Story Title: You're my Nurse 

Hey guys! Woop Woop here we are with another request! This was requested by YachiruUnohana a long while ago! Sorry about that 😅

"Captain Kenpachi is coming!" One of my fellow nurse's screamed out, causing the rest of my surrounding colleagues to rush out of the room. I couldn't blame them those squad 11 guys would never stop making fun of us. 

I stood my ground taking one for the team as I heard the sound of Kenpachi's loud voice enter the building. He was led towards me by a scared guy who quickly left the room after. I had never met the 11th squad Captain in my life but now he was towering in front of me. "This way Captain." I said before turning around and leading him to a private room to heal his wounds. He was covered in blood and his Shihakusho was completely ripped up at the top, making it so his shoulder was exposed.

"You afraid of blood or something?" He grumbled as he sat down on the bed in the room. "Captain I am a nurse. Blood is a part of my daily life. So the blood doesn't bother me." I said as I prepared myself to start healing him. His eyebrow rose at my blunt response and a smile appeared on his face."Bet you've never seen anything as impressive as these injures though!" He laughed as he fully removed the top of his ripped Shihakusho, leaving only the pants on.

Is he bragging about his injuries?  I thought as I sat on the chair next to the bed and began to use Kaido to heal him. He surprisingly stayed still during the whole experience but even then I couldn't help but feel on edge. He looked incredibly strong and intimidating with those large muscles. "So how did all these injuries happen?" I questioned, hating the long silence.

"Training with my squad. I wanted all of them to give me everything they had!" He grinned, tensing his muscles. I began getting some bandages out to cover the wounds after healing them. I couldn't help but marvel over his body it was by far the most impressive I'd seen.

"That explains the amount of squad 11 boys we've had in today." I murmured as a wrapped the bandages around his chest and shoulder. Damn he's massive! I thought as I felt myself standing up to try and get the bandage all the way around. I heard a gruff laugh escape Kenpachi's lips. "I never noticed how good the nurse uniforms here were until now..." 

I felt my face go red as I quickly finished his bandaging. "Y-You're all done Captain." I said with a cough to try and compose myself. He smirked and stood up, grabbing the top of his ripped Shihakusho before walking towards the door. "Oi. What's your name?" He asked suddenly, making my heart jump slightly with shock. Why the hell does he want to know why my name?

"My name is (Y/N) (Y/L/N)." He left without another word.

For the next two months, it seemed every time Kenpachi needed to be healed he always asked for me to heal him. Of course, no other nurse wanted to heal him anyway because they were so scared of him so I always helped him when he came in. Every visit I worked up the courage to talk to him more than the last visit. 

"Welcome back Captain!" I said with a smile on my face, patting the hospital bed for him to sit on. This time the injury was a large gash from the top to the bottom of his left arm. "I told you to drop the captain and just call me Kenpachi." He replied with a grin, his gruff voice somewhat making me feel relaxed. 

"I couldn't do that Captain." I began to treat him as we started our conversation. He surprisingly treated me with some respect considering how he and his squad usually treated squad 4 members. As I listened to him talk about something Yachiru had done, my heart began to feel warm in my chest. I don't understand why I was feeling this way. 

The healing was finished quicker than I wanted it to and it seemed like even he didn't want to leave. "It was nice seeing you again Captain." I was about to walk to the door when I was pushed against the wall by Kenpachi who had a rather frustrated look on his face. "C-Captain?"

"Why won't you call me by my name?" His voice boomed and his high stature over me made it so I couldn't move away. "It's d-disrespectful to y-you...I mean you're a captain and I-I'm just a nurse." His look showed me he wasn't taking that for an answer. 

"Besides...I-If people hear me calling you by your name...they'll think I'm someone closer to y-you." He thought for a moment before moving his face closer to mine. His expression held none of the usual brute force it usually did and instead was quite soft. "So what if they think that. I wouldn't care." My heart nearly exploded out of my chest as I tried to decipher what that comment meant. 

"So...Will you call me by my name?" 

"Yes...K-Kenpachi."  His signature grin appeared on his face and he moved away for me. "Good." And with that single word he left the room. Breath I didn't know I was holding in escaped my lips as I slid down the wall onto the ground. My heart was beating faster than ever before and my mind was in scrambles. What did that mean? His face...I can't tell if that meant more...

