My Review: For someone who doesn't play nor am very interested in sports, this anime really got me hyped up. It's quite interesting how the story was made in a way that the prodigies, while super OP in skill, aren't going into like supernatural abilities. Though it is kind of like they have superpowers because damn their skills are next level. Like watching the show really made me wanna go out and play some ball. Plus the comedy is gold.
I think this anime started the sports anime trend because a lot more started coming out over the years like Free! and Yuri on Ice!!. Haikyuu was animated by the same studio so if you watched Haikyuu, maybe you should check it out too if you haven't already.
