Camping Oneshot

All eight stick figures got in the van that would take them to the camp site. "This is our first time going camping! This is gonna be so much fun!" Pink squeaked with excitement. The girls, as well as Brown, had never been camping before, which really a came as a surprise considering how much they all seemed to love the idea. They each had one backpack, a few of them had a duffel bag as well, while The Second Coming had a picnic basket full of the food that they would be eating. "I hope that there will be a lake or a pond." Navy said as the van started moving.

Red and Green quickly sat down and put their backpacks underneath their seats. "What's it like going camping? Is it all fun or is there anything annoying about it?" Brown asked. "Camping is all fun depending on if you like all of the activities that come with camping." The Second Coming answered. "And how long will it take to get there?" Brown asked. "It will take a while, but we can pass the time by just talking." Brown sighed and hoped that this camping trip would be as fun as the others made it out to be.

................

The van finally came to a stop just outside a place called Specky Woods. "We're here!" Blue said enthusiastically. They all grabbed their stuff and stepped out of the van. "So, now what?" Navy asked. "We go into the forest and find a fire pit that was set up for campers to use and pitch our tents around." Yellow responded. "Did we even bring a tent?" Pink asked. Blue and Green both held up their duffel bags. "Yeah, but we've only got two, so we have to share."

"You know I've heard spooky things about these woods." Red spoke up. Everyone turned to him. "What do you mean?" Blue asked. "I've heard that sometimes when some campers come into Specky Woods then either some or all of them never return." Chills ran down the spins of the girls, but the rest of them just shrugged off what Red said. "Save the scary stories for tonight, when we're around the camp fire." The Second Coming said.

As the van drove away they all walked into the woods,  looking for the fire pit. They had to go deeper than they anticipated. "There it is! Finally!" Green said. They walked toward the spot that Green pointed out, and the fire pit was right there. "Alright, let's get our tents set up." The Second Coming said as he put down the picnic basket and his backpack.

They each split into two groups of four and set up both tents, taking their time to make sure that they didn't mess it up. When they finally finished setting up the tents they all took a step back and looked both tents over for a moment. "There we go, perfect." The Second Coming said. "Oh, I forgot to mention, the rain around here is very acidic for some reason, so it burns your skin when it touches you. The driver of the van told me this as we got on and said that it's very important to know this." Second added.

They all stared at him for a moment. "You might have been lied to SC. Why would rain be acidic?" Red said. "Well we'll just have to wait until it rains and see about that." Second Coming said. "Let's just explore the woods before night fall." Blue said. "Ooooh! That sounds like a great idea!" Pink said enthusiastically. With that they all raced off to check out the rest of the woods.

............

Once the sun had set they were all back at the camp ground. Blue had gone back before everyone else and had started a fire. They all had eaten by now, sitting on log seats around the camp fire, and had decided to start telling scary stories. "Ok, I'll go first." Red spoke up. They all nodded and listened. "Out in this world is a spirit who loves to possess people and use them to hurt, and even kill, people. Especially people that try to help the one who has been possessed in the first place."

While Pink, Navy and Brown were listening intently, the others weren't listening as much, they all knew where Red got this one from. "This evil spirit could be anywhere at any time. Maybe... even... BEHIND YOU!!!" Red shouted. Brown didn't react but the girls whipped around to look behind them, there was nothing there.

"Red! Don't mess with us like that!" Pink whined. Red giggled at that, while the others each had a smirk on their face. "Well maybe we should-" Green began but cut himself off when a black figure with white eyes and a huge creepy smile dropped down and floated just over the camp fire. "Run!" Yellow screamed and ran off into the woods. The others all ran off as well, but Navy was frozen in place, staring at the thing in complete shock and fear.

She tried to get up and run but she couldn't move, she was completely frozen with fear. The figure slowly turned towards her, it's creepy smile never leaving it's expression. As soon as it was completely turned towards her it stayed that way for a second and then zipped towards her. Navy screamed in pure terror and now finally being able to move again, trying to run, but it was too late. The figure stabbed her, cutting her scream off and then disappeared as Navy's world went black.

