Story Title: Joining the student council

Hey guys! Sorry it's been a while! Ayano from YuruYuri is so awkward and cute I love her! This was requested by Pansit-kantot quite a while ago. Sorry it took so long! 

"So you want to join the student council?" Sakurako said as she looked (Y/N) up and down. The girl nodded shyly, looking down at the floor. "I didn't expect you to want to join the student council (Y/N)." Himawari asked as she looked up from her book. 

"I-I just thought it would be fun and interesting." (Y/N) smiled, hiding her true reason for wanting to be in the student council. "Well it's up to the President to decide whether you can join or not." Himawari said as she stood up from her seat. "She's probably with Nishigaki-Sensei, we'll go get her!" Sakurako rushed out of the room, Himawari quickly following her. (Y/N) awkwardly took a seat, looking around the room. 

Maybe I'll finally be able to get close to...

The door opened quickly causing (Y/N) to come face to face with her crush, Ayano Sugiura, the vice president of the student council. "S-Sugiura-Senpai..." She choked out, her face becoming slightly red. I've only ever watched her from afar!

"Ah (Y/N) (Y/L/N)! What are you doing here?" She asked, Chitose appearing behind her. "O-Oh I'm thinking of joining the student council!" (Y/N) mumbled, looking at the girl with a blush. "Really? That would be great!" Ayano said in a loud, awkward voice. Thankfully the girls returned with the Student council president and Nishigaki-Sensei.

"She says that's fine! Just complete this sheet." Rise handed (Y/N) the paper and she started writing. She handed it back and awkwardly smiled at the group. "I hope we work well together."  

Over the next few months (Y/N) started to get closer to the girls of the student council. She was already friends with Sakurako and Himawari from class but easily got along well with Chitose and especially Ayano. They were great to be around and (Y/N) enjoyed their daily antics with the Amusement club. The only part she didn't enjoy was watching Ayano and Kyoko interactions.

She knew what she was sighing up for when she joined the club. She knew she'd see this every day but it still hurt. I'm just happy as long as she is...

It was the first day after half term break from school and (Y/N) was currently sat in the student council room doing some paperwork. Rise was sat in her seat, silent as usual, also writing. "Hey (Y/N)! How was your break?" Himawari and Sakurako greeted her as they walked in. "It was great! Could you come and help me with this paperwork?" They both nodded, though only Himawari actually helped of course. 

"Hello!" Chitose and Ayano entered the room, the first having a slight look of shock on her face. Ayano took a seat next to (Y/N) and give her a shy smile. "Let me help you with this (Y/N) (Y/L/N)!" (Y/N) felt her face explode pink as she nodded shyly. She turned towards Chitose, noticing her face and with concern asked her what was wrong.

"Ah. I'm fine (Y/N)-San don't worry. It's just..." She stopped and looked at Ayano who was staring at (Y/N).  She thought about what happened in the hallway just before. As usual, Kyoko has had appeared in front of her and Chitose. 

Usually, Ayano would be incredibly embarrassed about being around her yet this time, she seemed to speak to her with more confidence as if she was anyone else. She had noticed a change in Ayano's interactions with Kyoko over the past month but this was the first time she had seen her act like that. Chitose took off her glasses and didn't see what she usually saw. Her fantasy of Ayano and Kyoko wasn't there. 

Does Ayano not like Kyoko anymore?  Did something change over the break? If not her then who?

Chitose came out of thought and looked at Ayano and (Y/N). Maybe... She removed her glasses and instantly blood shot out of her nose. It's true! They like each other! "Chitose?! You're bleeding!" The girls all stood up, grabbing tissues. "It's wonderful..." She mumbled. 

After cleaning up Chitose's mess, everyone sat back down with a sigh. "I thought Ikeda-Senpai only did that when Sugiura-Senpai and Toshino-Senpai were close? Does that mean (Y/N) and Sugiura-Senpai like eac-" Sakurako found Himawari's fist in her face as the blue-haired girl silently squealed at her to shut up.

The whole room went silent and all eyes went to (Y/N) and Ayano. Ayano's face was bright red as she realised how obvious she must have been with her feelings. She turned and looked at (Y/N) who was staring straight down.

"S-Suguria-Senpai..." She slowly looked up at the girl, her face just as red. "(Y-Y-Y/N) (Y/L/N)..." Both of them didn't know what to do. What do I say!? Do I make a m-move?! Ayano screamed in her mind. (Y/N) looked up with a flushed face and stared into Ayano's eyes. She quickly leaned forward and kissed her cheek before rushing to the door. 

"I LIKE YOU AYANO SUGIURA-SENPAI!" (Y/N) yelled before running out of the room. Ayano's face nearly exploded as Chitose fell to the floor, blood draining from her nose. Everyone looked around at each other with shock at what just happened.

"I-I'LL BE BACK SOON!" Ayano yelled before running out, going after the girl she had falling for.

Sorry if this one was shit! It was quite difficult writing about Ayano. 😅 I hope you enjoyed either way. I'm sorry I've not been posting recently I've been quite busy with other things.
