Synopsis: Otonashi Yuzuru awakens only to find himself dead. A rifle-wielding girl, Yuri, explains that they are in the afterlife and Otonashi realizes the only thing he can remember is his name. Yuri tells him she leads the Shinda Sekai Sensen (Afterlife Battlefront) and wages war against a girl named Tenshi. Unable to believe Tenshi as evil, Otonashi tries to speak with her, but it doesn't go as he expects. Otonashi decides to join the SSS and battle Tenshi, but finds himself oddly drawn to her. While trying to regain his memories and understand Tenshi, he gradually unravels the mysteries of the afterlife. (Taken from myanimelist.)

My Review: Came for the hype, stayed for comedy, live for the plot and feels. Honestly one of my favourite anime as a kid. Can't believe I watched this 10 years ago. It's crazy. The honest feels... you'll never be ready. No matter how much people hype up how much it hurts, you will never be prepared for it. Like I rewatched it and it still gets to me. So if you're looking for comedy and want to end in tears, this is the anime for you.