With the silence filling the air the others cautiously walked back, regrouping as they did so. "What was that thing?" Pink asked, shaking from the adrenaline rush. "I don't know, but it doesn't look friendly." Yellow responded.

They all started to head back to the camp site but it suddenly started raining. "Ouch, ouch! The rain really is acidic!" Red said. "I saw a cave near here when we were exploring the woods, we can take shelter there." Brown said. "What about Navy?" Pink asked, concerned. "She'll be fine, I'm sure of it, let's just get out of the rain." They all followed Brown as he rushed to the cave, which was closer than the tents were.

"I guess we're sleeping here tonight." Yellow said. They each curled up on a spot on the floor and tried to sleep. A little bit before they all dozed off they heard something from outside. It sounded like a deer that was terrified, at least to Red and Pink it did. They all just shrugged it off and fell asleep.

.............

The next morning they went back to the camp site, stopping when they saw a dead deer near the camp site, which worried Red and Pink. "Maybe a bear killed that deer." Green suggested. Both Pink and Red shook their heads. "A bear would have eaten most of the deer. Something killed the deer for sport, not for food." Pink said. "Never mind, it's not that important, let's just get back to camp, I'm sure that Navy is waiting for us there." Brown said.

When they got back to their camp site they were greeted with a horrifying site. Navy was bent over a log bench, her face twisted in a look of terror and her eyes were open. There was dark blue blood pouring out of a wound on her chest, she didn't seem to be moving. "NAVY!!!" Both Pink and Brown screamed as they both ran towards her.

While the others stared in horror, Pink put her ear up to Navy's chest, listening for heart beat, not caring about the blood that got on her. Slowly, she picked her head back up, tears in her eyes. "She's dead." Pink almost whispered. Her body was cold to the touch, she might have died before it even started raining. Red walked over to Pink and wrapped an arm around her. "I'm so sorry Pink." He said softly. Pink did say anything, she just let the tears in her eyes fall, sobbing as she stared at Navy's lifeless body.

Brown's expression was unreadable as he held a hand out to rest on Navy's body. The Second Coming looked away from the scene to look around the camp site. "Oh no! One of the tents has been destroyed!" He said, catching everyone's attention. "We're gonna have to sleep in that cave again aren't we?" He added, not pleased with having to sleep there again.

"I guess it wouldn't be fair for just some of us to sleep in the tent tonight, so I guess we all have to stay in the cave again." Brown said. "I don't think I wanna stay in a tent anyways." Pink said between sobs. "Why can't we just go home?" Yellow asked. "Because this time we didn't bring anything to contact someone to come and get us and we also aren't going to be seeing anyone pass by until the last day that we will be here." Second Coming answered.

"Well then let's just make the most of the rest of the day." Green said. "And let's make sure that Navy gets a proper goodbye."

............

They were all back in the cave and it was raining again. They had laid Navy's body near the pond. After all, she had been the one who had wanted a pond or lake near the camp site, so it was only proper to lay her to rest there, at least until they leave so that they could properly say goodbye. They had tried to convince Pink to just let them bury Navy's body somewhere in the woods but she refused. She wanted to be able to visit her dear friend's grave at any time.

"Well, let's eat those sandwiches." Yellow said. "Wait, where's the picnic basket?" Green asked, glancing around. They all stared at each other for a moment and then realization hit them. They had forgotten the picnic basket! "Red! You were the last one to leave the camp site! Why didn't you grab the picnic basket?" Brown questioned. "Hey! Don't blame me! Do you think it would be easy to remember something if someone just died!" Red shot back.

"Guys! Guys! Calm down! Nobody is at fault here, how would we remember to grab the basket after this?" The Second Coming said, breaking up the fight before it could escalate. "Somebody has to go grab the basket." Green said. "I'll get it." Pink said. Before anyone could respond she rushed out of the cave entrance. A few seconds later they heard her scream in pain and only a few second later she was back in the cave entrance, limping with a bear trap clamped shut on her ankle.

"WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?! WHY ARE THERE BEAR TRAPS NOW?!?!" Blue screamed in shock. Brown rushed over and helped Pink get the bear trap off.  Once they got the bear trap off Brown turned to the others. "I'll get the basket." Brown said, and just like Pink he rushed out of the cave entrance before anyone could respond. Brown carefully avoided the bear traps, gritting his teeth from the pain of the rain splashing on his skin.

