Story Title: Invisible when she's around

Hey guys! Woah I'm keeping up with these requests at a good pace I'm proud of myself for once. This was requested by AshliDinkelman so I hope you enjoy it!

Being Yuu Kashima's sister had never been easy. Her appearance was pretty, girls and guys loved her and she was amazing at acting. Of course, I loved her more than anything. She was my sister after all but I felt like I wasn't as good as her. I was in the same year as her, having been born a few minutes after her, and also in the drama club but I didn't have her beauty or her acting ability. I was subpar at best. 

"(Y/N)! Could you come help me with these stage backgrounds?" I heard Hori call me and turned around. "Sure Hori-Senpai!" I quickly ran over to him and sat down next to him, grabbing a paintbrush. "How have you been Hori?" I asked, blushing at how close we were. "Ah I've been well (Y/N). I've noticed your acting recently has gotten better I'm proud of you." He said as he continued to paint the board. His compliment only made me blush even more. "T-Than--"

"HORI-SENPAI!" I heard my sisters voice fill the room and a slight sigh escape from my mouth. Hori instantly turned his head and gave her his full attention. "You skipped class again today!" He scolded her. "Hey Nee-chan." I said from behind him, trying not to show how disappointed I was that Hori and I weren't alone anymore. "Hey (Y/N)." She waved at me only to receive a kick from Hori. They went on bickering and I decided to just leave, not being noticed as I left.

It always felt like I was invisible when Yuu was there. 

I went outside and sat down on the grass. Does Nee-chan like Hori?  Even just thinking about it made my heart tear. Not only cause I'd hate to like the same person as my sister but also because I knew if we did I'd lose against her. My mind drifted to Hori and I felt myself smiling. He had never been anything but kind to me and I felt lucky to be a part of his drama club. I wish he acted more though. I didn't care that he was too short his acting makes up for it tenfold. 

"Hey (Y/N) what's wrong?" I turned and saw Chiyo. She asked if she could join me and I nodded. "Oh Chiyo it's Hori and Yuu Nee-chan again. I hate this feeling so much!" Chiyo knew about my feelings and put her hand on my shoulder. "(Y/N) I don't think Hori likes your sister. I mean have you seen the way he acts towards her?" 

"I know but whenever I'm around them I feel like I'm invisible! Compared to Yuu Nee-chan I'm nothing. She so beautiful, why would he love me back?" She gave me a sad look and tried to cheer me up.

A while later the bell rang and I headed back to class, feeling a bit better thanks to Chiyo and having been outside. "Hey (Y/N)!" I turned and saw Nee-chan running with Hori close behind her. She jumped behind me and used me as a shield. "Protect me (Y/N)!" She whined, not wanting to go to her lesson. Hori stopped in front of me, his face red from running. "Kashima don't use (Y/N) as a SHEILD!" 

"You wouldn't hurt (Y/N) to get to me though..." She said. Hori looked at her for a second, then at me for a second before sighing in defeat. "No I wouldn't." I felt myself go red once again. How does he do this to me?  I thought, looking away from his eyes. "Nee-Chan, please just listen to Hori-Senpai and go to class, please?" I said, looking at her with pleading eyes. She groaned and nodded. "Okay Okayyyy." She said and I moved to stand next to Hori.

"JUST KIDDING." She yelled and ran off. "OI GET BACK HERE!" Hori yelled. He looked at me apologetically before beginning to run after her. "Sorry (Y/N) your stupid sister is a pain in the ass!" He shouted back to me as he ran after her. It was always him running after her. I went to my lesson and found myself unable to focus on what the teacher was saying. Eventually, school ended and I headed to the drama club. I got there and once again found Hori shouting at Yuu. He didn't even notice me come in. I was going to say hello but decided against it and just went over to work on painting the background.

I shoved my earphones in to try and block out the sound of them both. I found myself bopping my head a bit to the music and singing along under my breath. "Come together, right now...over me." I felt a tap on my shoulder causing me to jump. "W-Who was-- oh...Hori-Senpai." He knelt down next to me. "You didn't say hello when you came in." He said with a sad tone.

"Oh sorry, you looked a bit busy yelling at my sister." I awkwardly laughed. 

"Yeah...I'm sorry (Y/N)." I looked up at him confused to why he was apologising. He rubbed the back of his head uncomfortably. "(Y/N) I hate to admit but I heard what you said to Sakura before." I felt the colour drain from my face and my mouth went dry. "O-Oh...Sorry..." I looked down, not wanting to see the disapproval on his face.

"You shouldn't apologise. I should be the one to apologise. I never realised how I was making you feel. I didn't mean to give you the impression that I liked Kashima. In fact, that was the complete opposite of what I was trying to do." My head shot up to face him, my eyes wide. "What do you mean?"

"(Y/N) there's a reason I refer to you by your first name and your sister by her second name. I always try to spend time with you but Kashima and other stuff always end up getting in the way." His face was slightly red but the smile on his face was making me melt. "B-But Yuu Nee-chan is so beauti--" 

"No you are." He interrupted me, putting his hand on mine. 

"Kashima is nothing compared to you. I love you not her." I felt like my heart was about to burst. "I promise I'll try and spend more time with you (Y/N). That's if you...accept my confession?" 

"Y-Yes! Of course I accept! I love you too!" I hugged him but went to hard causing him to fall onto his back and me to fall on top of him. "A-Ahh Hori I'm s-so sorry!" I mumbled out, trying to get up. "HORI-SENPAI WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY SISTER?!" Kashima suddenly shouted from across the room. "Yuu Nee-chan it's not what it looks like!"

"EVERYONE HORI-SENPAI IS A PERVERT!!" She walked off, screaming that at the top of her lungs.

"KASHIMAAAAA!"
