered to monitor you alone whilst you serve your time here. You'll only be here for a week and even though this is a punishment, I thought it would be better to keep you away from those perverted boys." 

I nodded silently. She pulled up a wooden chair and placed a tray of food down onto my bed before pulling out a book. "Are you not going to talk to---"

"No I am not going to talk to you." I looked at her, slightly shocked before realisation hit me. "You think I did it?" I received no response and so I placed the tray onto the floor and lay down, facing the wall.

For half an hour I lay there, my untouched breakfast on the floor. "You should eat." Meiko said, her eyes staring at the food on the floor. "I don't feel like it. I feel so ill I could be sick." I said, my voice hoarse from crying the night before. 

"You only feel bad that you were caught." She said, a hint of disappointment in her voice. I quickly turned and faced her. 

"I did not spray paint the wall!" 

"You were caught at the scene of the crime and you are very well known for being one of the more...outcast students." I felt my eyes water as she said that. Outcast...That's what people see me as?  How SHE sees me...

"Just because I have no friends...Does not mean I am automatically someone who will graffiti a wall! I was just walking by! There was this group of other girls who were graffiting and they ran just before people arrived so I was blamed! I did nothing." Meiko looked at me, her eyebrows frowning before she looked away.

"Just eat your food." She said and left.

She returned later on and took away my still untouched tray of food.

"(Y/N)..." She sighed as she sat down on the bed next to me. "Look I don't think you'd do something like this. It's just you were there and Mari says it was you."

"See that's the problem Meiko, you're so obsessed and devoted to Mari that you haven't even looked for evidence! You just listened to her. You watched as I was thrown in here, stripped like an animal and thrown into a cell! This is inhuman!" She looked guilty.

"I thought you'd at least see me for who I am and know I'm innocent but you can't get your mind off her! She's controlling! You won't even question her at all!"

"And why should I listen to you!?" She shouted, causing your eyes to go wide. "Meiko...I thought we were...Well I thought we had something. Did it mean nothing?" Meiko looked taken aback. I breathed unevenly, tears wanting to escape.

Hana's voice rang through the cells along with the boys and Meiko stood up. "(Y/N) I'll try and look into this for you. I promise." Meiko whispered before leaving. I didn't respond, my heart feeling like it had been trodden on.

Once the boys were placed back into their cells, everything returned to silence apart from my own heavy breathing and choked sobs. They attempted to talk to me but my cries were the only answer they got. I felt bad to just dismiss them when they were clearly concerned but I had one thing on my mind. Will Meiko actually look into this?

Meiko's pov

I slowly made my way to the USC office. Mari's with her sister so I'm sure she won't be there. I slowly opened the door and found the room to be empty. I approached Mari's desk and opened her computer. Luckily I knew the password. I felt sweat drip down my body as I was going against Mari. This is okay right? All I'm doing is checking something...She won't mind.

I entered the password and started quickly sifting through to find any evidence of (Y/N) doing the crime. I had to be quick before Mari got back. She wouldn't like me on her computer. I found files involving CCTV of the school. Perfect.

I found the right video and began to play it. I fast-forwarded it until I saw movement. A group of girls spraying the wall and suddenly running away before (Y/N) stepped into the frame. I couldn't believe what I was watching. She's innocent. Why hasn't Mari seen this?

All of a sudden the door opened and Mari stood there, her eye's wide to find me on her computer. "Mari. This CCTV footage shows (Y/N)'s innocent! We put her in there for nothing! We need to let her go now!" I was about to rush out of the room when she spoke. "Meiko why did you go onto my computer? Why did you find that video?" 

I looked at her confused. "You've already seen this?" 

Your pov

I felt cold in my cell as Hana brought my food in. Whilst everyone else ate in the main room, I was bound to this small cell. "Eat your food." She growled at me. "I'm not hungry." I replied, curling into a tighter ball. "All you do is cause trouble." She sighed before approaching me. I felt my whole body freeze and before I could react, she'd grabbed my hair and dragged me down from my bed. "Fucking EAT!" 

I screamed out loud, my sobs clearly alerting the other prisoners here as I heard them call out to ask what was happening. "You can't treat me like this! I'll tell everyone how horrible this place is when I get out! This is inhuman!" I sobbed out through the pain.

"As if anyone will believe you! You're an outcast and well, we're extremely popular with students. They won't believe you or care." She ragged on my hair even more before slapping me down to the floor in front of the tray of food. "Now EAT. Before I force you to."

I heard the sound of heels approaching and both me and Hana stared at the empty hall. Around the corner appeared Meiko. Her eyes were red and she'd clearly been crying which shocked me. She came into my cell and looked at the situation I was in. "Hana. Get out." 

"But I was told by Mari to--"

"I SAID GET OUT!" My eyes were shut tight, but all I heard was silence followed by footsteps walking away. "(Y/N)?" I opened my eyes and found Meikos face staring back. "What is it?" I asked. She looked almost horrified. She didn't say anything but instead wrapped her arms around me. "I should've listened to you. I should've never doubted you. I'm sorry." We didn't move for what seemed like hours before she leaned back and explained what had happened.

"She was controlling me. Said I was starting to spend too much time with you so when she saw the opportunity she put you in here for 'my own good'." I looked down, part of me shocked whilst part of me expected it to be this way. "So, what are you going to do now?" 

"I'm going to get you out of here. And then I will never leave you alone again." She said, standing up. I nodded, tears still in my eyes as she helped me up and grabbed hold of my hand. "Let's go."

Yeah that was probably crap but yeah. sorry bout that.