He soon reached the camp site and grabbed the basket and ran back to the cave, avoiding the bear traps. As he passed by the well, the figure that had appeared the night before popped up out of the well for a moment, startling Brown and making him run as fast as he could to get back, almost stepping on a bear trap in the process. He got inside and placed down the basket, panting hard from running so fast.

"Well, let's eat." The Second Coming said as he reached into the basket and pulled out a sandwich. They each grabbed a sandwich and started eating. After they finished eating Red reached into the basket to grab the sandwich that would have been for Navy. He leaned over the basket, and he suddenly froze, staring into the basket with a look of horror on his face.

"Red? Is something wrong?" Green asked. Red looked up from the basket, his face a bit pale. "There's poison in here! Someone poisoned one of the sandwiches!" Red responded. They all stared at Red in pure horror. "So someone else is going to die?!" Pink choked, barely holding back her tears that threatened to fall. "It looks like it." Red almost whispered.

They all glanced around at each other, wondering who it was that was going to die, who had fallen victim to the poison. After a few moments it felt as though maybe something was off, perhaps it was some sick joke that Red was pulling. "Red, are you messing with us?" Blue asked, a serious tone in his voice. "Because it's no-" He was cut off as he had a feeling in his throat that made him cough and choke. Foam bubbles from his mouth as he coughed.

They all stared at Blue in horror. "BLUE!!! NOOOO!!!" Green screamed as he rushed over to his friend and tried desperately to help him, somehow. Blue started convulsing, his coughing was now gone, leaving nothing but a choking sound coming from him. Green tried desperately to do something to save Blue, the others staring in pure horror, but it was no use. Blue's convulsions slowed, his choking slowly stopping, and soon he went completely still and fell completely silent, Blue was dead.

"No... Blue..." Green almost whispered, tears now running down his cheeks. Everyone stayed silent, unable to believe that this was happening. Two of their friends had died now. How could that monster do this to them? How could someone be so evil?

Yellow was the first to speak, his voice twisted with hate. "That monster is going to pay for what he did." Everyone nodded in agreement except for The Second Coming, who shook his head. "Yellow, how are we supposed to fight that thing when so far it has only attacked us in a way that prevents us from fighting back?" Everyone stopped to think for moment, wondering how they could stop this.

But right as they were thinking the entrance to the cave collapsed with a huge crash, making everyone jump. "Oh great, this is just perfect! How are we supposed to get out now?" Red questioned. Green backed up against the wall opposite to where the cave entrance was, leaning up against it, and he suddenly yelped in surprise and fell backwards, the rocks coming loose and making him fall backwards.

Everyone turned towards Green and just stared for a moment. "Well... I guess that's our way out." Brown said. Pink didn't hesitate and walked straight into the part of the cave that was revealed, the others followed her while Green scrambled to his feet to follow them, glancing back at Blue's body as if he didn't want to leave his body there. But he kept up with everyone, although he was clearly still upset.

"There's two ways to go. Which way do we go?" The Second Coming said as he looked at both passageways that dropped down enough that they would slide down and would leave them unable to climb back up. "I'll go down one side and I'll call up if it's safe." Yellow said. He walked over to one of the passageways and stepped in, sliding him down quickly.

Yellow yelped in pain when he collided with some stone spikes, yellow blood oozed out of where his legs hit the spikes. He climbed over the spikes and noticed a passageway right next to the one he went in. Both passageways lead to the same place. The one opposite to the one he went down didn't have any spikes, so it was safer.

"Guys! It's ok! But don't go down the same way I did! Both go to the same place, but the one I went down has some spikes at the end of it! Go down the other one!" Yellow called up. The others slide down after him, going down the opposite passage that Yellow did as he instructed.

"Ouch Yellow!" Red said when he saw the cuts on Yellow. "That must have hurt!" "It did, but we should keep moving." Yellow responded. There was another passageway opposite where they came from and they walked towards it, The Second Coming in the lead. There was a sharp turn in the stone tunnel which they could clearly see as the walked towards the very close turn.