It only took a few days for the other nurses to notice your rather close relationship with the wild Captain and it wasn't long before rumours began to spread. He'd started calling you out in public when you were walking around the Seiretei which of cause caught peoples attention. A few of your friends were already teasing you about it. Of course, no one dared to say anything when Kenpachi was there in fear of what he'd do.

Two weeks past and on my day off I was called into Captain Unohana's office. When I arrived there I was surprised to find the Captain wasn't there but Lieutenant Isane was. "Ah (Y/N). How are you?" I smiled and told her I was fine. I felt lucky to be in such a nice squad where even the lieutenant and Captain knew my name.

"So why was I called here Lieutenant?" I asked as I took a seat on the opposite side of her desk. She reached into her desk and pulled out a slightly crumpled letter. I looked at it with confusion as she passed it to me. "Captain Unohana said I should give it to you I don't know who it's from." She said, sorting out some of her paperwork. I nodded and opened it, my eyes reading over the poorly written handwriting within. 

My heart began to beat rapidly as I realised this was actually from Kenpachi himself. The letter said he wanted to meet me on a field close to the Seiretei and that I should come alone. Why would he write a letter to tell me this? That's not like him at all. I wonder what he wants to talk about? Maybe he just needs me there for some quick healing whilst his squad trains. Yeah, that's probably it. It couldn't be anything special. I'm not that special to him. He's not that type of guy.

"So who is it from if you don't mind me asking?" Lieutenant Isane's voice pulled me back into the real world and I quickly shoved the letter into my pocket. "No one really." I muttered before bowing and leaving.

I made my way to the place he asked me to meet him at with some medical supplies. When I arrived I was surprised to see it was just him and his squad was nowhere to be soon. Even Yachiru wasn't there. He was sat on the grass, his hair blowing slightly in the wind as I approached him. 

I was about to call him Captain but the memory of him pushing me against the wall flashed into my mind and I quickly corrected myself. "Kenpachi?" His head snapped back to face me and he looked me up and down. My usual pink nurse uniform had been switched out for a normal everyday Kimono I had considering this was my day off. 

"I mean I like your nurse uniform but this outfit is also good." He grinned at the blush that appeared on my face and told me to take a seat next to him. "So why did you call me here Kenpachi? I mean letters aren't exactly your thing." 

"Yachiru's the one who said I needed to write a stupid letter. Said that's what men do when they confess." He said with his usual gruff voice. "Oh right." I said before we both went silent again. 

...

WAIT...CONFESS?!  My brain finally caught up and realised what he said to me.  My face exploded red and I heard Kenpachi laugh out loud. "K-Kenpachi...Confess? What do you mean?" I looked at the ground, too embarrassed to look him in the eye.

"Exactly what I said. I'm confessing I love you. You're the perfect women to me."  I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It felt impossible that a Captain, especially Kenpachi of all the Captains, would fall in love with me.

"Look I'm not good at saying all that feelings shit." He muttered as he turned his body to face mine. "But I'm being serious." I looked up at his face and before I could say anything more, he slammed his lips against mine. The kiss was rough and passionate and was made more passionate by him easily pulling my body on top of his as he fell back onto the grass. 

We pulled away from each other to only catch our breaths. "Kenpachi aren't you worried what people will say? Especially people in your own squad. It's not like Squad 11 really respect people like me..." He held me close to him and said in a gruff voice.

"No one will dare say shit about you or they'll have me to see to." 

"But I'm just a nurse..." I said, my insecurities refusing to let me believe I was good enough for him.  "Yeah but you're my nurse." His response was so simple yet said so much. I snuggled closer to him and said exactly what was on my mind. "I love you too Kenpachi."

Hope that wasn't too shit for ya guys. Lockdown still be shid but we can get through this. I am so tired my sleeping pattern has been bombed into the fifth dimension along with my sanity and my care for life. 

My anniversary was last week. Me and my boyfriend watched Princess Mononoke on Netflix Party whilst on video call. 😍  Yeah not actually being with him made me sad. Coronavirus can suck my big non-existent cock.
