Gakuen Alice (Yr. 2004-2005)

Summary:

Mikan Sakura grew up with her grandfather on the countryside of Japan. When her best friend, Hotaru, transfers to a prestigious school in Tokyo, Mikan follows her. The school is actually an elite Academy for gifted people with "Alices," an ability that is unique depending on the individual being. Once Mikan arrives to the gates of the school, she encounters an Alice teacher named Narumi, gets enrolled due to a series of events, and is told that she possesses a rare Alice. Despite her initial view of the so-called greatness to the school, Mikan slowly discovers that beneath the grand facade of the Academy, there is a never-ending stream of lies and buried secrets. The school's increasingly manipulative and sinister actions towards her make it a dangerous place to be. Little does Mikan know that her enrollment in Alice Academy set the gears in motion to an even greater tragedy.

Own Opinion

Gakuen no alice is a simple anime with its simple characters with magic. Actually i was bored with this anime and it took me a long time to love it. Maybe because it was lacking some action that the manga has. I don't know. Well if i were i will read the manga first. Its more exciting there and the plot is really progressed.

Summary:

Miyu Kouzuki is an 8th-grade student whose parents leave for the United States to work for NASA and arrange for her to stay with their long-time family friend, Hōsho Saionji (a monk who lives in an old temple atop a hill). However, the monk leaves soon after for India on a year-long voyage, leaving Miyu to stay in the same house with his son, Kanata.

Suddenly a UFO lands – transporting an alien baby, Ruu, and his cat-like "sitter pet", Wannya. They arrive after being separated from their home planet, Otto, when it falls into an interplanetary worm hole (a time warp which can transport objects across several regions, planets and time planes). They cannot return to their home planet because it is too difficult to reach; Wannyā asks Kanata and Miyu to allow them to stay in their house, and they agree. Miyu and Kanata learn from Wannyā that people from Planet Otto look identical to human beings, and that Wannyā can also transform into human beings, animals and objects.

Own Opinion

Ufo baby! I love this anime! I had watched in some t.v. channel where it was english dubbed. It was so cute! A teenage girl and a teenage guy living in one house and suddenly an alien baby came to their house and he called them mama and papa. Isn't it enough to convinced you that this anime is so cute? I just love it because of its comedy and cute romance. Its the typical love-hate story but the romance is different in others. I just love it so you should watch it. Nevermind the graphics its old so we cannot do anything about that just watch it!

Fantasy Recommendation No. 2

Wagamama Mirumo De Pon (Yr. 2002-2005)

Summary:

The main protagonist is a love fairy named Mirumo (Mirmo in the English version). Kaede Minami (Katie Minami in the English version) is a cheerful and energetic eighth-grader who is shy around her male classmates, which makes it difficult for her to date. One day, on her way home from school, she walks into a mysterious shop and buys a blue cocoa mug. When she arrives at home, she peeks into the bottom of the mug and discovers an engraved note which says, "If you read this message aloud while pouring hot cocoa into the mug, a love fairy ("muglox") will appear and grant your every wish." The skeptical but curious Kaede follows the directions and announces her wish to date Setsu Yuuki (Dylan Yuki in the English version), her crush. Mirumo arrives. At first she is afraid of him but later understands that he is a muglox. Kaede soon finds out that Mirumo prefers eating chocolate and creating mischief over helping Kaede.

Mirumo is a prince of the muglox world. Horrified at the prospect of having to marry Rirumu (Rima in the English version), his princess bride-to-be, Mirumo escaped the muglox world. Hot on his heels, however, are Riruma, Yashichi (Yatch in the English version) the bounty hunter, Murumo (Mirumo's brother), and many other muglox as well. The villains of the first season are the Warumo gang, a gang of criminals who plan to overthrow the Marumo kingdom. Though they are villains, they actually aren't evil; they just pull childish pranks and faint after hearing an evil plan.

Own Opinion

This anime started it all why i'm doing this chapter. I'm currently rewatching this anime because its so adorable! With all the bouncing cheeks and cute romance about the two protagonists. Some of you might think its a childish anime but you are wrong! Definitely wrong! This anime has also its mystery and action. By the way i can't remember when i had watched it but i think i was 7 years old and now i'm sixteen it really brings back all the memories. Wish you will also watch it but i also wish you can find the episodes.

Fantasy Recommendation No. 3

Shizo/Mushrambo (Yr. 2000)

Summary:

In the distant past, the Guardian of the Milky Way galaxy named Lanancuras began to harbor a desire for more power. Because of his connection to the galaxy, he was able to absorb parts of planets and add them to his strength. As a result, he began invading the worlds he was assigned to protect. In the wake of his destruction, a following of creatures from across the galaxy pledged allegiance to Lanancuras and became known as the Kadrians. Taking notice of his ever growing power and followers, the other Celestial Guardians confronted him; however, he had become too powerful, and they were defeated. Unable to subdue Lanancuras, the Celestial Guardians each gave up a part of their power and combined it into a single new Guardian, Mushra. In a final desperate attempt, they used Mushra's core by transforming it into a powerful card with which to seal Lanancuras in a prison. The prison was created from the remains of planets that had suffered under Lanancuras' tyranny. Because planets are themselves large beings, their combined strength- along with the power of the card- was able to restrain him. Thus Lanancuras was successfully sealed in a large meteorite.

Own Opinion

Well i haven't watched this anime yet but i need to watch at least three episodes to review it and the only thing i can say is...I'M HOOKED! Its good! I'm telling you! The aura of this anime is similar to radiant mythology and it had a good first impression for the first episode. So you should not miss it.

Well there you go! Some of the old anime that i have watched.  I really missed anime shows with many episodes but now some anime only have 13 episodes or even 10 and sometimes in the ending they will feuture a new character. WTF HOW WOULD I KNOW WHO THEY ARE?! -_- sorry about that, its just irritating with all the cliffhangers in the current last episode i had watched.