Suddenly, The Second Coming screeched in surprise and fear, jumping back as he did. Pink had seen what he had seen and she had taken a few steps back as well, Brown having caught a glimpse of it as well. "What?" Red asked. "That thing was right there! It just popped up around the corner and then disappeared!" Second shouted. "I saw it too!" Pink squeaked.

"We don't have a choice but to keep moving, so let's go." Brown said sternly. They walked around the corner, which lead to a small drop. They all jumped down and noticed some more loose rocks, which crumbled the second that they all jumped in. It looked like something had been built here, why it was built was a mystery.

Green looked back and his eyes widened with horror. The cave was starting to flood! "Guys! We've gotta get out of here! The cave is flooding!" Green shouted and pointed to the quickly rising water.

Panic set in all of them as they scrambled towards the build. Now it seemed clear what it was for. It was built to get to the top of this cave. They all rushed to get to the top jumping onto one platform, and then another. Suddenly, both Pink and Yellow slipped and fell onto a platform below them, a platform that was almost flooded. Both of them had been hurt badly enough before that they wouldn't survive the damage that the rain water would cause.

"NO!!!" Green screamed. Before anyone else could react, Brown jumped down to them and pick up Pink and threw her up to a platform that was high enough up that she would be ok if she kept on moving. Then he quickly grabbed Yellow, right as the water rose up to their feet and threw him up onto the same platform. "BROWN!!! NO!!!" Pink screamed.

Brown tried to jump up after them, to catch up to them, but the it was too much. As he still tried he shouted to them. "Don't worry about me! Keep going! Do it for Navy! Do it for Blue! Do it for me!" And then the water rushed over his head. He struggled on the surface for a moment before he went limp and sank down into the water.

Tears in her eyes, Pink followed everyone, Yellow close behind her. Brown had always been the most reliable person she'd ever known, and he just proved that now more than ever. He gave his life to save her and Yellow, and if his last wish was that they would all make it out safe, then she would do everything in her power to fulfill his wish.

Pink and Yellow soon managed to catch up with the others, the sadness of losing yet another friend reflected in all of them. Soon the water stopped rising and the sun was starting to rise, and they would soon feel safe going outside once more.

............

When they went outside they all seemed to have the same realization, a recognition that something about that monster was in a pattern. "That monster seems to only attack at night." Yellow said. They all nodded in agreement. "So that means we only have one more night to survive before we get to go home." Green said. "I just wish that we would have been leaving with all of our friends instead of just the five of us." Red said sadly.

They all just bowed their heads in silence, upset about the way this camping trip turned out. "Brown's last wish was that we all make it out safe. If that's what he wanted then I will do whatever it takes to make sure the rest of us survive!" Pink said in a determined voice. They all nodded in agreement. "Let's make sure that we get out of here alive. Not just for Brown, but for Blue and Navy as well." The Second Coming announces.

They all rushed back to the camp site and were greeted with yet another terrifying site. A trail of blood leading into the remaining tent, a pool of blood on the floor of the tent. "What in the world?!" Green said. "Guys... there's writing in blood on the wall of the tent. And it says 'I'm still alive'." The Second Coming said. They all got chills, realizing what that meant.

"Well, let's just try to stay positive for the rest of the day." Pink said in a forced cheerful voice. They all just nodded and tried not to think about that monster for the rest of the day.

.........

When the sun had set they had all rushed back to the camp site. Since there were now much less people there was enough room for them to sleep in the remaining tent. And even if their wasn't enough room they wouldn't have a choice. The cave was blocked off and flooded, so the remaining tent was their only option.

They all sat around the camp fire, no longer wanting to tell scary stories after the horrors that they witnessed. Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blew out the fire, casting them all in darkness. As their eyes adjusted to the darkness, they heard Pink scream, but it was cut off so quickly. When their eyes adjusted to the dark The Second Coming grabbed the lighter and the kindling and lit the fire again, only to find that Pink was gone.

"Oh no! Not Pink too! We've gotta find her!" Red shouted. "Let's split up and search, that way we can find her quickly." The Second Coming said. They all nodded and ran off, looking for Pink.

Meanwhile, Pink found herself tied to a tree, a single rope tied to her hands and allowing her to walk away from the tree a bit. She tried to scream so that the boys could find her, but she couldn't. Her mouth was covered with a gag so that she couldn't call for help.

She tried to pull herself free, but it was no use. Would the others even look for her? And if they did then would they find her before something else happens to her? Suddenly she spotted Green and let out a muffled scream in the hopes that he would hear her. Green turned towards Pink and ran towards her. He quickly untied the ropes, screaming "I FOUND HER" as he did so, probably to let the others know.

As soon as the rope was untied Pink took of the gag and Green grabbed her by the hand and ran towards the camp site, hurrying since it was now starting to rain. They got to the tent and threw themselves inside, the others were there waiting for them. "We heard you, so we came back here." The Second Coming said. Green just nodded, panting hard from running so fast.

Soon an eerie sound filled the woods, replacing the rain, turning their attention towards the sound. A blackness was rushing towards them, filling the forest. "We need to run!" Yellow screeched as he threw open the screen door of the tent. "This way!" The Second Coming shouted as he took off behind the tent. They all followed him as he lead them to two stone pillars, one of which had parts that would allow them to climb it.

The Second Coming threw himself on the stone with the parts that would allow him to climb it and scrambled to the top. The others quickly following him. When they got to the top they looked down to see the darkness slowly rising towards the top of the pillars. Were they high enough up? Right when they thought that the darkness would rise up and over take them it stopped right before it could start to cover the pillars.

They all sighed in relief and glanced at one another. They were safe. Suddenly, the black figure appeared on the other pillar, a wooden plank also appeared and covered over both pillars just enough to allow someone to walk across it.

To their horror, the black figure started to walk, or something like that since his remaining leg wasn't moving, towards them. Then sun rose when the figure was halfway across the plank, casting light over them and the black figure fell forward and looked up at them. "No! The sun!" The figure cried, as if in pain. "You deserves that! You attacked us, poisoned us, and kidnapped one of us!" Yellow shout at the figure.

"You don't understand... I was only trying to help!" The figure cried. "Ever since the insistent occurred, I went insane, and I couldn't another murder take place in these woods." The figure took a few deep breaths, their strength seeming to be fading. "Every time I appeared, I was trying to save you from them." The figure continued. They all looked at each other in confusion and then back at the figure. "I didn't poison anyone."

"If you didn't poison anyone then who did?" Pink questioned. A dark shadow seemed to pass over The Second Coming's face, like he was realizing something. Yellow began to think back on everything that had happened. If this figure didn't poison them then who did? Realization struck Yellow, not only that one of them must have poisoned someone, but also that he knew who it was.

Blue was the first to come back to the camp site, so if he hadn't been the one to be poisoned then he would have been suspected, Red had been the last one to leave the camp site when they had went off to find a place to leave Navy's body until they could leave, but then why would he point out the poison?

Then thinking back, The Second Coming had been the one to bring the picnic basket in the first place. Green didn't seem to believe the figure, he was furious that his best friend had been killed. Yellow turned to The Second Coming, and saw something that made chills go down his spine. A smirk started to form on The Second Coming as he pulled out a knife and proceeded to stab Pink in the back.

Pink screamed in pain and fell, almost of the edge of the pillar. Green now stared at The Second Coming in horror as Second turned around and stabbed Yellow in the chest before he could react. Yellow staggered away from The Second Coming, all of them staring at him in shock. "Second... why? Why would you do this?" Second looked at him and laughed an evil laugh. "Because I have a taste for blood, and I need it to be satisfied." The Second Coming answered, an evil look on his face as he kicked Pink over the edge of the pillar, the darkness killing her instantly thanks to how weak she already was.

Red was now furious at seeing Second do something like this he ran towards Second, in an attempt to throw him off, but instead Second dodged to the side and stabbed Red in the back, then pushing him over the edge. Green ran towards Second as well, but The Second Coming dodged out of the way and kicked Yellow over the edge.

In a last ditch attempt, Green rushed straight towards The Second Coming, hoping at least take Second down with him. Instead Second stabbed him in the head, causing him to fall and stare up hopelessly at The Second Coming. "Give the others my best wishes." Second said evilly right before he stabbed Green in the head once more, casting his world into darkness.
